While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Scam website

alertsforyou and alerts4u, they are all belong to a company(4130kinetic). I found I lost 29.99 every month and I even didn't know these websites, the things happened after I scanned the QR code of a restaurant to see the menu. I'm sure I didn't auth any payment!
It's shame that UK gov did nothing to this kind of scam.

scam

Clearly, a scam company, don't fool for their message where they say text the number to stop the messages, that's how they actually charge you. They can't charge for them to send a message to you but can the other way round. Just block the number

Zero stars

Zero stars. They send me texts saying they are charging money to my mobile account. I have never signed up for anything. Their texts are untraceable, even by my mobile provider.

Block all premium rate numbers! SCAMMERS!

Topped up my sons phone on a o2 payg phone £10 which gave him a £5 bundle of unlimited calls and texts but every time we sent a text it deducted £1.50 so I rang o2 to query this only to find out them telling me we were texting a premium rate number but we weren’t!!! And on our end no texts showed up that we were texting any premium rate numbers although o2 could see from their end we were.. and I ended up arguing with o2 we were definitely not! This deduction was done without our knowledge or consent ..and I can’t understand how we cannot view the messages we were suppose to have sent ..it’s in stealth mode what ever it is BEWARE!
I’ve reported like others on here to “action fraud” and advise everyone to do the same. Also block premium rate numbers from your accounts.

Also if you look up in trustpilot alerts4u seems like it was same company/address etc and complaints are the same.. I’ve left my review there too.

These are thieves.

These are thieves.
They lie about who they are, and attach to your phone bill charging your account on a weekly basis. They are liars. There is no benefit or service to you. They are only there to steal from you

SCAMMERS! Alerts for You

Have no recollection of signing up to this lot & I've tried the STOP messages with the number they provide 88222 - IT DOESN'T WORK!!!! I can't seem to unregister my mobile number from this pack of scammers. I have tried to ring them directly to stop them sending me unwanted text messages. No one ever seems to answer or call me back.
I've also reported them to: PSA - Phone-paid Services Authority. Search for them online. You can make a complaint there about them.
Also, check the companies information with them regarding all the contact information they have for Alerts for You: Click on - For-consumers, then go to their "service checker"

Utter scam unsolicited text messages to my daughters phone. She’s not signed up to this outfit of utter scamming scumbags. Fingers crossed that because I have blocked premium numbers to all phone accounts I pay for we avoid being robbed by these poor excuses for humanity
