i have booked a hotel accommodation…Algotel the worst company ever to book accommodation don't do it!
i have booked a hotel accommodation through Algotel 6 months in advance, i went to the hotel to stay only to be told that Algotel had cancelled my booking.
i tried to call the 24x7 telephone line only to get poor service and excuses about they could not help me on the day. i ended up paying for the hotel room again as we had nowhere to stay. it has been over a week and Algotel will not sort out refund. Do not book with Algotel as they are the worst company to deal with and will cost you more money to book with them.
Awful
Booked a room but at the end after paying, the date was changed. Then when I went to fix this, they said they would return my call but they never did. I called numerous times only to get an auto.ated system that said the would call back. The hotel said I had to go through them to fix this problem and nothing came of it. Awful service. Do not use
I see algotels rating is at 1.7
I see algotels rating is at 1.7
If I had my way, I would give them a negative rating for costumer serviceand booking problems
I'll never deal with them again.
Disappointing & Uncompassionate
Extremely Disappointing and Uncompassionate Support
I had a booking through Algotels for Fairfield by Marriott Times Square. Due to an unexpected death in my family, I requested a cancellation on compassionate grounds and provided an obituary as supporting documentation.
Initially, Algotels told me the hotel rejected the refund. After this, I contacted the hotel directly, and they confirmed they cancelled the reservation free of charge as an exception and noted that they would confirm this when Algotels (the third-party agent) contacted them.
Despite this, Algotels repeatedly refused to take responsibility and insisted I provide written proof from the hotel-something that is unreasonable given I did not book directly with the hotel. As the booking agent, it is Algotels’ responsibility to verify this with the hotel, not push the burden back onto a grieving customer.
The lack of empathy, poor communication, and unwillingness to coordinate internally made an already difficult situation far worse. This was some of the most frustrating and insensitive customer support I have experienced.
I would strongly caution others before booking through Algotels, especially if you ever need help during unforeseen circumstances.
Their site made a change to my booking…
Their site made a change to my booking and when I called them to get it corrected, they said "Sorry... No refunds!"
I wasn't even looking for a refund. Just a correction.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
Impossible customer service
Impossible customer service. Hidden fees in the form of “Taxes & Fees”. They were unable to provide an itemized receipt for these charges saying that it is a “system generated receipt.”This is also against the law. They must provide transparency of these fees according to consumer laws.
SCAM AVOID SCAM AVOID SCAM AVOID

Booked 2 nights in London for this weekend via the Trivago website but ended up with an ALGOTELS confirmation.
Arrived at the hotel with booking confirmation in hand to be told there was no booking for us and that the ALGOTELS SITE IS A SCAM!!!!
Complete scam!!
Complete scam!!! Didn’t even book the hotel reservation through this company. It was booked through Trivago, it was masked as Trivago, then the receipt came up as Algotels. Checked with the hotel, no booking. Called Algotels and was told we would get a booking number 24 hrs before the scheduled date. When we pushed as said we want it now they said they will get us a booking number but couldn’t tell us when. So we said then cancel & refund the money but they can’t do that because it’s a non refundable booked. But you haven’t booked it I say, yes we have they say, then you can give me a booking number I said, but no. Omg they think we are idiots. Well maybe I am for using Trivago in the first place. Never again.
You lied about the booking and then did…
Booked and received confirmation of a sea view room… sadly I did not think to check you out after making the booking!
The “ cancellation period passed “ I then checked room facilities with hotel 2 weeks prior to departure to be told no reservation for sea view room received, in fact you had specifically reserved a non sea view room ( copy of reservation sent to me from hotel ) I immediately contacted Algotels who basically gave me the run around for 2 weeks and did nothing to resolve the issue! Now they are hiding behind “ cancellation / amendment period expired “ and “ as a third party agent we are not responsible for any errors in booking “ and yet Algotels you have taken my money…
AMERICAN EXPRESS you should also be ashamed total lack of customer service!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Getting SCAMMED!
Their app CHANGED my requested dates for reservation then after I booked it, I couldn’t change, or cancel the reservation and get a refund! Now I can’t get ANYONE to help me with the issue! I’ve submitted several requests for service but am getting NO REPLIES! Looks like I’m going get my money STOLEN by a disreputable business!
Unable to process tax exempt??????
My company expects that I travel tax exempt. Every legitimate company is able to process a tax exempt transaction with the proper forms. Algotel continues to tell me I have been escalated and will be contacted within 24 hours (about 15 times) and I have yet to be contacted. This can't be a legit company
FRAUD ALERT REPORTED TO TRADING…

STAY AWAY ALGOTELS AS ITS A SCAM
I booked a stay at Algotel Hotel in Dubai through Trivago, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
After completing my booking, I contacted the hotel directly to confirm my reservation—only to be told that no reservation existed under my name. This created unnecessary stress and uncertainty, especially when booking accommodation in advance.
The fact that Trustpilot requires at least one star to leave a review is generous, because based on this experience, zero stars would be more appropriate. A booking platform should ensure that confirmed reservations actually reach the hotel.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the booking process. I would strongly advise others to double-check directly with the hotel before relying on reservations made through Trivago.
I would love the option to give ZERO…
I would love the option to give ZERO stars to algotels.com!
They are a scam!! We booked in advanced for a trip through Trivago Deals. We thought we booked through Trivago to only find out the booking went through a 3rd party and you don’t even know it happened because it looks legit going through Trivago.
Called the hotel the day before our scheduled check in date. The hotel states no such reservation found under our name and not to mention the reservation confirmation number was not found either.
algotels will take your money, so please do avoid the hassle, don’t use them!!!
Algotel awful and Trivago unhelpful
Using Trivago we booked the Palace hotel in Buxton for a weekend spa break. The room was noisy (window looked out on to machinery), the room wasn’t equipped as a double, the carpets could have told some stories and the bathroom had mold on the wall. We checked in and out again in less than 30 minutes as they had no other rooms. Contacted Algotel and explained the situation and asked for a refund as the room was not of merchantable quality. One email acknowledging our email then nothing. Hotel contacted them and I was assured they had agreed to a refund…nothing. Credit card company disputed the charge…nothing. Contacted Trivago “not our problem”. Complete and utter charlatans with no interest other than taking your money. Morals of the story. Trivago aren’t interested in customer satisfaction, Palace hotel isn’t as good a the photographs would suggest and Algotel do not care about their customers.
Worst booking company ever
Worst booking company ever! Non refundable even is it is a month in advance….do not book with them
Please DO NOT use this company.

Like many reviewers have previously stated if I could give a rating of zero I would.
Unfortunately I didn’t check trustpilot until after my booking was confirmed and payment taken in full.
A two night London stay was booked through Trivago using the third party company algotel. On booking I received a confirmation email immediately as well as a hotel voucher containing all correct hotel and personal details.
As a result of the numerous bad reviews I immediately contacted the hotel concerned to clarify if my booking had been made but unfortunately they confirmed that no booking had been made for my stay.
I then contacted algotel customer service to report my issue and to my surprise I actually got an email reply quickly all be it very vague. I was informed my complaint had been raised with the relevant department and that I would be updated asap with regards to what was happening with my booking. I didn’t hold up any hope and as expected a day after my initial email to algotel they emailed me stating they were sorry to hear that I had cancelled my booking (which I hadn’t done). I then recieved a second email minutes later stating that due to a technical issue my booking could not be confirmed and apologies were given. They stated they had initiated a refund which could take 3 to 10 business days.
Moral of the story is if a low hotel price looks too good to be true it probably is. I just hope I actually recieve my full refund as promised.
It’s a shame a huge company like Trivago allow this to happen even when the trustpilot confirmed reviews are so poor.

Quick Customer Service Response. Issue quickly resolved
It's a complete fraud
It's a complete fraud. Booked 2 rooms for 1 night in London for this coming weekend. I called the hotel last week to confirm the booking.
5 days on and still no confirmation, the hotel have informed me this is happening all the time with Algotels. They are not legitimate.
My bank has now advised me to cancel my credit card used on the booking due to security concerns. No response from Algotel Customer Service in 4 days and £567 down the drain. Absolute charlatans
THIS COMPANY is DECEPTIVE and FRAUDULENT. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!
Booked a hotel- read cancellation policy aloud to the group we were going with- then after I booked they said it was non refundable. When I called they said I had clicked a button to make it non refundable. I did not click any buttons because the reason I booked was the cancellation policy I had read aloud to a group of 4. Now they say they won’t refund my money and my trip is months away.
Go to the hotel directly(which I thought I did). They make their site look like you are booking the room from the hotel you are going to. Everything about them is deceptive and slimy. DO NOT USE!!!!
