One of the most impractical and disappointing return experiences I’ve had.

I ordered from A Kind of Guise and was honestly shocked by how inconvenient and expensive the return process is. The item was shipped from Germany to Denmark with FedEx, but returning it is extremely impractical, with very few drop-off options available. In my case, I would have to travel over an hour just to hand in the package.

On top of that, the return costs €15, and I still have to print the label myself. For a brand at this price level, that is just not acceptable. The whole process feels outdated, unnecessarily difficult, and very customer-unfriendly.

The product itself was also disappointing. The shorts were advertised as 100% virgin wool, but the material felt flimsy, cheap, and nothing like what I expected from a premium brand.

Overall, the experience felt shoddy, inconvenient, and far below the standard they present themselves as having. I would not recommend ordering from A Kind of Guise, especially if there is any chance you might need to return something.

I ordered an incense smoker from them that arrived broken. I contacted them by phone and they offered a 50% refund to keep the item and fix it myself. I said I’d think about it and followed up with them the following business day, confirming the refund. I wrote them by email to provide my bank account number for refund, and their response was that I had somehow misunderstood 15% for 50% (about 3 or 4 times during our calls). I don’t know, I guess that’s possible and understandable in some way, but who would imagine a measly 15% refund on a defective product? Who would take that on a 140€ item? I’ve already spent more money then they are offering on having the item fixed correctly. A very expensive “misunderstanding” indeed. They’ve left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t think I’ll be shopping with them again.

I've been shopping at AKOG for years. They've gone thought many changes and updates in their online and offline retail. It always gets better and better.

I had an issue with an order due to a manufacturer flaw. AKOG made it right, I made a return to their location in Berlin and they sent me a new order immediately.

Please be careful when ordering with this company, I ordered a coat to the U.K. and it didn’t fit so I returned the item/parcel. The parcel has tried to be delivered/returned to AKOG however they were not present to collect the parcel and now the parcel is stuck at the depot. AKOG are holding my money and wont process the refund but also wont collect the item and/or reschedule delivery of the returned item. I am completely stuck and they are holding my money. Poor customer service
