A J Taylor have installed a new inverter, optimisers and bird netting on my solar panels. They kept me informed of the installation date, got it all completed in a day and were tidy and professional. The new inverter login came a couple of days later. Just waiting for the Powerwall now, due in the autumn. Been very pleased to date.

Excellent service: arrived promptly as arranged, electrician friendly, efficient and thorough (I had a bit of a mystery problem with electricity in part of the house). Definitely recommend. :)

The job took much longer than expected. It would be preferable to check more accessible fault sites before pulling out heavy wardrobes and checking power points behind them that were not faulty - this added to the length of the job, and therefore the cost to us. Nice guys but wouldn't use this company again for this reason.

Excellent service after storm damage to my solar panel cradles. the engineer explained what he had done and everything was fixed in one visit.

AJ Taylor undertook a domestic solar PV installation for us. From quote to completion every communication and interaction have been professional and timely. The site team left no mess and all the controls were installed neatly and to our expectations.

We have already commissioned AJ Taylor to add a Tesla Powerwall to the system to allow us to use the excess solar energy we make in the day after the sun sets.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again and already have given their details to a colleague who is looking to add solar PV.

The gas engineer was very responsive, professional and quick. He came the next day, on time, and did a thorough and great job. Highly recommended and I’ll be using them again without hesitation.

We built a new house during the pandemic which has 33 solar pannels and 2 Tessla house batteries. Andy supported us throughout the drawn out process as we needed special permission to have an installation of this size. Permission that needed to be extended several times due to pandemic delays that Andy happily took care of for us. The installation was trouble free as it has been since.
We had power cuts several times since the installation, including during the current storms, but thanks to the batteries we have always had power to run the all electric house.

As I type we are currently selling power back to the grid and, over the course of a year, will be energy positive (i.e. generate more power than we use).

AJ Taylor carried out an EICR check and fitted a new consumer unit in my rental property. I was really impressed with their service throughout.

Just had Reece visit us from AJT and he was excellent. Tidy and professional and I will be asking for him again for all things electric.

I recently used A.J Taylor to carry out an Air Con install at one of our NHS sites to improve our buildings energy efficiency. Given the extremely tight deadline the team worked extremely hard over the course of a weekend to ensure everything was completed in time. The work was to a very high standard and our staff on site are very pleased with how the works turned out.

Will definitely be using them again in the future!

AJ Taylor supplied and fitted an Air Con unit to our loft conversion. They were very knowledgeable and made sure that we were happy with the result.

Attended an emergency call out on a Saturday morning after electrics tripped repeatedly in a tenanted property. Quickly established the cause of the issue and isolated the appliance so I could arrange its repair/replacement.

I needed help with my solar panels after the installers had ceased trading. The manufacturers recommended some local maintenance contractors. I contacted A.J. Taylor, they were extremely efficient, very clear in their charging structure and the engineer who arrived (as agreed) was extremely competent: identified and rectified the issue in no time at all. He was smartly dressed and extremely professional.

My solar PV system stop working consistently. it required two visits to resolve. The first to confirm it wasn't an investor fault. The second visit followed on from me recording days when the system failed to work and confirmed it was a wet weather related problem. The electrician checked the wiring connections behind the panels and found one which was letting water in. He replaced this and the system started working again once it was switched back on. It's now been working fault free for several weeks so definitely a job well done.

The people I spoke to in the office were really helpful before each of the visits and the electrician who came was engaging and explained how the system operated, why it was probably a wiring fault, and what he had repaired.

The most important thing for me was that the electrician and the company were honest with me. It's a complex electrical system and it would have been very easy to convince me to replace the invertor at great expense as well as needing additional work on the wiring. At no time did I feel I was being take advantage of because of my lack of knowledge.

I had expected a huge repair bill but in the end it was just a few hours work. Really pleased with the outcome and would definitely use AJ Taylor for any other electrical work.

Outstanding firm. We had a charger for our car and powerwall fitted the workmen were friendly and really knew there stuff. We had two small issues spoke to Ashley in the office he was really helpful again. 20min later the owner of the firm called me back to settle any dispute and gave us his personal number if we had any more questions. Great firm great staff and a great price🙏
