Steven was so incredibly friendly with us, we had some insurance issues which he gave us a full refund on which we appreciated a lot. He went over everything about the motor before we left, and which I needed.

The van itself was a dream. We had 8 people so it was full at all times, but getting to do the NC500 was a dream come true and something I’ll never ever forget. The van itself was sublime, as was the pitch up tent for which my friends stayed in and loved it, we even managed to to get 5 of them in!

We would definitely recommend Steven and hire from him again if we do it again.

We had an awesome time in our rental van! Steven was very helpful, thorough, and friendly. He even gave us a short ride to our hotel after we dropped it off so we wouldn't have to take the bus since the weather was poor.

The van was very spacious, clean, and gave us no issues. The sink, chairs, and cookware provided are a nice touch. One note, you may not want to count on being able to sleep in the roof tent every night as for us at least, the weather was just so wet. There were just two of us so we could fit comfortably in the van.

We had a great trip with the van. Everything went well and Steven even organized a lift to the airport for us. Thanks a lot!

Highly recommend Alba campers! We booked a standard automatic plus camper for the May bank holiday weekend and it was great- reasonably priced, and the van was spacious, comfy and well equipped. Booking and subsequent communication was clear and friendly, and pick up was conveniently located a short bus ride from the centre of Edinburgh. We have lots more of Scotland to see so will definitely be booking again.

Hired a Campervan in sept 2023 and had to change the booking slightly and the team at Alba were very accommodating. The van itself was very clean, excellant value for money and had all we needed for our 7 day road trip, Steven was friendly and helpful both at pick up and when we returned, we will be recommending them to our friends who wish to do the NC500 next year.

Excellent, nothing more to be said! Great vehicle, clean and well maintained, everything included that you could need for Camping in Scotland. Great value for Camper van hire. (The van is not covered in advertising either like many competitors, which makes your camping a little more discreet) We would highly recommend & will return, thanks Steve.

The van we rented from Albacampers was great, very well equipped and well maintained. We had a great road trip with it over 15 days. Steven and the Albacampers team are very friendly and responsive. We had no problems during our trip. We recommend them!

Alba Campers were fantastic! The owners were very friendly, straightforward, and helpful in getting us set up and on our way. There were no surprise fees/etc that we’ve experienced with other companies. The van was exactly as advertised and was delivered clean and in perfect mechanical order. It was our first time driving on Scotland’s narrow country roads so we were very glad to have a smaller maneuverable vehicle with an automatic transmission. For sleeping 2 adults it was more than adequate though. The smaller size also made it very easy to find many spectacular overnight parking spots! Looking on Google maps the pickup location appears to be far from Edinburg but it really is not - an express city bus right from the city centre got us there in about 25 minutes and only cost a couple pounds. It was super easy. I hope you enjoy RV’ing around Scotland as much as we did! 5/5 stars, highly recommended company.

Choose Alba Campers! You will not regret it! The van was in perfect condition, easy to drive with automatic gear shift and an absolute wonderful and easy way to discover Scotland's scenic landscapes. No downsides at all. Kyle and Steven - and the whole team behind - are very friendly, and you can contact them on WhatsApp during your tour if anything happens. So you can just relax and do your things. Highly recommend Alba Campers.

We had a wonderful week long road trip in "Alba" our compact and well fitted out van from Alba Campers. The van was comfortable, clean, with great storage and console. Superb service from the Alba Campers team who were very helpful, particularly when we had a small windscreen chip. Flexible pick up time and very understanding when we unfortunately were delayed with our drop-off. I highly recommend them to people interested in camper-vanning around Scotland!

Steven is a super friendly and helpful guy who gave us amazing service. The amenities in the camper van were above and beyond what we expected - he really thought about everything. We slept and cooked in the van while traveling around Orkney for a week and enjoyed every moment. The van was really comfortable and well equipped and perfect for driving long distances. We have nothing but good things to say about Steven and his business and would recommend anyone to rent from him.

Had a fantastic weekend break away from the city. Can't fault the camper it was great to drive handled the tight single track roads of the Highlands with ease it was equipped with everything you need the bed was more than adequate for me my partner and my 2 dog's 1 of them is 8.5 stone and likes to sprawl out. Steven was extremely friendly and helpfull and I would highly recommend checking alba campers out if you fancy getting away on a budget. I've already booked another camper for the nc500 in August.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my trip after the cooling off period.

AlbaCampers were very generous to cancel the booking without taking a charge from the account; even though it was after the cooling off period.

Will definitely book again at my earliest convenience.

We had a great experience renting from Alba Campers - they helped us have a dream NYE in amongst the chaos of 2021/22!

When phoning up to enquire before booking, I spoke to Steven who was very friendly and informative, putting me at ease and giving me confidence that this was someone I could like and trust.

On receiving the van, we were given a helpful run down of everything we needed to know and told we could phone Steven at any time if we needed any other info or help.

The van itself was well-maintained and easy to drive -- better than my own car! It was stocked with all we would need, a gas stove, plates, cutlery and cooking pots, a torch, power bank and loads more.

All of this left us confident on the road and comfortable when we settled down for the night.

At the end of our trip we returned the van, again with no trouble and with great communication and flexibility from Steven.

The only bad thing about our experience was that it had to end! We would definitely come back to do this again and wouldn't consider using anyone other than Alba.
