Aj is a fantastic trainer. He's intuitive and pays attention and communicates well -- while also knowing when to turn up the heat, and drive you to get results. I have trained with him for specific strength and high intensity interval training goals and he has more than met my expectations over the last many months. Great Trainer that Keeps You on Your Toes!
Overview - Aj is a superb trainer and an overall stand up guy that does a great job of tailoring your fitness plan to your short, medium, and/or long term goals and then holding you accountable to them.
Full review - I am an avid health and fitness enthusiast and have been working with him for a couple years now. I never thought I needed a trainer but I’ve never been more wrong, Aj does a great job of shaking things up and introducing new exercises that I never would have come up with on my own.
The thing that most impresses me about Aj is his ability to take feedback in real time and adjust the rest of the workout accordingly. Example: I dinged up my hip the day before one of our sessions and didn’t tell him till we were in the session, he threw his whole plan out for the day and we worked around the injury and then spent some time mobilizing it at the end.
All of our sessions have been over FaceTime, which I was initially skeptical about, specifically regarding proper form. Aj does an awesome job of talking you through the exercise, demonstrating it on his end, and then communicating with you through the whole set to make sure you’re keeping to form. Side note: This forum (FaceTime) also allowed us not to skip a beat when the pandemic hit, which has been great!
Over the couple years I have worked with him, my goals have shifted multiple times. I want to call out one specifically, because I think it speaks to the diverse types of training experience Aj can provide. Normally my fitness goals have always focused around some variation of stronger, faster, leaner; but last year I tore my ACL playing basketball and was faced with the typical 8-12 month rehab. While I also attended prescribed physical therapy, I kept up my sessions with Aj. Seven months later I ran my first half marathon. There are a lot of parties to thank for that of course, but Aj’s guidance, positivity, and dynamic and progressive workouts are near the top of the list.
If you’ve made it this far in the review than I hope I’ve convinced you to try a workout with Aj, definitely is worth your time!
One last note: his name is pronounced like the “aj” in Taj Mahal. I called him the wrong name for quite some time and he was too good of guy to correct me!

Ajile Health & Fitness is a great company to train with. AJ who runs the company, educates you a lot so you know the benefits of the different types of training he puts you through and the reasons why they will achieve your goals. He is also really easy to build a rapport with so it feels as if your are training with a friend rather than just a business transaction. His expertise and knowledge spreads to many areas, and I look forward to continuing my journey as well as learning more from him, and I’m sure you will too.

A professional PT service, AJILE has a non generic approach to better health & fitness.
Aj the PT taught me an incredible amount about the body, mind, food and muscle groups. He took into account my medical history and tailored a plan that suited me. I could say for the first time ever, these workouts were right for me.
Other personal trainers in the past, lacked in the ability to cater to the individual. I sustained many injuries this way. Injuries that stopped me from training and making me dread sessions, because it wasn’t enjoyable. I had been doing very repetitive workouts for months. But with AJILE my workouts varied so my body wasn’t getting too used to one thing and not gaining results.
I was excited about all of my sessions and what I was going to learn next! Aj helped to ease pain and heal previous injuries. He helped me get a better understanding of my own body and medical conditions, which helped me to be mindful when choosing foods and the work I put in. Aj is the first trainer I’ve come across who has great dedication for his work, has incredible knowledge, and also uses a holistic approach too. He is consistent with the attention he puts into workouts and making sure you are doing everything correctly.
Instead of shouting at me (haha)he taught me why it’s important to do things a certain way, which sticks with you.

I have always tried to stay in excellent shape but work and injuries have gotten in the way. It was time to get back on track. Being in international business I asked some of my most fit and prominent colleagues how they do it and AJ’s name came up more than once. One recommendation came from a guy that is very influential in the government and partially owns a professional sports team; hence I thought AJ was worth the call. I’m glad I did. What an amazing talented guy…patient, sincere and excellent in what he does. I’m dealing with a partially torn rotator cuff and now my Physical Therapist was so impressed with my workout that he is starting to incorporate some of AJ’s training into his practice. I’m in the US and wish I was in the UK to get local 1:1 training but live Zoom is the next best thing, but I will definitely stop in when I’m in town on business (whenever that is after Covid-19). Like I said “the best of the best”!

Very professional and quick observer, who can put you in right direction in no time and you will get quick results. Great Mobile Personal Trainer
I honestly can’t recommend Ajile enough, Aj is a great trainer - really professional and motivational. I have never used a personal trainer before but I am really pleased with my progress and results, and have been having sessions at home which fit perfectly around my busy schedule.

He’s really knowledgeable about the body and how different exercises and movements lead to results which along with his nutritional guidance have been a real eye opener and made a massive difference to the way I look and feel.
Working at a computer all day has caused me to have bad posture and back pain but this is pretty much sorted now and my stomach and waist are already reduced! I feel so much better and lighter in every way and I’ve not been able to achieve this with other trainers in the past.
With the current self isolation situation, I thought I wouldn’t be able to train which was upsetting me as I thought all my work would be undone and I actually missed training with Aj but he does live online sessions where I’ve been able to continue training with him 1-1.
This has been amazing as I’ve still got a way to go with my body goals so I’m really glad to have the online sessions and excited to see more positive changes with my health and fitness.
