Knowledgeable and helpful team
David and his team were very knowledgeable and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again.
David and the team carried out woodfibre blown-in insulation to the walls and roof of our new-build home. They also carried out air tightness testing throughout, providing useful guidance on Passivhaus compliance. A thermographic camera was also utilised to allow us to quickly find the source of any air leakage and therefore highlight any remedial work that was required.
Overall I found David and his team, prompt, knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

David from Airotech recently carried out an air tightness test on my new-build holiday chalet in Gardenstown, in the north east of Scotland, and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

Hi Naeem, Many thanks for your most considerate feedback. Before AiroTech carried out the infrared thermography survey of your newly installed windows and doors the installer had been back twice in an attempt to rectify ongoing issues - unsuccessfully. You agreed to half the costs of the infrared survey with the installer. However after the infrared survey, which clearly identified areas of air infiltration into your house the installer agreed to pay for the full infrared survey(which he has) and rectify the issues clearly highlighted in the final IR report by AiroTech. I am so happy that our service has been of benefit and money well spent as this will make your house more comfortable/energy efficient. The window installer has taken onboard the deficiencies in the window design which he is going to feedback to the window manufacturer and he will also tighten up in his installation procedures which will involve some retraining of his employees.

Airotech's thermal heat loss survey was extremely informative. David identified numerous points of air infiltration and heat loss, including in an unexpected places like our new Velux windows. He was professional and happy to discuss the survey as he conducted the survey.

I made initial contact by telephone, David spent time making sure Airotech would meet my requirements and explaining the process. A date was arranged for the Infrared Thermography survey and once again due to my work commitments and the unpredictable weather where I live, David managed to accommodate both issues.
He arrived on time and carried out a thorough survey of the property. The report came back within the given time frame and was very thorough. I would highly recommend Airotech to anyone looking for this service. I really struggled to find a company able to help me, it’s becoming more difficult in the current climate to find someone that knows their job, is professional and actually does what they agreed to.
