VIP subscription already set without your knowledge.

They place an already checked box for their 14 day trial that becomes a $40 monthly subscription directly under the reviews. You can’t see it if you don’t scroll all the way done. But why would you? They have upsells prior to the payment area than can add on if you like BUT they out the $40 a month VIP subscription in an area that you can’t see and they have marked that you subscribed. That is intended to get you in a subscription you never signed up for and a 14 day trial that you have no idea you are trying.

CHEAP & WON'T RESPOND TO EMAILS

Took a month and a half to receive my purchase. During my wait, I received two emails asking for my opinion on my purchase. I have had my cheap looking ring for two weeks and it has already tarnished...I have one from Temu that lasted longer than that. What a huge disappointment. And a lifetime warranty? How? I can't get anyone to answer me back!!!

This company auto enrolled me in monthly VIP membership of 39.99 a month. When I noticed the reoccurring charge after 2 months, they would only refund me one month saying that I didn’t catch their dishonesty in time! Disputing charges now.

Alder Jewellers is a fraud and scam…

Alder Jewellers is a fraud and scam business. Do not waste your time and energy on this company. I had read all of the reviews about this company and decided to order because there were mixed reviews. Right after placing my order I emailed the company and told them about all of the negative reviews that they had and I didn’t not want to be charged any unauthorized purchases after this initial purchase and wanted to ensure that I did receive my merchandise. I got an email response back right away. The person assured me that this was not the case and in-spite of the negative reviews they wanted to put my mind at ease that they are a legit company. Okay cool so I was like I’m willing to give them a chance. I received tracking information but the tracking did not tell you if it was from FedEx or UPS. It was some type of Chinese tracking system. I checked the status of the shipment every day. I received an email asking about what I thought about one of the rings I ordered. That email prompted me to check the status because usually when you receive an email like that the items have been delivered. So I proceed to check the status and the status was updated to delivery failed due to the wrong address. This was a lie the address was correct. I reached out to the company about this and it has been several days with no response. They create fake tracking information. If UPS or FedEx was trying to deliver a package they would call the number you left when ordering to get the correct information for your address. I have dealt with plenty of people in China and legit people don’t operate like these people do. I also dealt with UPS and FedEx when they have called to get the correct address when they couldn’t deliver. These scammers behind Alder Jewellers have absolutely no integrity. It’s always in the months of November and December when you see social media ads increasing they pay good money to scam people because they will make more money scamming people. I have notified my bank about these fraudulent charges and to for them be on the look out for any future charges that this company may try and charge. It’s sad what people will do for money these days. It’s hard to trust people a lesson learned to always go with the reviews and trust your instincts. This company will be reported to the news outlets so everyone in the world will know about their scam.

Update on product: I received the rings today 12/13/25. I didn’t realize it was from Alder Paris until I open the package. The little grey box that the packaging comes in is really cute. The rings are cute as well however it’s not moissanite as stone pieces in the jewelry like they said. I tested all three rings neither past the diamond test. Even though I received the package it’s not quality jewelry like they say that it is. It’s not about the amount of money I spend but about honesty and integrity with me. Treat your customers with the up most importance and be ethical and integral and do right by them. Don’t mislead people through false advertising by saying that your jewelry is moissanite which is a precious stone in its on right full knowing that what your selling and sending customers is cubic zirconia.

Be careful in ordering from this…

Be careful in ordering from this company! They will charge you a monthly subscription fee of $39.99! I was not made aware that they automatically enroll you to a subscription. I was not aware that they were charging me $39.99 monthly for 5 months already and when I noticed I called and told them I did not subscribe, and they only refunded me $19.99 because it was already charged from my credit card for that month when I noticed! So save your money!!!They SCAMMED me $39.99 monthly subscription fee that I did NOT authorize! Alder Jewellers(513) 229-9498

Disappointed and Frustrated

I received my rings today, and the quality was nothing like what was advertised. The two rings didn’t match, they were oddly shaped, and even the box wouldn’t close again once it was opened. The whole product felt cheap and completely different from what the photos showed.

On top of that, there was a hidden 39.99 subscription fee tucked away at checkout. If you miss the tiny pre-checked box at the very end, you’ll be charged automatically. That’s deceptive, and it immediately made me question the company’s practices.

To their credit, they did refund the 39.99 right away — which is the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. I’m also anticipating a full refund for the rings themselves, as I plan to return them. I can’t use them in the condition they arrived. I am hoping Alder's customer service will do the right thing.

Overall, the experience has been a rollercoaster of disappointment, and I won’t be ordering from this company again.

FRAUD ALERT!!

FRAUD ALERT!!! Do not purchase from this site/company. They were taking withdrawals of $39.99 for the past 4 months. They told me when I made my first purchase I automatically signed up for a monthly membership. This is not true. There was no such contract. Very misleading and unprofessional. I asked my bank to dispute all the withdrawals. Super disappointing!!

My unfortunate experience

I myself experience what you all are talking about?! However, I caught it in 3 weeks when the ring arrived!! Beautiful ring 💍 it is to me but the charges that knew nothing about was on there? ( Reading you all comments is what made me check my account?) I called customer service and, she cancelled the VIP membership, at first gave me a $20 refund, after hearing my discuss with the company, made the whole $39.99 refund! Now waiting for the 3 - 10 days to expire to see if it show up back on my card??? She was pleasant though!!

THEY SAVE YOUR CARD INFO AND RANDOMLY CHARGE

I ordered a ring and was charged. Makes sense. Then I get a random charge for $39.99 and dispute with my bank. Luckily I didnt have that charge go through completely and they canceled it. But, my card is cancelled as well. The absolute hassle of changing every account that I have to a new card is crazy. I got the ring I ordered at least but WTF.

One star is being pretty generous

One star is being pretty generous. I never got my order, and like others have noted, I was charged a monthly fee of $39.99 in August. I got my bank to charge back but they resumed to charge the card for the next two months. My advice is to get a new credit card and report the card as being compromised. I really wish I read the reviews beforehand to spare myself the trouble. Never buying anything off of Insta again.

They charged my account 39.99 for the…

They charged my account 39.99 for the past 4 months before I noticed. Some VIP club which is not mentioned on their website, nor did they ever mention in the receipt or ordering process. this is fake Chinese jewelry that is marked up %1000 and than they charge you monthly until you charge back. My guess is that there are multiple sites owned by the same people.
