One of the worst airline experiences I ever had in my multiple years of flying.

One of the worst airline experiences I have had.

Our flight was delayed by two days. The airline then lost 2 suitcases and 4 pairs of skis. We were told the luggage may take up to one month to arrive.

This was a ski vacation. The luggage will arrive after the trip is over, making the entire purpose of the vacation useless. Even if the bags arrive earlier, we would have at most one day to ski, which is unacceptable.

Customer service has been slow and unhelpful, offering excuses instead of solutions.

I would strongly advise avoiding this airline, especially if you are traveling with checked luggage or sports equipment.

Worst Airline Experience

On the 10th of July my girlfriend and I were booked to fly on Georgian airways flight A9627 to Paris to get on our connecting flight to Madagascar.
My girlfriend wasn't allowed to fly out of Tblisi where Georgian Airways claimed she needed a transit visa to fly through Paris on the way to Madagascar. We had no intention of leaving the airport in Paris and simply wanted to board our next flight. We were told by the staff that they were scared she would try to run off in Paris and they would have to pay a fine and basically treated us like vermin for the 6 hours we were there. My girlfriend has an Armenian passport but she's currently held visas to the US and Europe. This whole story of transit visas is ridiculous and I've never heard of such a thing. We phoned two French embassies and both agreed there was no case for a transit visa. So after not being able to fly and losing our tickets and 2,000 euros which the ticket seller refused to refund (because a transit visa is not needed and isn't a valid excuse..!) we went back down to Armenia and had to rebuy last minute tickets for 5,000 euros and we flew to Madagascar with Air France via Paris without any transit visa or any hassle and went on to join our holiday. But the agony, the tears, the money, and overall inhumane that represent you at Georgian airways was more then I can bare. The staff really treated her like she was some form of criminal. She's a very well respected University Professor in one of the top Universities in Yerevan and has previously worked for World Bank and has an international teaching career. The money I lost on this trip is not nearly as painful as all the crying and anger at this situation and it really ruined the whole mood at the start of this wonderful celebratory trip we were about to undertake. Now Georgian Airways won't respond to any emails and forced me to start legal proceedings.

Georgian Airways - First Class Customer Service

During a holiday to Georgia in Jul 2015 booked an internal (return) from Tibilisi to Batumi. Informed the airline holiday was cancelled due to illness. Thet responded quickly, wished a speedy recovery and the full amount less a small administrative charge, was credited to my bank in 3 days. Excellent customer service and highly recommended.
