Bought a bag for my daughter in tenerife. It broke within a few hours. We popped back into the shop on our way back from being out for dinner hoping to exchange it for another bag to be told by their unhelpful customer service assistant Maria that we can't exchange or have a refund. We proved the purchase but still was told we had broke it and they sold it to us intact. Surely a bag should have more longevity than a few hours and wasn't fit for purpose to break so soon! Also Maria had no time for us pointing out she had other customers to serve and didn't have time to deal with us. Absolutely the worst customer service experience received in a long time. Always bought something from these shops when on holidays for the kids but will never step foot in one again due to their shi*e customer service and people skills. Will save my money and shop at home where there are proper laws and regulations on exchanges and refunds! Really disappointed on this occasion.

We will never buy anything from here again because of the very poor quality that means their products break within days. The company customer service is non-existent and not interested, even with a valid receipt. Both ALDI and LIDL offer cheaper and better quality products so will not visit another ALE-HOP again.

Ale Hop is a successful shop selling all sorts of items. We have visited as a family when on holiday in Europe where we see many of the outlets. I’ve bought several toys, gadgets, pens and electrical items from them. I have to say, 2 lots of earbuds I have purchased were a waste of money. The charging was erratic from the start and blue tooth connection to a iPhone 14 started to drop out frequently after 9 months. I won’t waste my money again. I shall buy from a reputable shop at home. At least I can get a refund if they fail.

Do not buy their black "floating" ball. It's practically impossible to charge and my daughter finally got it flying, dropped it once (she's 1m 40cm!!) from a height of 90cm, and it stopped working. Don't waste your money.

I bought for £40 a 40,000 MAH fast charge power bank . My phone has an 8000 mah battery but unbelievably this power bank can only charge this once from a flat battery. There is no way that the power bank capacity quoted is 40,000 MAH. It should be capable of charging this phone several times. I'm very disappointed. 30 day returns policy is not great .

Went into the Alcudia shop in Mallorca & bought a chain for a pair of reading glasses & the assistant recommended a holder for my phone so I could securely put it round my neck-safer so not stolen & so I didn't drop the phone when taking pictures.
1. The glasses chain broke within the hour-simply fell apart & my specs landed on the floor.
2. The phone holder attachment broke about a week later again whilst wearing it & my phone fell to the ground & it cracked the screen.
Perhaps I misheard the assistants descriptions of the purpose of each!! 🤔 Don't waste your money in Ale-hop

We were given a flying robot as a Christmas present, charged the robot with the usb, tried the remote, battery was flat (after a month of non-use) and it’s not replaceable…why would you want to collect the set?

Absolutely love these shops both in Tenerife and Lanzarote for presents for the grandchildren. However purchased a remote control car in Adeje and it broke within 2 days. Took it back to playa Blanca a months later and was told it was outside of the 30 days exchange. No, sorry it broke you need to exchange and give me a new item that works. Was fobbed off and felt bitterly disappointed. Gave me the normal, sorry it’s our T&Cs and my manager isn’t working today, back next week. Shame on you Ale-hop!!

Purchased a 15ml bottle of perfume from Lisbon store and opened once i returned to UK. The bottle was EMPTY!! Clearly an issue at manufacture end and limited quality control measures.

Bought a cheap tacky necklace from here for 6 euro while in Los cristianos tenerife, within two hours of getting back to the hotel and trying it for the first time it came apart in my hands, I know it was only cheap tack like everything else in the shop and I accept that but it still expect it to have a longer lifespan than two hours, I didn't keep the receipt, who does for cheap tack?, but seeing that it wasn't fit for purpose while passing again next day with the tack still in the company branded bag they refused to replace it as expected, ffs it's 6 euro how hard is it to just replace it ? ,but they didn't so hence the review.
Stay away and save your money, it's just full of cheap tacky sh#te anyways.

bought watch took back to uk. does not charge up useless, in bin , beware

Box description is 'Walking Crab with Batteries' however there are no batteries which is very misleading. Opening the battery compartment requires a special thin-cross screwdriver (also not supplied) and there are no instructions on which screws need to be removed, nor how to remove the battery cover. Otherwise the toy operates as described and is fun to watch moving across the floor.

Bought a smartwatch (Apple style) works like a charm.(€25,-)
Considdering it’s a cheap rip off.
Bluetooth earplugs (Airpods pro style)
and the quality is verry good for the price you pay.(€19,-)

The lavender travel bag that is still for sale on their website €15 is very badly made. The stitching came apart and it frayed on several of the zip areas so I took it back and was given another.
After 2 months the bag was in tatters again. No heavy use just a bit of shopping. Shop refused my money back as I didn't have the receipt..... how many people keep their receipts for purchases likes of this for 2 months
Ale Hop must save a fortune using this out. Disgraceful

Unfortunately, my experience with the Alehop Digital Watch has been extremely negative. I have encountered a number of issues that make this product not at all recommended.

Problems encountered:

Screen lock: The time display screen cannot be locked, which is very inconvenient, as it constantly turns off and you have to press a button to see it.
WhatsApp notifications: When receiving a WhatsApp call, the watch does not show any notification, which is a major disadvantage for those who use this application frequently.
Battery life: The watch's battery lasts less than a day, which means it needs to be charged constantly. This is unacceptable for a digital watch that is supposed to be a portable device.
Displaying WhatsApp messages: It is not possible to read WhatsApp messages on the watch, which considerably limits its functionality.
Overall:

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Alehop Digital Watch to anyone. The problems mentioned above make it a frustrating and useless product. I consider that there are better options on the market that offer the same features at a similar or even lower price.

Recommendations:

If you are looking for a digital watch, I recommend that you research other brands and models before buying the Alehop Digital Watch. There are many options with better features, longer battery life, and more reliable operation.

We only packed one iPhone/iPad lead to take on holiday, but with 2 devices to charge (an iPhone & an iPad), we bought a spare lead from Ale-Hop in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria (amongst many other items - the other, non-electrical items were fine). The leads, we believe, were DANGEROUS. The first got instantly very, very hot on use, so we returned for exchange. The replacement, however, was even worse and it almost started a fire as it began to burn, twist and warp, after less than an hour's use. It also burned the connection to our iPad and a part of the case and the iPad would no longer charge or work after lack of charge. If we had not been in the room, and smelled the burning, the result, we believe, could have been catastrophic. We took the lead back to the Ale Hop shop with the evidence and they informed us that Customer Services would get involved. Following advice from Customer Services, later by phone, we returned the lead to the shop the next morning for a refund. Customer Services also gave us a 'to-do' list so that they would also refund us for the repair of the iPad and its case, when we returned home. We followed their instructions meticulously and it is actually fortunate that the iPad could be repaired at all, so the bill was fairly minimal. However, 8 months later, they are still refusing to pay for the iPad repair, having offered this option. They say that we did not leave the burned cable with them, so they won't pay. They said they would check the cameras, which of course we welcomed, as this would show we did leave it at the shop. But they just send more emails which repeat that we need to send the faulty cable to them. We have all the evidence to show, (including on their cameras, should they check) that we left the burnt cable with them. They insisted at the time that we did leave it, for them to refund for the faulty cable - we have the receipt as proof! The Customer Services emails just go around in circles as they don't want to refund the money for the repair of the iPad, which they offered to do, accepting that the damage was caused by their lead. We used an interpreter in Gran Canaria, so we have third party witness to all the conversations with Customer Services. We did everything Customer Services asked - we have all the receipts, times, dates, and information, including photographs of the burned cable and damage to the iPad and case. I have told Customer Services I will review on every site, to let people know of not only the dangerous items, we believe, they are selling, but also to recommend to buyers to be very careful before they buy from this establishment. If you have trouble with their goods, be careful of information from Ale-Hop Customer Services. I thought that if I told them I would write a review, they would take more responsibility for what they are selling and how they treat customers, but sadly they just ignored this as well. Please take care with what you purchase from this company.

Whilst on a recent holiday in Tenerife we found the shop of Ale Hop and really loved the overall feel of the shop and most of its products.
Bought a 'Smart Watch?' from the store in Tenerife Airport and told it would link to my iphone etc with bluetooth.
This is the only digital/smart watch I have ever owned that gains time !!!!! Everyday you need to reset it.
I have mailed the company twice and had no response at all.
It really is waste of money
