I have learned lot of new content with imhigh in science, maths and english, it has helped me improve my grades in all of them.

Aim high has increased my knowledge and helped me more than school. I feel that my science teacher Mr Shabaaz has prioritised us and made sure we are confident in what we learn.

I have had lots of improvements and I used to think I was bad at english even thought my parents said I was very good. If it wasn't for Mr small I would be thinking the same. He have me a big mental boost since I started. Mr small is also very nice and helps me tremendously. I have been enjoying these lesons and the timing isn't a big problem, considering that I wake up at 7.

I have been to three different tuition places around greater Manchester and have not been satisfied till i enrolled in to aim high!
The teachers all very helpful and i was given extra resources during my GCSE studies. Also have had Mr Mohid giving us a push every day with finding new material to help us revise before our GCSE exams last year.
I had jumped up by 2 whole grades within one month of tuition support and managed to get my maths from a grade 3 to a grade 8 in my final exams.
I would like to thank the team at aim high for all their help!

The weekly science sessions have definitely boosted my confidence in this daunting subject. With the assignments, quizzes and exam style questions, my grades have improved at school, but I still need to consistently put the effort in and ask for help on certain topics so that I feel better prepared for the exam. Mr Shabaz is a nice, optimistic tutor as he always asks what the students are up to at school and how they’re feeling every week. He is always motivating them to put all their efforts in to get the grades they deserve.

I like how the sessions are set up with the PowerPoint presentations and active recall questions as they help me to understand the topics better, but I’d also prefer to go though (full or half) mock past papers together so I can see what type of language I need to use to gain top marks - especially when diagrams and graphs are used for 6 markers as we don’t really look at those. My school teacher has also noticed my efforts and improved grades but she also advises me to continue to stay motivated and work hard with my tutor as much as possible to get the grades I’m aiming for as science is such broad and overwhelming subject.

Overall, these tuition sessions have definitely helped with my confidence and grades during the mocks, but with these lessons being online, some improvements could be made (such as, emailing the students past papers to work through at home and then mark during the session so that when they do take their exams, they feel less stressed).

As my exams commence next week, I already feel the stress and pressure, but with more perseverance and hard work, I also feel motivated and confident that I can get the grades I’m aiming for.

Mr shabaz is an amazing teacher , 1hour lesson with him a week I’ve learnt more in there than I have in my 5 years at high school science , top teacher and a top guy aswell really knows how to interact with the students and make everyone feel comfortable when he’s teaching , fantastic teacher couldn’t have asked for better recommended him to many family members and friends - Jabir

My first lesson i learnt so much many words I haven’t ever heard of before mr Shabaz was very helpful and easy to understand it was my first time learning things on the heart and the new things that i had learnt are still in my mind because i understood it the first time. Thank you mr shabaz

My science sessions have been extremely helpful, the teacher has made it his priority to make sure he can helps and provide resources to make sure that we can't get the grades we need.

Its a great place. My grades have gone up since i started and one main thing is it helps me to revise through classes and through motivating us. Overall a great palce and i would highly recommend it. I got my science grade from a 5 to a 9 and my maths grade from a 5 to a 9 too. This is just my personal experience so things might be different for you but no matter what I highly recommend it. Especially one of their teachers Mr Shabaz who helped a lot.

Aimhigh has helped me tremendously as I am now able to reach 7and 8 in maths, english and science they are able to teach properly explaining hard content in detail

Hi, I am a tutor at Aim High, I have been working for Aim High now for approximately five years now and I enjoy every single minute of it!! My job consists of working face to face and online classes with all year groups. I particularly enjoy the online lessons as I am working with students all over the uk. The students are a pleasure to teach as they have the determination to succeed in all aspects of learning.
