After hearing some stories…

After hearing some suspicious stories about this company, I signed up for the course in the experiences I was told about (HCP). January 2020.
As an instructor of that course myself I was stunned to find the quality of the equipment and the teaching was horrific.
Course was combined with a similar program(CPR C) to get the most students in seats. Less than 1/2 hour was focused on the course I signed on for.
Dirty excessively worn toy dolls were used for the infant training. Not proper CPR resuscitation dolls.
No AED trainers were touched by the students. One trainer was demonstrated in the instructors hands.
1 minute of BVM use was done per student on adult manikins. None on Child or Infant manikins.
Pocket mask lent to students had no 1 way valves and mine had two suspicious items(debris) on the inside.
ACTAR manikin used for adult CPR was not equipped with a lung to show if chest could be inflated and had a chunk of chewing gum in the head. The chest piston was well past the use by date.
The instructor actually said I shouldn't take my hands off the chest, when in reality the piston couldn't recover fast enough.
Room was to small to safely hold the number of people and equipment.
No written knowledge test.
Course was suppose to run 6:15 - 10:00pm.
I was back at my car at approximately 9:35 pm....certified in Basic Life Support.
The true course by the certifying body is suppose to run 6 hours and not be combined and have a test.

I reported this school to the certifying body after the owner called me on the phone swore at me, berated me, and threatened to take me to court for writing a review.

The certifying body made Alert First aid give all the students a proper course, Yet no reviews about how they messed up on Google reviews.
I was only given a refund after the reporting of the incident.
The owner said to the certifying body about the phone call to me "that's not how I remember it...".
He is just a disgruntled ex-employee.
The certifying body choose to believe this.
So he lied.
I who heartedly encouraged him to take me to court. He failed on his empty legal threats because of cowardice.
