I got to know about this hospital through a friend but I also went a head and did my own research just for my peace of mind . From the consultation to the surgery date everything was very straightforward, no hidden fees and nothing felt dodgy at all . I was picked up at the airport upon arrival though the driver was abit late which was kind of a turn off to me and I started to panic . But once the driver arrived everything aligned in order to. I arrived at the hospital the nurse took my bloods and obs. The next day in the morning I met with my surgeon for preps and we headed to the surgery. Dr UMRAN MUSLU is very caring ,and he is very good at what he does Masha’allah .i would highly recommend him for anyone that is in need of building there body confidence back. he checked on me every morning to make sure that am fine. All the nurses were very kind and caring and they made sure I did not have to feel any pain .so they kept my pain medication in check . The house keeping ladies were so lovely I wish I could remember there names . They kept the whole place clean and each time the popped in my room they had there smiles on which made me feel more safe . AYŞE this lady is very amazing when I arrived at the airport and the driver was not there I contacted her right away and she kept on updating me and giving me assurance that everything is going to be okay . She kept popping by the hospital to check on me and still give me assurance which really made me feel safe . Being in turkey meant communication issues but Ayşe was always there to translate for me .am looking forward to coming back in the future for more treatment and I would highly recommend this hospital . The only problem I encountered was the nurse call bell it kept going on and off . Several occasions I needed help to get up and go to the toilet with my hand attached to the ivf drip but the bell was not working so I had to struggle get up and one hand is holding the drains and the other hand clipped on the drip pushing the drip stand that was not safe at all . I reported this 3 times but they didn’t change it but rather only gave it a while and it would for sure work again but after a while it’s off again . The food was not too bad but most of the times it was cold which I felt wasn’t really a good thing . But overall the hospital is very good, all the staff are very kind and caring and most of the time you ask for something they respond very fast . The reason am giving 4star is because of the call bell that freaked me out a lot thinking what if it’s an emergency you know . And I read someone also reviewed about the bell I thought it should be sorted out by now .

Very modern and very clean hospital facilities and appliances at the cutting edge of technology, nickel room with all necessary comfort, television, heating and air conditioning, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, staff and nurses (nurse Selma and the other nurses) are always available, very professional and with a little care, always with the smile, kindness and homour sometimes, they are adorable and wonderful people!!
Doctor Perçin SERHAT YERGIN is very very friendly, very caring, professional, very competent and reassuring, he put me at ease right away and explained the entire procedure from A to Z, I was very confident for the continuation of the procedure, the best surgeon ever!
I am delighted to have spent 4 days in their company in Istanbul!! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! 😘😘😘😘

They save my life, i was passing a hard situation due to gallbladder stones, the found out the root of the problem and gave the fast solution, all the staff are kind and careful about each patient, I'm so grateful, I recommend them 100%

The hospital and staff was brillant. I had a great surgeon, great after care.

A lot of the stuff did not speak English, my nurse Bell did not ring so for two days I suffered by having to try and get up and get it over to the nurses station for painkillers. Finally, the food was absolutely diabolical. I literally had bread and butter the whole time the only good thing was Sema the translator but wasn’t there every day and Farooq who helped in getting everything set up.

After going to a clinic that I was not happy with I called AKTIF and they where only to happy to help me . My experience was one of comfort and I felt safe being in the hands of aras and sema with their excellent English and a job only to make me feel happy and understand all that was happening. The drivers were there each morning and I had no worries of getting from place to place . I can only speak highly of the two that help me through my journey.

Good job everything went smooth very nice doctor and staff is nice caring i had a great time in their care . Customer service was excellent . Vip services was top of the line . The doctor is very good he speaks english that was a plus for me im very happy with this doctor and his team .. sept 19th 2025 was the best day of my life.

My experience at Aktif Clinic for my gynaecomastia and liposuction procedures was excellent, largely thanks to the outstanding care provided by Dr. Ozan Can Canbolat. He was incredibly attentive, checking on me almost every day to monitor my status and ensure my recovery was on track. I highly recommend him to anyone considering these procedures.

The entire staff, including Sema, Aras, the manager, also deserves high praise. Being new to the area, my wife and I faced language barriers, but they went out of their way to guide us through the entire process. Their dedication and effort to ensure we were well taken care of were truly exceptional.

I would give a 4.5 and over if the experience with the nurse had been different.

After my gynaecomastia and liposuction procedures, I found the nursing care to be a source of frustration. Despite having to be told several times, the nurses often didn't seem to understand the overall intention of our needs, and we constantly had to request a translator to bridge the communication gap. A simple request for an update on breakfast was met with a complete lack of interest in the reason for the delay. This lack of communication and slow response was particularly concerning, as it made the initial recovery period more difficult than it needed to be.

The surgery did not go as expected, the abdominoplasty left a lot of excess skin and left hanging "dog ears" on the edges of my stomach.

The surgery was a long-time dream of mine and I had been saving up for a long time so I could travel to Turkey. Now I have to have another surgery.

The tour operator informed me that the appearance of my abdomen may still change over time and that the excess, unremoved skin might eventually smooth out. However, the result is currently quite unsatisfactory, my abdomen looks unattractive, and there are sagging folds of skin hanging from my sides.

I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Burak dikmen who was very nice. But only got to see him few min before surgery at consultation and then he visited me after surgery just to ask how i was. My stay at hospital was fine just got checked on for blood pressure and drip. Nurses did not bother otherwise. 4 stars because there should be more involvement of doctor and nurses. Buket and sema were lovely. Sema checked on me all the time to see if everything was fine and helped with things. Its only been 1 week post op so cant say much about nose apart from when doctor (not my surgeon) changed my cast I saw that there was improvement but swelling. So yeh too soon yet. But I know it will be good. Also i would like to thank Emy my first contact person who provided me with all the information i needed about the doctor and operation. I would defo come back if I needed any other procedures. Thank you all.

I wanna share my feedback about this hospital , I made check up and nose operation with Dr Percin, I read the feedback about the reviews and I was scared , then honestly everything was perfectly arranged , there no lies , they took care of me and I am very satisfied about thier work . Big respect

I travelled from Ireland with my husband to have surgeries in the Actif International hospital. From start to finish we could not have asked for better service. They looked after all details so we did not have to worry about a thing.We had to bring our toddler and the staff, especially bucket treated us like family.We were just blown away with the unbelievable care.I had a full muscle repair, 360 lipo,tummy tuck and bbl with doctor Ozan Can Canbolat .My results are amazing, im so happy. Our whole experience with Actif International hospital has been outstanding and I especially want to give a big thank you to bucket who made our whole trip worth it.

I travelled from the US for surgery here at Aktif international hospital. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have been treated amazingly, my interpreter Sema is hands down the best. Always available for information or just to check on me. And my surgeon Dr Umran Muslu is great. Took great care of me and is just a kind person to talk to and ask questions from. And his skill level is top notch. I would suggest anyone should come here for their procedures !

I had a surgery tipoplasty and liposuction high definition belly and thigh with the Doctor Ozan Can Canbolat, who is high graduated and very professional. His close team , translator and manager of the medical service have been really kind and helpful during my stay.

From the moment I reached out to Aktif International Hospital for my gastric sleeve, the reception was warm and everyone i had contact with were friendly and willing to assist. I met the lovely Sema who made my life easy and assisted with translating my requests. Gratefully, the surgery went well all thanks to Dr Ibrahim and I am on the road to recovery.

I recommend Aktif hospital 100% from communication over WhatsApp to airport pick up they have been amazing very supportive and understanding

We arrived at the airport, where the driver was already waiting for us. The transfer between the airport, hospital, and hotel was well-organized, which made the process smoother. At the hospital, Buket welcomed us warmly, and she was very kind and helpful throughout. They brought my partner and me to our room and conducted some tests.

The first discomfort I experienced was that the nurses took blood samples without wearing gloves, which made me uneasy. I also mentioned multiple times that I was bringing my partner with me, and they assured me it wouldn’t be an issue—we would get either a double bed or two beds. However, when we arrived, my poor partner had to sleep on a small couch for four nights, which was disappointing.

The next day, I had to wait all day for my surgery with a cannula inserted since the morning. However, the surgery itself went well—Dr. Burak sent me pictures, and it looks like he did a great job. I felt confident in his work and was satisfied with the surgical outcome.

That said, I found the hospital itself to be quite unprofessional. The translator barely understood English (and it's called an international hospital), which led to a mistake in explaining how to take my medication. I had to translate the instructions myself to ensure I was following them correctly. The night after surgery, the nurses barely checked on me—I always had to get the ice myself, ask for a new dressing, or rely on my partner. Before arriving, I was told there would be an English-speaking night nurse on every floor, but that was not the case. Communication was extremely challenging, which only worsened my anxiety, as I felt I wasn’t being properly cared for.

It often felt like they treated patients as numbers—just come, get surgery, and leave. I was also uncomfortable with how early they removed the cast after surgery. Before my trip, I repeatedly asked my coordinator if seven nights would be enough for a safe recovery and flight back. She reassured me that it would be, but in the end, they told me it wasn’t enough, so they kept the hard cast on for another 10 days.

I also had to repeatedly ask them to change my dressing; otherwise, it would have been left unchanged. When I requested extra dressing to take to the hotel after discharge, they still didn't give it to me, which was frustrating.

Another frustrating experience was with the translator, Sema. She insisted that I write a review immediately while I was still recovering and even said she had to take a picture of it. I told her I would do it later when I arrived at my hotel, but she kept pushing. This was extremely unprofessional and a horrible way to treat a patient who had just undergone surgery.

On the positive side, some of the staff members were kind and tried their best to help, even though the communication barrier made things difficult. The hotel we stayed in was very comfortable, which made recovery a bit easier.

At this point, I’m just hoping my nose heals properly and that Dr. Burak’s work gives me the results I wanted. While I don’t fully trust the hospital, I do trust my surgeon and remain optimistic about my final outcome.
