Slow return process

I've returned the bag pack according the return policy, but it took a few weeks to process the return. The customer service is replied a few times, but I had no clarity what is the stage of the refund.

The bag pack itself was nice, sturdy, ideal for travel, but not for work and commute.

Initally impressed by the speedy communication, then...........

Initially impressed by the speedy correspondence, wanted to purchase the Original Carry on backpack for an upcoming long haul trip, very responsive communication, quick delivery

The product is quality made, much better than cheaper versions I've had previously

However, the compression bag, does not stay compressed for very long - I contacted Airback and was told this is normal, so on a long haul flight the compression has deflated! my cheaper versions stayed compressed!

a few email back and forth I asked how to return for a refund - no response to last few emails, leaving no choice but to raise a dispute through PayPal

The product is well made, great compartment, but Airback need to make it clear that the compression does not stay compressed for very long and be better at their communication when issues arise - this is always the tell of a good company!

Regarding compression: while the Airback system is designed to significantly reduce volume, it can't fully remain 100% vacuum-sealed indefinitely. Some gradual air release over time is normal and doesn’t affect the structural integrity or usability of the backpack. That said, we understand that expectations can differ, and your feedback on clarity is valid.

We’re sorry to hear that our follow-up communication didn’t meet expectations. I do want to inform you that the last email we received from you has been answered, maybe it landed in spam?

Refused to issue refund

I had ordered this item on November 21st. Over two weeks had gone by and the item still had not been sent even though multiple attempts of me reaching out had been made told me it would be on the way soon. I had a UPS message saying that they had made a shipping label then canceled my order on November 28th. I had feared if it was taking them this long to send the product and it was getting close to Christmas because it was a gift in the future I may have problems with returns/exchanges if anything had occurred. I went online and canceled the order. I also reached out to them to notify I canceled the order. I went shopping and bought a solgaard instead. A week later after I canceled the order I received a notification they were going to ship the order. I reached out again DO NOT SEND ORDER I canceled it issue refund please! They still sent the order. I paid $6 to UPS to have it delivered to an access point so I could refused the order. I refused the order on December 15th. It is now 25 days later I have not received a refund and they have not received the product that was sent back. They say they will not issue a refund unless they receive the item but I called UPS and the product is just sitting at a distribution center not being sent back even though I refused it. I WANT A REFUND the order was $600!!!

Terrible Terrible Terrible

I ordered my GO backpack in the 20th Nov 2025 and decided to return it on the 10th of December 2025.
I packaged and posted it as per the instructions from Airback and sent it to the address that was on the email they sent me

Customs are now saying that this address is incorrect and they are returning this to me andbit can take up to 12 weeks!!!!!!!!
This has cost me a total of £200.00 and airback are not willing to help me.
They have stopped answering my emails and when i send a new email i get a template answer saying 'we are busy'
Terrible terrible service and no contact number to speak with someone.
They also told me in am email to send an email to

return (at) airback.store

I did just that and I got an immediate response saying 'this address does not exist'
I copy and pasted it from the email as I did the address on the package!

Would not surprise me if this turns out to be a fraud.

Very happy with all 3 types of AirPacks

After my first AirBack backpack I ended up getting 2 more, both the big and the small, under seat model which arrived just right for X-mas. Really happy with the build quality and how practical they are. They’ve been with me on many trips now and held up perfectly. Also had a very good experience with customer service — quick and helpful. Would definitely buy again.

Faulty items - the company doesn’t want to replace them

I have purchased a backpack and a pump in November 2025 after the advert appeared on my screen as Black Friday sale.

Unfortunately the zip of the backpack is broken and the pump doesn’t work. I followed the guidance of the instructional video, charged the pump but the battery seems to be completely flat, hence useless.

I contacted the company who offered me another backpack and a pump ONLY IF I PAY AN EXTRA £75.
I did not accept their ridiculous offer.

Still waiting for the company to offer me a full refund or a new backpack and pump without extra cost.

I was not aware that this product has no warranty.

Second purchase - very happy :)

I wrote a review in August and updated in November. I mentioned I’d backed their Kickstarter campaign for their next backpack, the Flex.

It’s arrived, and it’s lovely! The perfect size for a short hop away and just what I needed when the original Airback was just a little too big. The fact it converts into a wheelable trolley too is awesome. I can’t wait to use it next month and I’ve just booked a trip where I’ve deliberately not paid for anything extra than the free underwear back.

I did a trial pack and got 3 t shirts, 3 sets of underwear/socks, jeans, jumper and a pair of shorts in there - before using the expansion or shoe compartments. I probably could have fitted more in!

I love the colours choices, having had the blue original i opted for the black this time - and I think it being all black makes it look even more premium.

A big shout out to Rowena and the team for sorting the processing of the orders etc so quickly.

Excellent customer servi participate in…


I would not normally participate in this sort of thing however in this case I feel I should share a very positive incident with this company
Unfortunately my shipment was lost so we was unable to use the product when necessary so I immediately got in touch with them regarding this expecting a very long and tedious process however I was extremely impressed by the way the company responded.The case was dealt with by the head of logistics who I would live to name but apparently cannot on this platform.To say he went above and beyond would be a injustice to the man his customer service was excellent and he his a real credit to this company.I can honestly say i would highly recommend them and will certainly use them in the future

Excellent Support

The customer support, provided by Fedde, was outstanding. I had an issue with my delivery and Fedde replied promptly and solved the matter in the most uncomplicated manner.
It is reassuring that you stay valuable as a customer even after the product has left Airback’s warehouse.

Airback customer service is excellent

I haven't yet received the bag itself, but Airback have been very responsive all the way through the process. There were a couple of niggles with kickstarter and pledge box in terms of not working, but the minute I let Airback know they resolved them incredibly speedily and without fuss

Legitimately works great!

Always expect things like this to be a gimmick but absolutely not in this case! Genuinely does exactly the job it claims to do and saves so much space in the backpack for more clothes. Love it!

I’m an travel influencer and I’ve been using an Airback GO…

I’m an travel influencer and to record content I travel about 6 months every year. For the past year I’ve been using the Airback GO backpack and I couldn’t be any happier with it. It’s exactly perfect. The size for example. It’s larger than a school bag, but smaller than those real travel rucksacks. This one you can actually fit in those airport baggage size control things at the gate. I’m really surprised how much I’m able to fit in the bag, and the vacuum makes it even more efficient. Amazing backpack! Never choosing any other brand than Airback.

I have the airback tote

I have the airback tote, I absolutely love it as my day bag. I bring it everywhere and it fits many school binders and laptop plus water and other necessities. I recommend this as a personal bag but also is a great travel bag too!

I got the Airback Original and thought…

I got the Airback Original and thought the vacuum feature was interesting, since I had been using vacuum bags that lasted only a few trips before this. Now I have it integrated with my bag, which made it more convenient.
