Afterglow Heating is a small family run gas heating and plumbing business situated in Hedge End Southampton. We are gas safe registered installers and we undertake all gas work from boiler repairs / breakdowns to servicing and installations, to gas fire and much more. We also deal with the plumbing side from dripping taps to installing showers. We are also a Vaillant Mastertech installer which means we can offer up to 10 year guarantees on new Vaillant boiler installations!

This is the first time I’ve used Afterglow which was on a recommendation from a friend. I now can’t imagine using another company. I cannot thank Steve enough for the swift and efficient service I had from him. He was honest and open about the issues he found, I was confident what he was saying was what we needed to do. He was able to complete repairs and fit a new boiler within excellent timescales. I would highly recommend him and the company and will not only use him again but recommend him to my friends and family.

Combination boiler replacement.
We had our Combination boiler replaced, the whole installation was very swift and a very tidy and professional job.
Much better than the previous installation and very neat.

Excellent Company
We have just had a new boiler and and unvented cylinder installed. From the start to finish Afterglow was brilliant. The first consultation with Steve was so helpful as he provided us with several options for our property, We agreed on the system that was best for us. On the day of installation, Steve arrived with Pete and was quickly underway. Both were so careful around the house and we were kept up to date with progress. They worked well and made sure we had facilities working at the end of the day. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the efforts made to make sure everything was neat, tidy and secure at the end of the day. We are delighted with the work done and have no hesitation in recommending Afterglow.

Top class service
Steve did a fantastic job replacing and relocating our boiler from our utility room to our garage, as well as replacing our pump and capping a gas pipe. Would definitely use again in the future and would strongly recommend to others.

Excellent service!
Steve from Afterglow Heating LTD was extremely professional and friendly throughout the duration of our boiler service. Steve was also happy to go above and beyond and take the time to look at a separate issue regarding a thermostat on one of our radiators, which we really appreciate! Something you don’t always get from bigger companies. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again in the future!
