Excellent company, great service, unique products you can't simply get anywhere else domestically. Ordered a new SD1000 which sadly arrived DOA. Called AJ for support who valiantly tried troubleshooting it remotely, unfortunately to no avail. Sent it back and got a replacement unit within days. Highly recommended!

My purchase of the Ketron EVM from Ketron America (aka AjamSonic, Inc.) had a number of issues. I ordered the EVM via the Ketron America website on August 13, 2025. I did not receive any email confirmation of the order, and when I saw the credit card charge went from pending to active, I emailed A.J. directly. He responded that the EVM order had been placed with Italy, but that Italy was closed for all of August and would not reopen until early September. Thus began a series of delays that lasted until I finally received the Ketron EVM on Monday, December 29, 2025 — four months after I had paid for it in full. It turned out that the Ketron EVM had been shipped from Italy by boat, had been held up in customs for 2-3 weeks, and finally had been delayed in shipping at Ketron America due to the Christmas rush.

I spoke at length with A.J. about the delays, and he appears to have absolutely no support from Ketron Italy. This includes no line of credit with Ketron Italy, no ability to order and request shipment by air, no promotional support by Ketron Italy, etc. In summary, Ketron Italy appears to have utterly no interest in the U.S. market for their products. I wrote Ketron Italy repeating these statements to them, and I have never received a reply.

Let me close by emphasizing that since I have had my Ketron EVM, A.J. has been outstanding in providing service and support. I have texted him numerous questions and always received a detailed response within a matter of hours. A.J. knows and understands Ketron products thoroughly, and he and his videos have contributed enormously to my understanding and pleasure in playing the EVM. I should also add that A.J. loaded my EVM with several extras as a result of my long wait to receive the product, and this was most appreciated.

Bottom line, the Ketron EVM (and the entire Ketron Event series) in my opinion are superior for reasons stated in my review of Ketron It. to both Yamaha and Korg arranger keyboards, although both of the latter are fine keyboards. It is a shame that Ketron Italy has so little interest in the U.S. market and provides little or no support to its U.S. distributor, Ketron America.

I didn't know about AjamSonic's services but it was a very positive surprise when I decided to do business with him.
1 - Fast and assertive service.
2 - Attentive and well-informed, taking care of the customer's needs so that they can acquire what they really need.
3 - It's by far the best price (and attention I searched all over Europe before finding AjamSonic)
4 - Permanent customer support. One of my orders (to Portugal) had difficulties at customs, but with the quick help of AjamSonic, everything was resolved.

AJ serviced my Audya4 with upgrades . He has the best knowledge on Ketron systems and hardware.. The service was fast and the arranger works better than new. AJ provided excellent service by phone on my SD40. He emailed OS updates and helped with the install. He made the update process easy. I would highly recommend Ajamsonic (AJ) . I purchased a KETRON SD90 here in Europe. The service was nonexistent and so we decided to take a risk and purchase from the USA. Little did we know we would be dealing with our 'name sake' - AJ on the other side of the pond. Great service, after sale product support and always there to help, advise and even create content for us for free. Nowhere else did we ever experience such.

I have read so many reviews with regards to Ajamsonic sound, and AJ himself, mostly all positive, I say mostly because there are a few negative reviews dashed across the Web, up front totally honest, and I will say it as I see it, this is the holy grail on sound you will ever come across, the saying, you pay for what you get, is very true, if Aj wanted to change double what he's charging now, I would still purchase, as for Aj the man himself, comes across to me as an absolute gentleman, and I do not know how anyone could speak negatively of him, every mail request I sent and still to this day he replies, I'm only a number in among all his customers, and still, he will reply to me and advise and help in any way he can,
so if I could give Aj 10 stars I certainly would, don't take my word, try for yourself, this product and service is out of this world amazing, and I will not ever change from Ketron, cause I know I have AJ to lean on, he is not the kind of business man to sell his products and not stand over, from listening to negativity and reading negative reviews, I was nearly turned off, this was indeed the best investment I have made, and it don't stop there, constantly updating to be better, but really right now, you certainly won't go wrong with Aj & Ajamsonic👏
