Peter is extremely engaging and knowledgeable. How does he remember off the top of his head the author of every book he's ever read? :-) He had my attention and I gained a lot of insight on setting vision and strategy for a product/company. My initial expectation of the class was to learn how to build a better product backlog and write better user stories and I would have really liked to see some more time spent on these more practical items -- these topics felt a little rushed at the end. Maybe there could be a Product Owner course tailored to us Corp America cogs who have a little less input on strategy but a lot of input on requirements gathering and execution. Again, the class was great - super insightful and interesting.
CPSO 10.23-24 Review
First, Peter is an excellent speaker. I wish the class was longer for that reason alone.
The content of the class felt like a preview. We covered a lot of topics in super light detail, only taking the time to really dive into a couple. It was all very interesting and left me feeling not that much wiser. So I have begun to think that the course is really designed to weed out people who will take the next course or the entire series.. Fair, but not worth more than 3 stars. If there were a way to test out of this intro, or some online offering, I would have preferred that.
Great training!
Great training!
Peter did a fantastic job, keeping us engaged and topics relevant. He was able to answer questions and dive deeper where we needed it.
Thanks!

Tricia's TBR class was chock full of new learning, concepts to experiment with and activities to try in my workshops. I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to light a fire under their training and meeting techniques and treat your participants to more value and lasting learning.

I liked how there were group activities during the session and that we were able to attend a class specifically for our company so we can use real scenarios during the training.
Awesome!
The CSPO, taught by Richard, was awesome! I came away with real executable strategies, not just theories outlined on paper. Richard uses an interactive approach that encourages critical thinking skills. There were no stuffy presentations. Perhaps one of the best training seminars I've ever had in my career. Well done!
Amazing course!!
Amazing course!!! I felt I learned a lot and have a whole new way of viewing the software development process, with a lot of new tools at my disposal. Peter Green is a fantastic instructor. I would recommend this course to anyone working in an agile environment.

CSPO training course
Class was great very interactive and hands on. I learned a lot and also was able to learn from others experiences in the class.

One of the best Agile classes I've taken. Not only do you learn agile coaching skills, you learn facilitation skills, listening, how to be effective in a group and when to step back and let them figure things out. This class is a great mix of learning and hands on exercises. As an introvert, I appreciated that there was always an option to "pass" on an exercise, but I never felt the need to use that. Jake and Trisha create a safe space for everyone to share and come together for three exhausting and exhilarating days of learning. The only way you don't come away with better skills is if you aren't paying attention!
Good foundational understanding of Scrum
The course provide a solid foundational understanding of Scrum and a good simulation to help participants get hands on experience with the Scrum framework.
Good management philosophy principles…
Good management philosophy principles described in some jargon specific to SCRUM. Applicable to some, but not all, types of work. Class exercises were uncomfortable but not too invasive.

The test was more specific than the workshop and the video portion of the prerequisites. The test were primarily based upon the guide so I gave an average review.

Excellent!!
The format of the entire 2-day course was fantastically thought out! Leveraging activities and examples to teach/learn instead of slides was very impactful. Not only did I learn about content relevant to the CSPO certification but also to deliver a great learning/teaching experience! Thank you!!
