If anything, this review stands as a testament to our team's determination, resilience, and dedication.
To put the comment from Andreas D. (Stockholm) into perspective, he unlawfully retained an AirBuddy and its accessories after the package was accidentally misrouted by FedEx and delivered to his address.
He must have been fully aware the package was not his; the box clearly displayed the correct owner's details—featuring a completely different name, address, and country—in three places. Furthermore, having already received his own AirBuddy, it was obvious that this second 20kg oversized package—prominently branded with a familiar logo—was not intended for him. Indeed, he went as far as opening the box to reveal a second unit.
Andreas used vulgar and abusive language toward our staff when politely asked to make the package available for FedEx collection. He deliberately destroyed the shipping labels and Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation to obstruct the re-delivery.
Furthermore, he demanded a payment of 7,000 SEK (approximately A$1,000) to return the items, which he had since taken out to the open sea on his boat.
Following a week-long standoff, and pending a police report and legal action, he finally handed the main unit over to a local assistant whom we were forced to hire to retrieve it.
However, to date, he has still failed to return certain accessories.
We believe his actions constitute several offences under local laws, including unlawful possession, extortion, unlawful coercion, and harassment.
