I booked my car in for a mot through this company, it came back failed. It needed a few things doing to it, especially the braking system, what happened next was 1 of the owners leant me his car so I at least had transport, but he needed the car back, he then paid for a curtesy car for me as the job needed more time to fix. My car passed it's mot. Again Ian and Josh and Rebecca looked after me, they had no obligation to give me a car, I can't thank this company enough, highly recommend

Honestly can’t recommend AG Performance enough.

I’ve had a few things sorted on my car here now and they’ve been amazing every single time. I haven’t been driving that long and I’ll be honest I don’t know loads about cars but I’ve always felt looked after whenever I’ve come in. The team are super friendly, explain everything clearly, and never make you feel silly for asking questions.

They always get my car back to me quickly, do a proper job, and I genuinely feel like they try to give you the best price they can. I trust them completely and wouldn’t even think about going anywhere else. If you’re in Lincoln and need a garage, this is 100% the one to go to.

I initially came upon AG Performance when I was looking for a reliable garage to do a full service on my car. I have had so many bad experiences with garages that I was quite sceptical about using somebody new. I needn’t have worried at all! Not only did they do a service, but they also did a full and complete check of the car from front to back.
They identified some problems (which I was aware of but didn’t know they were doing such a comprehensive check), they quoted me for the work they identified and I agreed to have the work done a couple of weeks later.
I booked the car in and they did the work they said they would do at the price they quoted (a little less actually!). A little hiccup in parts availability set the job back a couple of days but, most importantly, they were completely honest and transparent about it and kept me well informed.
I really can’t praise Josh, Ian and Becky enough!
I will never go anywhere else now, they are, in my opinion the absolute dream team.
My car is not an easy car to work on and parts availability is not ideal but they never once complained and made me feel as if I was their single most important customer.

Review for AG Performance Garage

I took my car to AG Performance Garage for a timing chain change, expecting a professional job. Initially, they estimated it would take 12 working hours, but then they called to say there were issues, and it would take 5 days. After I finally got my car back, the engine light came on again, and they said the camshaft needed replacing, which took another 2 days.

After these "repairs," the car never felt the same. There was a strong smell of fuel inside, which they attributed to a leaking fuel pressure rail. They claimed to fix it, and of course, I had to pay extra. Unfortunately, the smell returned, prompting me to take the car to a different garage. The new mechanic was shocked by what he found: a broken fuel pressure sensor and a burst rail pipe spraying fuel over the engine. Additionally, the engine was leaking oil onto the gearbox, and they had used the wrong spec gearbox oil.

I paid AG Performance thousands of pounds, only for them to completely mess up my car. I've since had to pay more to fix their mistakes. My advice? Stay far away from AG Performance Garage. They are unprofessional and unreliable.

I recommend this garage 💯%. I had a problem with my brakes, a wheel nut had come loose and there was scoring on the brake discs, the front brake pads and discs were replaced and front wheel baring nut also. Im to return back after 100 miles to have the driveshaft nut cheched. Josh and Ian the owners were very professional , friendly and helpful, they also delivered my car back to my home, which they did not have to do. I have no complaints. Thank you guys

Fantastic garage, helpful, kind, friendly staff and mechanics. Spent a lot of time on my car, kept me well informed and updated regarding its progress. Most importantly, did not carry out any work until I had authorised it. The work they carried out was perfect and I definitely recommend using this garage to anyone else. I won’t be using anyone else in the future. They also carried out some work on my car for free due to the amount I was spending on my car for repairs at this particular time.
