Absolutely dreadful..AIMS and Paul Savage

Absolutely dreadful... DO NOT Use. Our accountant Paul Savage, a franchisee of aims is a disgrace. Constant radio silent for over 3 weeks at a time on 5 seperate occasions... This man also has more viruses on his laptop than anyone I have ever met. Doesn't respond to emails, doesn't answer his mobile or office phone constantly have to chase for work to be done and disappeared for 6 weeks over Christmas sending my payroll over a week late!!! At Christmas... Constantly contacted AIMS, over 30 phone calls and emails to them... Standard response, we can't get hold of him either. Disgusting service, no respect for clients 4000k. I have moved accountants.

What I'm paying over £300 a year for I…

What I'm paying over £300 a year for I have no idea.im a sole trader and thought was best to have a professional accountant assist with tax returns..
My accountant can't even be bothered to reply to an email, all you receive is an email once a year saying send me your figures..I have 0 trust in this company.my advice would be either do it yourself or find a professional

Two no-shows by rep - Terrible service

I was stood up twice. I had booked (and paid for) meeting rooms in a conferencing facility to meet (I'm freelance and work from home). I also turned down paid work to attend these meetings - and Aims was a no show both times.
I tried calling the contact number I was given but no answer.
I have emailed their CEO with no answer.
Seems a total scam to me.

Strongly advise against

I would strongly advise avoiding this accountant at all costs if you wish to protect your confidentiality. This accountant sent over another businesses end of year accounts without any protected access, totally unprofessional from the word go. Overall the sheer level of rudeness that the accountant directed at us, there was no consideration from the word go that we were first time business owners, but I reinforce the fact at no point, did he even try to get to know us as clients. He was constantly rude and abrupt in conversations, patronising at times. Any reasonable individual would take the time to understand their client and talk them through queries in a professional manner. This accountant is unprofessional, careless, has poor knowledge as we were misadvised at times and has an awful attitude. Do not use if you value your business. Dhruv Pandya simply awful and AIMS accountants simply ignored the issues also

Very glad to move away from AIMS

The accounting software provided by AIMS was never suited to my business and never set up correclty. within some modules, my access initially was locked down to the point it was unuseable. This resulted in having to hand over all the book keeping and accounting requirements to AIMS at increasing cost. Finally following what should have been a simple problem for them to fix, within the software, I waited over 2 weeks for a suitable response and none came other than an indignant email from the accountant about how maney emails I had sent trying to get the required response! Not very helpful, not really suited to very small Ltd companies, quite unfriendly. The response from AIMS management was also, just to wait for the accountant to get in touch, no useful assistance provided by them either.

Gave us the wrong advice, HMRC fine TRIPLED

Mr.Adam West from AIMS Accountants gave us the wrong advice, causing our late accounts filing fine to increase nearly 3 times what it should have been. To be perfectly transparent, we were always going to file our accounts a couple of days late due to difficulties in getting in touch with the previous Directors. However, Mr.West told us the late filing fine would stay the same for a 90 day period, instead of a 30 day period (which is the correct information), and he did not request for an extension with HMRC, which would have meant no fine at all. We would have undoubtedly and without issue filed the accounts within that 30 day period, had we had the correct information. He then stopped replying to our messages and disappeared, without taking responsibility and now we have to pay the excess amount for his mistake.
