Their website is designed to scam you.

Their website is designed to scam you.
They pretend to offer some on-board credit if you pay more when you book but then, get nothing.
When you call them, they say : « it’s written « up to xx dollars » so could be 0 ».
I have asked to escalate to manager, they promised to call me back within 2 days and never did.
Every person on the phone is from different companies (sometime icruise, sometime arrivia).
Big mess. You shouldn’t order from them.

Hidden Charges

This company is the worst I have experienced in a LONG time. After booking a cruise for my parents and receiving a receipt saying that the cruise was paid in full, they came back months later and said that we owed an additional ~$257. When I called to ask them about it they said it was for gratuities, which didn't make sense since my receipt also said that prepaid gratuities were included. I, as most people do, searched around quite extensively to get a reasonable price for my parents cruise since they are on a fixed income. These hidden charges are ridiculous and unethical. I should not have a receipt that says "paid in full" if there are still outstanding charges and I also shouldn't have a receipt that says "prepaid gratuities included" if that is not the case. I would have expected somewhere on the receipt to state that there was a balance pending and when that amount was due. If I knew that there was a balance due I would have booked their cruise directly through the cruise line themselves since the cost would have been comparable. In the long run my parents ended up paying MORE than what they would have paid going directly through the cruise line. I do not recommend their service. In fact, I highly discourage it. In my opinion they are not honest or upfront with their prices or their services!

UPDATE: The company reached out to remedy the issue, apologize for the confusion and were able to add my original credits to my account.

This company goes by AlaskaCruises.com and also icruise.com and their parent company goes by both Arrivia and WMPH. I booked my first cruise with this company and immediately had problems that lasted over 9 months. I had to call every other week for that entire 9 month period because they put several free packages on my receipt but then refused to honor the receipt. I was told on 5 different occasions that the issue was a technical glitch on their end and that a supervisor would fix it and call me to let me know. No one ever called me. All 5 times it was a lie to get me off the phone. I am still missing my free drink package free gratuities and free Wi-Fi along with a $200 on board credit. All of these items are listed very clearly on my receipt and were the reason I purchased the package but the company is refusing to give any of them to me. I believe this is a legitimate scam that they are running to get people to sign up; please look at other reviews that are very similar. It appears as though they get you to sign up and promise things on your receipt but then just hope you get exhausted and stop calling. Today I asked for another supervisor and was flat out denied by the call center worker who said that a supervisor was not going to talk to me.

Do not use this website/service

I suspect this website is a scam. At first I was excited to find a cruise to Alaska for such a good price but that excited feeling didn't last long.
I was called by a representative and when I told him that I couldn't book something right away because I didn't have the time off work approved yet, he became aggressively pushy. Threatening that prices had gone up while we were on the phone, etc.
After I hung up on him I had three other representatives call-pressuring me to purchase a cruise with them.
I felt very uncomfortable with this behavior. I called Holland Cruise lines directly and they were able to get me a better room for less money.
Cruise booked! I am so glad I did not book with alaskacruises.com.
I am still getting phone calls from these people even after I emailed them explaining my disappointment with their business. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.
My suggestion to you is to do your homework and research before these vultures steal your money.
The representative I spoke with (that you should avoid at all costs) is named Sanjay- ext: 69843

I am surprised that our agent could not assist you with your booking as we can usually hold a cruise booking with a simple deposit, albeit sometimes non-refundable (per the cruise line restrictions). Incompetent Travel Agency

Some of the travel agents are very incompetent, not knowing what they can do for customers and not carrying out undertakings they promise to complete. There are other agents who are efficient and apologize for errors others made and rectify the situation. Sometimes they keep you on hold on the phone for an extended period of time while they attempt to process sales they finally say that they are not allowed to process. Payments sometimes do not show on their statements, but are later corrected. I was asked to check off "declined" for purchases already made. I suspect that they have a poor software program to work with, which exacerbates the booking process.

I’m thinking this web site is a scam

I’m thinking this web site is a scam. I was trying to book a cruise through the cruise line and ended up using this web site. I think it’s a scam. No one answers the phone I’ve been on hold three different times for close to an hour without ever talking to anyone. The cruise line won’t talk to me because they say I have to go through whoever I booked the cruise through. AVOID THIS WEBSITE.

Customer Service is non-existent

Tried to book on line but it was complicated and I had questions. They have an 800 number but it just goes to a long phone tree and I waited nearly 30 minutes before hanging up out of frustration. I couldn’t find an email. The “deals” aren’t really as presented. It’s basically a bait and switch. You’d be better off to go directly through the cruise line. The prices appear to be more on the cruise line sites but they actually aren’t, they’re just upfront about all the extras.

Robin Sherin has been working with us…

Robin Sherin has been working with us for nine months on our Alaska cruise. The amazing thing is that she has stuck with us and the cruise company in a very turbulent time. Through all of the ups and downs of 2020 she has worked to get us the adventure we have dreamed about. We are hoping that the cruise will come to fruition next spring. What ever happens I know that she and Alaska Cruises.com will be working to place us in Alaska when it finally opens again.

Was an easy site to use

Was an easy site to use. It gives you all information you need plus some. Received a follow up call after visiting site. The gentleman was for nice when we spoke.
Only thing i would change is the online chat icon. It kept popping up asking if I wanted to chat with someone. After you say no, it should stop doing that.

Alaska 2021 Cruiaetoir

Our 2020 Alaska cruisetour was cancelled due to Covid...we re-booked for 2021 but was unable to get the same great rate that we had!!! 😡😡😡 we are paying around $1,000 more in total for the same exact cruise!

Wonderful experience booking with Maggie

Maggie is such a nice person while at the same time being professional. She helped us book 3 rooms together. Maggie explains options for us and her excitement in telling us about the cruise made us want to go yesterday!

Great service

Great service, and my agent Leanne was the best! She was knowledgeable, professional and friendly all wrapped-up in one!
