On March 16 I checked out booking…

On March 16 I checked out booking flights using my Airmiles. The total Airmiles points I needed on this date was 22,191. I couldn’t book at this date because I didn’t have my accommodations confirmed. Today, March 21, 5 days later the total Airmiles I need is now 40,528!!!! Almost double! This is an unfair business practice. It makes me think twice about collecting Airmiles.

Pass the buck on customer service

ordered merchandise on Dec 3, 2021 for a Christmas present. Received it Jan 31/22 and it WAS NOT what was ordered. Sent a message in Messenger as I had contact with them earlier to find out what the holdup was. Of course the delay wasn't AirMiles fault, it was the supplier. Anyway, today, Becca at Messenger says "It's not her area". call the 800# or use live chat. Tried live chat but pretty sure there was nothing 'live' about it. Finally after an hour on the phone, Ian answers. Guess what "It's not his area" either. I asked to be transferred to the proper area, but that's not the way we do things here. They will refer it to another department and could be a week to hear back. Meanwhile I contact the supplier who says AirMiles ordered the wrong package, and to get the stainless steel bowl that was supposed to be part of the package will cost me $ 110.00 + taxes. My initial purchase was 8,675 Dream Miles that are long gone from my account and I'm still fighting to get the order fulfilled.

Horrible

Horrible. I'm still on hold after 2.5 hours. They ended emails so now we are forced to call.
I've never seen so many hate a company so much. And they just don't care. Horrible company!!!

THIS ONE OF THE MOST FRUSTRATING / UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE EVER.
YOU REALLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU JUST CARE ABOUT THE MIGHTY DOLLAR . AFTER HAVING TO FIGHT AND COMPLAIN I / WE FINELY GOT BACK OUR AIRMILES AND THE LEAST YOU COULD OF DONE WAS TO GIVE US EXTRA MILES FOR ALL THE TROUBLE WE HAVE GONE THROUGH .
WHEN I SAY POOR SERVICE THAT IS WHAT WE GOT FROM YOU .

Air miles just put in a 500% increase…

Air miles just put in a 500% increase if points required to fly. Have been saving for years now almost worthless. Can buy tickets cheaper from Flair than just the Arimiles surcharges. Rip OFF

I have been phoning

I have been phoning, trying to get through to the customer service center for 5 days with no luck, I use the call back option , then 6 hrs later I get a call from a automated voice saying they don't have a anyone available right now, book for a call back in 3 weeks, this is the WORST service I have ever experienced from any company

There are much better reward options out there now.

I have to give them the poorest rating possible. We had no end of difficulty getting through to them on the phone. After a 2.5 hr wait our call was accepted. Zero for customer service. We had hoped to use some points to go to Africa as we had done a few years ago but this is no longer an option. The points to just get to Europe are no longer really worth it. You might as well just pay. Not recommended.

Airmiles have eliminated our air miles…

Airmiles have eliminated our air miles because our account was dormant for a period of time.
When you call them your left waiting 1 and 1/2 hrs for a representative.

Hard to understand the point of having an airmiles card when they only appear to offer discontinued lines of products.
I tried to redeem my airmiles for a bbq only to find out they only offer the bbq in natural gas and NOT a propane. Then they tell you delivery is up to 4 weeks .
It is a useless system when you try to redeem any of your points.

It all seems a waste of time using the card.

I have been a collector since 2005

I have been a collector since 2005. I moved to a small town wayyyyy up north for work with no local options to collect points. I guess my account goes dormant after 24 months, so apparently I am no longer a collector.

I called to ask what can be done and was on hold for 1 HOUR and 45 MINUTES *before* the option was offered to have the call back service. During the time I was on hold the recording suggested that the wait time "could be more than one hour".

Finally TWO HOURS later the call back came where I was informed by an automatic voice that there was no time left for me today.

I was prompted to select a new call back starting from a week today, so I requested next Monday at 9:30 and the machine said, "that time is not available, the next time slot is available Monday, July 19th at 10:00am", (I'm paraphrasing, but you get the idea), which is TWO weeks away.

Could that not have been expressed to me when I made the original phone call? I'm juggling an at-home business, a busy dog and a 10-month-old who gets into everything these days. AND to be tied to my phone with sad hopes a person was going to answer any minute.

That suggested wait time of one hour actually turns out to be 336 hours! Hahaha.

Airmiles is purposely sabotaging safeway and others

my air miles from safeway purchases were not registering on my app, it actually said " retired " -15 ??? Right ...so I called to get an explanation .... 2 1/2 hours on hold/ignore i spent before frustration set in and I hung up... I then proceeded to call safeway and told them because of my treatment from air miles I am no longer a safeway or an air miles customer ... it really feels like some kind of agenda is playing out here ...all hail Monsanto and their hazmat equipped field workers

We ordered a bbq March 31. I just got another useless email from them telling me my order will not be in there warehouse until august and then give them 2 weeks to process. If you can’t get your products to your customers within a month don’t advertise you can get it. What a joke. Do any other rewards program!

This company is an example of corporate…

This company is an example of corporate fraud and tragedy in the modern world. You give them all your personal economic transactional data and they give you essentially nothing. They give you "airmiles". Airmiles are points you are supposed to exchange for flights or other purchases. After doing the math, it will take over 8 decades to accumulate enough points for a single international flight. This means it is highly likely you will have passed away before being able to get a single flight. Meanwhile this company gets away with stealing your data. What a sad world we live in. And airmiles contributes to making it a sadder world. The people behind this company should be held liable for fraud and in all honesty jailed.

Ripped off Alzheimers patient!!!

I must admit I had no idea that Airmiles was such a scumy organization! My dad has been collecting Airmiles for as long as I can remember, but for the last 4 years has been suffering from Alzheimers disease, and recently I cleared out his wallet and found his trusty Airmiles card only to find that the company Airmiles had deleted all his Airmiles to 0. After a call to complain, the best they would offer was a sorry for your luck & was there anything else they could help me with. What a heartless scam of an organization! Please delete your Airmiles account as soon as you can before they do it for you for some reason they decide to make up in the future.

As a Airmiles collector since 1997 I am…

As a Airmiles collector since 1997 I am so disappointed with the changes made in 2020 regarding accumulating partial air miles per transactions. The change is so significant that I have compare my purchases year over year and in the past 12 months I have 66 airmiles collected for the same purchase totals compared to 1100 the year before. What a slap in loyal users faces who have stuck by this program for 20 plus years.

Airmiles your time is up 👏…

Big players are ending longTime partnership with airmiles including LCBO and Rexal pharma plus. I'm not surprised about their decision, about 80% of the points i apparently collected never showed up on my airmiles account and it's always a Hassel for the customer and the companies associated with airmiles because the customer will start calling those places they purchased from giving them a hard time on where their points are ? And that place whatever it is has to ask them to call airmiles and then when a customer reaches out to airmiles, they're rude and they take hours to answer and even hang up on you and even once you speak to someone, you end up getting no where with them. Airmiles your time is up 👏

I was looking at booking a flight to either Portugal or Panama and I am just curious how the fees you have to pay are more than what it costs to book your own flight online. While not having to connect with three different flights there and back. Looks like they are making money off of their customers. Not happy at all

Didn't receive second order and they are not helpful

I ordered a watch and I received it. I ordered headphones and never received them. I checked the tracking number, it showed me Canpar delivered it. I checked my mailbox, was empty and no notice left. I checked the "proof of delivery" and found that Canpar faked my signature! They have a signature with 4 letters, none of them is included in my last or first name. I contacted Airmiles on Facebook and they asked me to call them and if I have a general question they can help. I asked if they would refund in case of not receiving the order (that's a general question) but they said we can offer no further help have a good day! What the f***!!!! Then what kind of help can you offer? And why are you running a business page?

After years of collecting and getting shoddy one way service I through the card in the garbage. Why is it when you cash in miles for say a hotel room you not only pay the taxes but a service charge too. Stick to reward Credit Cards. They are a least transparent and offer more.
