I never usually write reviews

I never usually write reviews, but as a teacher I have to say: I don’t just use it to make resources, I also use it to get fresh ideas for how to approach a topic differently. Last week it gave me a completely new starter for my lesson that I never would’ve thought of on my own

Use it every single day

Right, I'm not someone who normally writes reviews. A colleague recommended it and I thought, yeah whatever, let's see. Now I use it every single day. Saves loads of time and the stuff that comes out is genuinely good quality. The Worksheet Glow-Up is my absolute highlight – takes my old boring sheets and turns them into something I'm actually proud to hand out.

I (mainly) teach German at a school but…

I (mainly) teach German at a school but I also do quite a bit of private online tutoring on the side, and honestly that's where AI School Genius has made the biggest difference for me. There's barely anything out there for one-to-one lessons and what you can find never really matches the student you've actually got in front of you. So for years I just built everything myself. Every single week...

The Listening Designer is the tool I use most. I paste in the words a student has actually learned and it spits out an audio file using only those. I also like dropping my students' own writing into the Image Generator tool to show them where they've been too vague in their descriptions. Plus, making pictures is fun, I'm not going to pretend otherwise haha!

For school the presentation tool is what's saved me the most evenings. I used to sit there for ages turning a topic into bullet points and then hunting for images that actually fit, and now I get a ready-to-go presentation in a few minutes. I still tweak it a bit so it feels like mine, but I don't have to.

Marking's the other one. I've got 33 in my class and essay correction used to wreck my Sundays. The AI actually reads handwriting, which sounds small but it's the thing that sold me, because almost everything my kids hand in is written by hand still. You can tell it how detailed you want the feedback and it looks at the actual content, grammar and spelling and everything.

The interactive tools are great too, the kids work through tasks on their own devices and check their own answers, which has changed how my lessons run. New features show up all the time and they're usually things I'd actually use. Support gets back to me fast whenever I'm stuck. I'm on the Ultimate plan and I've probably got the site open every single day.

Please DO NOT use. Clear Scammers targeting hard working teachers

Do not be fooled by the free 14 Day Trial, as when you try to cancel it's not an easy, straight forward process, with glitches in their system.

Their AI tools are useless. Chat GPT does a far superior job to what AI School Genius can do. It's absolutely useless to say the least, so please don't be fooled by the promises and certainly do not sign up to their 14 Free trial.

The company should be ashamed targeting and scamming teachers.

As someone has stated, their sign-up process is unethical and devious. Their customer support and assistance also leaves much to desire.

The exact same thing happened to me

The exact same thing happened to me, but this time I had an extremely misleading email from the company which meant I missed the deadline to cancel.
I signed up for the trial and added my details. When I planned to cancel, I received an email from them stating that I was 'only three steps away from registration'. So, I assumed I had not registered. I did not go to the site and cancel my registration, because they TOLD me that I was NOT registered.
Soon after, they took $316 dollars from my account.
No reply yet to my requests for a refund.
I am devastated. As a teacher, my salary is modest. But I care about my job, which is why I wanted to trial a new tool to see if it made my resources any better for the students.
That amount of money is massive for me. It's only a few weeks until Christmas and I have a family.
Do not use this company. It feels like a scam to legally (just) justify getting a year's worth subscription out of people by subterfuge.
So, so disappointed.

Teachers Beware: $255 Gone, No Help

I received a free trial for this membership. I tested a couple of their products and they were substandard at best and wildly overpriced. The full membership renewal was C$255 for the year, which I had planned to cancel before it renewed. I missed it by one day.

I never used the service beyond the first five minutes of the free trial, yet my card was immediately charged. I reached out as soon as I got the renewal email. After waiting, I received a generic form response from someone who didn’t seem to understand that $255 is a lot of money, especially for a teacher who already spends a huge amount of personal money on classroom supplies. Every dollar matters.

Because I missed the cancellation deadline by a single day, I was told I had zero refund options. It took several emails just to get them to offer a 30 percent refund, which is still unacceptable. It has now been over a week of trying to resolve this, and all I’ve met is a refusal to process a full refund. This isn’t customer service, and it definitely doesn’t build loyalty.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this company. Their refund policies are unfair, their customer service is dismissive, and their product quality doesn’t justify the cost in the first place.
