I purchased the Mysa Bed (2022) with Frame-Mounted Headboard in September 2022. I was choosing between this and the Thuma bed and TatamiRoom beds. I liked the color and wood of Akron Street (solid oak) best, and it looks great in person. The assembly was straightforward, but definitely not as good as the other two which do not require any screws.
Note that the beds ship in two boxes (in addition to the headboard box, if ordered). The system only shows one tracking number, and for whatever reason the second box shipped and arrived a day later for me. It was still within advertised two days but a little confusing since I thought "box 1 of 2" referred to the headboard box and didn't know to wait for another one until I had already opened them. All shipments are FedEx Ground from Knoxville, TN, so use that to calculate the estimated deliver plus 1-2 days shipment.
The company is definitely legit and is reachable by email, though there is no phone. I like the style and would consider purchasing again. In particular, I have my eye on their Tenon tables and the Alta clothes rack. I would like to get the marching nightstand, but it is a bit expensive for me.
This was my first time buying furniture outside of Target, and I think this brand does a good job of bringing real design at an apartment-friendly price point. The wood is all solid oak except the slats and the inner piece they screw into, which are pine iirc.
There is absolutely no plywood or MDF used in this product, which was a major selling point for me. I don't know much about furniture as this is my first time living in an unfurnished apartment, but I feel that this will ensure that I can transport and use the pieces many times in the future.
I do think the headboard is a bit short for my 11.5" mattress (you could make a longer metal piece to change this if you are handy), and it seems to flex easily if the bed is not all the way against the wall. Other than that, the bed is quite sturdy and has not made any noises so far. Sadly, I have not yet had the opportunity to try anything beyond sleeping, so I can't promise anything on that front one way or the other.
