Wish I had read the reviews before I spent £179.
That’s a lesson to be learnt .

I've not received mine yet, could kick myself for not reading reviews first, I tried to cancel my order within a couple of hours of ordering, and guess what....... said it had already been shipped, what a load of bull 💩, kiss goodbye to £160. Big lesson learned !!!

The hairdryer is not CE-marked (Conformité Européenne) and therefore not allowed to be sold in Europe. However, it is marked with a symbol very similar to the CE symbol (China Export symbol). One difference is that the Chinese symbol has a clearly shorter distance between C and E than the EU symbol has. The China Export symbol does not say anything about how safe a product is, it just shows that the product is made in China. The manufacturer is responsible for ensuring that the requirements are met according to European/ISO Laws, directives and regulations. This means that you have no obligation to pay anything. If they want the product back, they have to pay the shipping themselves. Look at older reviews where they e.g. have received electric shocks and parts that have melted. Also take the opportunity to report the product to your respective country's electrical safety authority. Also report KLARNA financial companies that do not blacklist a company like this.

Someone has written fake reviews about this product to glorify it and rate it as the best on the market… sooo annoying !!!

The product comes with a plug that can’t be used in Australia and to convert it severely compromises the hairdryer
Correspondence is a total dead end, obviously rip off merchants from China.My last email from them suggested I give it to a friend and they’ll reimburse me 5% (yeah right) and the hairdryer doesn’t work in Australia
No return address provided so they continue to charge ppl $309 for a product that can’t be used
Not sure how we stop them but I don’t like being ripped off… I’m 66 years of age …. But please heed my warning and don’t play into their hands

I have ordered this hairdryer the 22 in the morning, then i read the reviews then i was so so scared i thought i lost my money and it is a scam , then i emailed them the same day i said i hope this reviews are not correct, then they replied to me the next day , when ever i emailed them they came back to me ، they have a good service , i received mine today it is the 29 , very nice hairdryer with all the features

Received product and want to return it - they REFUSE to provide return details, even though they claim to accept returns over a 90 day period. More than 15 emails exchanged, and STILL no return details - they just reiterate the point that customer had to pay for the shipping and customs duty (which I have told them REPEATEDLY is fine by me!). Obviously a major scam company, STAY CLEAR!

Terrible experience!! Wish I had seen the trust pilot reviews before purchasing. Waste of $300. Received a UK plug whilst I live in Australia. Ended up buying an adaptor to make it work. Worked sometimes and other times didn't and now doesn't even turn on, only used the hair dryer on 2 occasions before it stopped working. They tried to dissuade me from returning the product for a 5% compensation and to consider the high shipping and customs clearance costs. They wanted me to accept that the product was not faulty if I accepted any compensation. I've emailed them 3 times asking what their return address was and they replied to not use the one on the box??? Worst customer experience and terrible product. Still going to persevere to return the product as a matter of principle.

Had the dryer less than 1 year and is broken and melt s the attachments as well as the inside of the dryer opening for the nozzles. When I contacted Airtecho I was told that because it was over 6 months old there was nothing they can do. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have had a dryer previously for £50 that lasted years, yet this you pay £180 for doesn’t even last 1 year. DO NOT BUY!!

Had the hairdryer 1 year and it’s broken down completely and nothing can be done as more than 6 months old!! Absolute waste of money £179 paid - DO NOT BUY - terrible product - terrible customer service!!!

Arrived with a plug for UK, when I live in Australia. Customer service poor to disgraceful. The company is in China and have no credability. They knew I was a customer from Australia not UK as they added a adapter plug, which is big and bulky. They offered me a discount of 25% which I accepted but they wanted me to acknowledge the product did not have a quality problem. I did not accept their terms. I purchased a Dyson and wrote off the China take off as a bad experience. Every email they quote: Sorry for any problem. Be patient. Annoying company. Lesson learned $300 mistake.

I wish I could give this a MINUS review. After many weeks and umpteen emails, I’ve FINALLY got a refund, cost me £34.70 postage and £37+ custom costs but I was determined to not let them sell me something I’d been led to believe was a Uk product!! AVOID AT ANY COST!!

I wish I have red the reviews before buying this hair dryer , they advertise as being a UK company , however they are NOT ! Products are sent from China . On the website it says a 7 day delivery and I got my hairdryer in 1 month ,and now they are refusing to pay for a return , which needs to be sent back to China !IT IS a SCAM !

OK, without doubt, this is a scam, you can buy the same hairdryer on Aliexpress for £30 and under many different brand names on Amazon. You will never get your money back, it is sold directly from China (passing off as a local supplier), and circumvents all trading standards and safety regulations.

However, some will be happy enough with your purchase and I want to warn all those people to STOP USING THIS DEVICE IMMEDIATELY, IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

In the EU & UK it is a legal requirement (IEC/EN 60335-1, section 11) that devices like hairdryers have a thermal cut-out, so if the nozzle is even just partially blocked, the device detects the dangerous increase in internal temperature and stops.

This dryer (and under its many alternative brandnames such as "Zcvtbye", "Atopskins" etc) does not. I found this out the hard way - by it catching fire and melting during everyday use. Using the narrowest nozzle attachment seems particularly prone to thermal runaway.

You will not be surprised that the Airtecho has no interest in this at all, and certainly not in offering refunds.

How I too wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing, these people are true SCAMMERS!!! I’m so annoyed with myself.
It’s going to cost in excess of £36 returning to China, but guess I’m not guaranteed to get my money back either??

I ordered this dryer after reading an online review of hair dryers which recommended it as number one (probably part of the scam). I asked for cancellation but they said they don’t allow cancellation and it has been shipped. It took more than 9 days to arrive. They asked me to receive it and that they will see. I asked my bank for a refund and raised a claim. The company got mad and offered 50% refund. They would not accept refunds and you have to pay the shipping fees for returns which cost me 30 pounds to china. They will take 15% of the original price if they accept your return.
The dryer is made in china with cheap quality and there’s Chinese words written on it. It is nothing like the advertisement on their website. The website highlights risk free returns which is misleading. There is nothing ethical or honest about this manipulative company. I am still fighting with them for the refund. Now it seems they want to pull another scam asking for a return number despite me providing them with the tracking information and receipt.

Purchased it after seeing it was highly recommended on a airtecho uk website and being number one recommended by quality-reviewer.com (The 5 Best Hair Dryers 2023)

An hour later I saw the reviews on trust pilot, and asked them to cancel my order, but they refused claiming its already shipped. If this is true why it took long to arrive. I new it was a scam. I received the shipment email 4 days after they replied back to me.
Moreover the dryer arrived from China, and looks very cheap not as advertised
Even the packaging is very cheap, no labels or prints nothing.
I don't recommend this to anyone, I would even give it a zero star

And why we can't write our reviews on airtecho website?

Ordered a hairblower and to be fair I did not check the reviews in advance. I ordered the blue one and after the order/pay-proces i realised to check the reviews. To my shock It only had bad reviews: oh no! I tried to contact the service of AirTecho.. they responded that the order was already in proces and could not be stopped. I was very angry since there was no time or chance to overthink and cancel. Also the cost of return are for the consumer. But then I received the product and I am very happy with this product. Not worth that much money but expected far worse to ne honest! Very happy with the product but check before you buy. I think the price would be fair at 80 euros not 199.
It has 3 stages of power and 3 stages cold to warm. Very pleased with these features. Wished the powercord would be longer!

It is a scam. Not a UK company. Send a small package to Royal Mail with no address and royal mail destroys it. Bank has confirmed that it is a scam. Avoid these scammers.
