Dimity did an excellent job of interviewing my mother for her audio story. My siblings provided some backstories and timelines of mum's life, and she had obviously studies these in good details and was able to guide mum in her conversation.
I also appreciate the editing efforts A Lasting Tale provides. Putting together a story that flows so well. I am so glad we did this.

Our mother's audio history is something we have all listened to multiple times now! I must say I learned some things I didn't know too. I love the fact that my children have been able to listen to stories about all aspects of their grandmother's life and will have it to share with their own children one day. My one regret is that we didn't take this opportunity for my father before he passed away! It's one thing to have a record of our loved one's lives, but it's quite another thing to be able to hear their voice as well, even years after they have left us. My advice is don't delay - get on the case and book your Lasting Tale life story for your loved ones before you no longer have the opportunity. In fact, it would also be amazing to do A Lasting Tale at the other end and capture your children's views on the world that they could listen to years from now when they've grown old?! We are very grateful to Dimity, interviewer Emma and all the team at A Lasting Tale for making this special gift a reality.

Wonderful experience for both interviewee and listener

Dimity and the team created a warm environment for my parents to share their life stories, learnings and pieces of advice. My parents found the whole experience a wonderful opportunity for reflection and connection to generations to come. Our family will cherish the recordings of our parents words in their own voice.

It was a wonderful opportunity for my ex-husband to reflect on the highlights and lowlights of his life and work. it is now in the hands of his children and grandchildren to enjoy as the years go by and learn about their father and grand father.
The interviewer may have been able to tease out some more personal information from the subject, especially in relation to his children. However, this may have been challenging due to his age and frailty. Nevertheless a wonderful gift to pass on.

My interviewer, Daisy Dumas, did a great job in leading me to talk about different phases of my life and relationships with my family. I was totally relaxed throughout and enjoyed the experience over the three interviews. Daisy made it easy for me to speak of the many aspects of my life.
