How I wish I could give Steve Daly and the team (Casie Bampkin and Nikki Shone) ten stars.

After failing to secure a mortgage for our dream home which we had been saving and working tirelessly for so long through another broker, Steve Daly was recommended to us by our our friend. We contacted Steve D anxiously not knowing what to expect. From my very first conversation with Steve, I had a strong believe that he was good at his job and could certainly work some magic for us. Magic, he did indeed..!

I was forthright with him and explained the difficulty we have had. His initial line questioning and the discussion we had indicated that he was someone with years of experience in the mortgage brokerage industry. My wife had just taken up a second job. He immediately advised me that for the income from the second to be considered by any funding institution, the employment must have been at least 5-6 months and ongoing. This is exactly what happened when he prepared the application and submitted it to the bank for consideration. The bank waited and asked for six months of evidence before they could make the decision to approve the mortgage.

During the entire period we interacted with Steve, Casie and Nikki, there was never, I mean never a single time they said no or it was not possible to our endless requests. At every instance, Casie would only politely say 'we will try' to all our requests. They understood we were going through difficult and anxious times and the person to person relationship was more than excellent.

It was not just the main mortgage, but also the re-mortgage of our flat which the other broker had failed to complete. Steve and his team had to pick this up at the last minute and successfully re-mortgaged the flat at an even high value and lower interest rate than the first broker had proposed.

At the last minute, we realised that the loan we had originally request from bank was not going fund all our needs. Everything seemed to be falling apart and we were panicking and spending sleepless nights with our stuff packed in boxes not knowing what to do. Again, I picked up the phone and explained the situation to Steve. To cut the long story short, he took his time to go through the possible options that were available to us. One, and the most likely was to go back to the bank and apply for revised and increased funding. Once again, Steve and his team pulled this out of the hat. What they did for me and my family is beyond expectation and I will forever be grateful for their services.

It has taken me longer than I would have liked to write this review. This is because we have had to move back and forth to get the necessary things for us and our kids to bed into the new environment.

Dear Steve, Casie and Nikki, we cannot thank you enough. You have made our dream a reality and we owe it to you. We will remain your life customers and do not be surprise if we come knocking again very soon for other products. And lest I forgot, we will happily recommended your services to our friends and family if and when they need them.

Geoff provided excellent service from start to finish, I could not recommend his services enough. Given that we were first time buyers, we required lots of guidance, and no job or question was to big or too small for him to help with and he provided us with answers and solutions very quickly. We had many difficulties with the lender, the seller and the solicitors, Geoff made sure this was all dealt with seamlessly.

Well worth using his services if you are looking to purchase a property. 10/10!

Initially, I used Albany Finance for remortgaging, and they offered me a cheaper deal than what the bank was offering directly. All my questions were answered, and everything was completed on time. Joe Smith was proactive, sending me emails and making calls at times that suited my schedule, and the service ticked all my boxes. Joe Smith was very patient in listening to my questions and answering them in detail; there was no push to sell quickly and move on to the next customer. I now have life insurance and income protection insurance through Joe Smith, and again, everything was done first class. Once again, there was no push to sell, and my work routine was respected when he contacted me. I cannot comment on the service quality of insurance provider (Aviva) yet, as I haven’t had to deal with them directly, but Joe Smith’s service was top class. Thank you, Joe.
