Fantasic

We booked this hotel through TUI. Upon arriving there were a few guests also checking in. as we waited we were offered a glass of wine which I thought was a nice touch. We checked in and told where to find our room. The room could be classed as on the small size but honestly we didnt spend that much time there, so it really didnt matter.
The food for lunch and dinner was different every day and didnt get repeated in the 7 days we were there - Except the standard Pizza, fries, salads.
The staff went above and beyond and nothing was too much hassle and they always had a smile on their face. The facilities were great, could tell it had only opened a week or so before we arrived for the season, yet everything was functional. I dont feel like we missed out on anything, being so early in the season.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Akti Imperial Rhodes

Akti Imperial Rhodes. Had a fantastic time. Went on all inclusive with Tui. The hotel is excellent and I couldn't fault the food, the variety is amazing. I would definitely recommend a stay at this resort.

5 star Hotel? More like 3 star

This hotel is supposed to be a 5 star. But I personally think the rooms let it down. The staff were good on reception when not ignoring you. The 1st floor and surrounding areas were clean and tidy. Nice touch with jewellery shops installed within the hotel giving personal touches to your own collection or making great gifts. Toilets could do with a refurb (men's) doors didn't lock on a lot of the toilets including those by the pool where the glass doors had also dropped and were dragging along the floor. I was told the women's toilets were the same. All the sun beds were broke so you fall back all of the time if not careful. The pool itself was clean and the bar area was setup good with plenty of drinks and snacks available. Staff in there were also friendly. The entertainment was a bit mediocre but had something for everyone of all nations. Can get annoying in the day if you want to relax by the pool as they had repetitive beat type music playing over and over again. We enjoyed the choice of food available so no complaints there. We used one of the fancy restaurants and chose Italian which was very nice. Had a choice of Greek, Asian and Italian. Going back to the rooms we paid the extra 700 euros for a family room which was located in the annexe. If you are in this building don't expect any kind of nice view. Looking at the picture on Jet2 do not really tie up with what you get. We was expecting a balcony each per room yet we had one very small balcony off the main room and in the bedroom on its own had a frosted glass window where staff constantly passed by so not very private. We had a view of a carpark and could just abouy see the sea and mountains in the distance. My mom and step dad were on the same holiday and their room was worse. Classed as a smiler room (basic) so they had a view of a canopy. So in a sense you don't get what you pay for as we paid the extra 700 euros as previously stated so not really worth it at all. In the room the toilet button were scratched and looked tacky. There were stains around the sink. The key fob holder was hanging off the wall. The curtain was broke and hanging off one corner. There were pen marks likely from a child on the lamp shades and lots of dust. There are no locks on the doors in the annexe. If someone wants to come in they only knock once and open the door and just walk in so make sure you are in a private area when changing. You get the 2 beers a wine 2 pops and 2 waters per day or whatever you drink in a day located in the fridge. There is a kettle to use and you can grab coffee tea and sugar from downstairs. There is an on site shop or walk out of the hotel to grab some milk. If course you can go all the way down to get a tea and coffee from the bar etc but it's a bit of a trek especially when you are on the 3rd floor as we was. It was quiet at night and we managed to sleep well. Beds seemed OK but a family of 3 there was no bed set up for my daughter the first night. We had 4 pillows of which I gave my daughter one to use and had to go and get sheets to make up a bed for her. Not greta really when you've paid to sleep 3 people. It was early hours of the morning when we arrived too so would have been nice to just get into bed without any hassle. The staff seemed to be confused initially but we got sorted in the end. Expect stains on everything which won't be removed for your visit. We asked for extra sheets to put over the extra settee beds as they were too grubby. The cleaners did and ok job and there was only one day where they left us no toilet paper but there is a dispenser of small tissue paper you can use just in case. Would I go back to this hotel? Probably not. If you want to be close to Rhodes Town then this is probably not ideal. They do run a service which is 8 euros return I each per adult (oh and 14 years old is an adult over here lol). You can choose the times to pick you up and drop you off. The bus is just as expensive. We walked the one day and it took an hour each way.

Unfriendly and Aggressive Staff…

Unfriendly and Aggressive Staff Overshadow Lovely Hotel

The hotel boasts a lovely setting with a prime sea-front location, just 19 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Rhodes Town. However, our experience was significantly marred by the conduct of the staff.

The hotel staff were extremely rude and aggressive throughout our stay. The maids did not meet basic cleanliness standards, neglecting to change used glasses. Additionally, the employees responsible for restocking the fridge displayed unacceptable behavior, refusing a simple request for a bottle of water and then shouting at us in an unfriendly manner.

The restaurant staff, many of whom were from Albania and Romania, lacked customer service skills. An incident involving my unwell daughter highlighted this issue. After my daughter vomited, I sought assistance to dispose of the soiled paper towels. The staff's response was not only unhelpful but also aggressive. When the manager intervened, the situation escalated, with the staff member pointing at me aggressively and speaking in a foreign language.

It was evident that many of the staff worked out of obligation rather than passion, resulting in a lack of professionalism and customer care. While the hotel's location and facilities were commendable, the unprofessional and hostile attitude of the staff made our stay unpleasant.
