Room to Improve. New Management Needed.

My decision to leave was primarily driven by compensation, commute length, and concerns with management style. The managment regularly micromanaged tasks and did not align with the vision the owner had communicated to me during onboarding.

On my second day, arrived 10 minutes late due to an unexpected commute delay and was addressed in a manner that felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. The expectation to notify the management of any potential delay is understandable, but the delivery lacked maturity and respect.

Additionally, I was required to report every small update or adjustment made to client accounts—even when performance metrics clearly reflected the progress. This level of oversight felt excessive and hindered productivity.

Advice to Management

I recommend focusing on hiring individuals whose approach and values align closely with the company’s long-term vision. Based on the current turnover rate, it may be worthwhile to evaluate whether the right people are being placed in key positions.

In my experience, the manager I reported to demonstrated behavior that felt more authoritative than collaborative and did not appear to have the level of expertise required for effective leadership. Reassessing leadership fit could significantly improve team performance and employee retention.

Hurriedly Designed and Poorly Executed Marketing Strategies Only Add to Your Stress

These people are liars. They brag about being unique, but they are everything but that. They create terrible strategies, don't execute them correctly, and then blame everyone and everything for the awful results. One thing they are good at is coming up with ridiculous excuses for why their methods are not working. I had to endure a ton of stress to deal with them. It wasn't worth it!
