I ordered 2 Bianca chairs in cream on behalf of my mother in law
I was informed that the chairs would be delayed and did I wish to cancel or continue with the order
We chose to wait and they were delivered yesterday , requiring minimal assembly ( chair legs )
My mother in law is delighted
Communication throughout with Tracy has been continual and professional

I would not buy anything from Alison at…

I would not buy anything from Alison at home again and definitely would not recommend. My rattan dining furniture looks cheap and tacky - the back cushions are different sizes and don’t appear to fit properly; the cushions that sit on top of the stools are not fixed so keep coming off. Really disappointed with the quality of the rattan dining furniture. Sorry.

In our opinion, Alison At Home is an ethical Company
and their Service Manager, Tracy, is a great asset to them. Tracy went far beyond the 'call of duty' to assist us with our purchase. Consequently, recommend them, unreservedly.

Excellent customer service

I have recently had to cancel an order with Alison at Home due to a change in family circumstances. The customer service response from Tracy was second to none. I was regularly updated with her liaison with the carrier to enable this to be done and have received a refund. I can recommend the company.

Salisbury sofa: just right and delivered quickly

I've just received a Salisbury corner sofa from Alison at Home. I almost didn't buy it because of the negative reviews but it looked like what I wanted and at a reasonable price and so I took the chance.
The sofa set arrived 3 working days after the order, all complete and easy to assemble. The sofa is exactly as advertised and just what I wanted.
No complaints, perfectly satisfied!

Almost all online companies suffered from significant logistical issues last year because of the pandemic, and that did result in some negative reviews (people rarely bother to place positive reviews just the bad ones!), but happily we seem to be out of the worst of it and deliveries are now happening much more smoothly. Some issues initially but fantastic customer service

Had some issues with the products I ordered and was initially unhappy with this and the delays in response. However after dealing with tracy island customer service I am much more satisfied with the customer service and outcome. Had initially had poor responses by customer services but was assured by tracy this was due to coronavirus and she really went the extra mile to ensure I had a good outcome with the company. She was so helpful and understanding of my concerns and helped me to get my issues sorted. Feel like a lot of companies would shun you off if you arent happy but they really did go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction with the service. Thank you

EXCELLENT AND APPRECIATED

I recently purchased a garden mirror from Alison at Home, despite a mix up on the product delivered initially the company were quick to remedy the situation and through excellent customer service from Tracy and from the affiliated supplier the garden mirror now sits proudly in place, a quality product at a very good price and a company I would recommend and use again because as a first time customer they looked after me, and provided excellent service which was appreciated.

Stunning Mirror, Brilliant Service

I saw the exact garden mirror I had been looking for in the Sunday Telegraph Magazine on July 4 and ordered the larger mirror that day. I received a text from a specialist delivery company this morning, July 10, that they would deliver 'a fragile item' today between certain hours. The driver arrived and carried my mirror round to my garden.
It is now unpacked and positioned in place.
The mirror is stunning and the delivery was immaculate, thank you.

Disastrous Customer Service

Ordered Evie Modular Sofa on 2 May and received order confirmation with a delivery window of 2-3 weeks. 9.5 weeks later we are still waiting for courier to contact us about delivery. Coronavirus or not, this is simply unacceptable customer service in 2020!

Yes there has been a supplier issue with the Evie rattan sets and long delays, which, whilst genuinely out of our control, are unacceptable, and equally frustrating for us, as there is no upside for us to keep our customers waiting. 2 emails later - still no reply!

Sadly my experience has been as per many of the others here - terrible customer service. Ordered a mirror for Father’s Day which arrived within a week (great). Unfortunately the mirror was faulty; twisted on one side so doesn’t sit flat against the wall. Emailed customer service and supplied photo on 20th June and followed up on 26th June - still no reply. Whilst I understand under current circumstances replies can take longer but to get no response! You have taken my money for a faulty item and now won’t respond...perhaps you shouldn’t be taking money in the first place if you can’t complete orders to a satisfactory manner.

Fantastic service by the team at Alison at Home. Ordered an item for my Dads 70th Birthday due to lockdown I haven’t seen him for 14 weeks and I wanted his birthday to special. I have since had a very quick reply from Alison at Home in regards my order. I have been given a guide to when the furniture should be arriving to the company before getting dispatched to myself. Thank you for those hard workers at Alison at Home, keeping things moving in these difficult times. Just hope the warehouse lives up to their promise on delivery. Kind regards.

I bought a patio set from yourselves over 6 weeks ago and still haven't received it. Have you heard anything from the supplier? I see that from other recent reviews online, there has been a lot of complaints about delivery (understandably with the current situation) however, all other people seem to have had a delivery date confirmed and I am still waiting. I'm trying to be patient, but your company have had our money for 6 weeks and no confirmation date, which as you can imagine is very worrying. If there is a problem with this set, I'd rather know. I am grateful for the response you made earlier this week but I feel there has been poor communication from Alison at Home.
I had a phonecall two weeks after placing the order to say that there was a total of 6 weeks delay but those 6 weeks have well passed now. Please let me know an expected delivery date as soon as possible. Kindest regards, Natasha order number W00029219

No bench and no communication

I sent the below email 2 days ago and still no reply so I thought I would post here as replies appear quicker!
Order Ref: W00029091 - URGENT
I am writing on behalf of my Father in Law who ordered a bench via your Telegraph ad on 18th May (order number above) and is still to receive the item. He was told it would take 2 / 3 weeks.
We became concerned when the bench had not arrived, the money had been taken out of his account and the telephone number on the invoice was not in use. He is 93 and hard of hearing and we thought he may have been scammed so my husband made a 2 hour round trip to check the paper work. We can see you are a bona fide company but with a poor track record of Customer Service. Surely you could have put an answerphone message on your telephone number and not disconnect it?
Please let us know as a matter of urgency when the bench will be delivered and how he will know when the delivery date is. Thank you

Thank you for your email, and we are sorry if you have had trouble getting to us on the phone. Like many companies during Covid, we took the decision to disable our phones temporarily, partly due to staffing issues, and partly to channel all enquiries through email so we could better prioritise them. We have highlighted this on the home page of our website.

The supplier in question makes all benches to order and due to a similar lack of resource, suspended production for a while, which has caused unexpected delays.

They are now back in production and have informed us that your father in law's bench will be delivered on July 10th. We hope he enjoys it in this fine weather.

4th May order still not here!

Garden furniture ordered on 4th May with 1-2 weeks delivery. Still not arrived 8 weeks in. Received an email more than 2 weeks ago saying delivery will be within 2 weeks. Nothing. Would have gone elsewhere paying less but induced into purchasing from A@H because of 1-2 weeks delivery. Terrible customer service as no phones and do not reply to emails. When is it coming? Is it coming?

Update following reply: I did provide my telephone number when ordering. No contact as yet.

Update: received a text. Will be delivered Thursday 2nd July.

Your garden furniture was despatched yesterday with EPIC logistics. You should be receiving a text or call (if you didn't provide a mobile no) to book in delivery.

As I am sure you are aware, Covid has caused various delays to the supply chain and rattan furniture is imported from the far east, from where the majority of PPE has been coming, so freight services have been heavily disrupted.

Non Delivery complaint

Order W 00029472 2seater Balmoral Bench ordered 1st June. Delivery quoted 1-2 weeks. Not received, no contact, no phones available, Have sent 2 messages no answers. I cannot believe a company can be this bad to its customers I have no clue when this bench will arrive, hopefully before the summer is over!!
When will I get a bench???

Firstly, we are sorry that delivery dates have been pushed back. The reality is that when this bench was first advertised, delivery time frames were expected to be as advertised. However things have changed very dramatically over the past few weeks and delivery time frames have changed by the week, which has made Customer Service quite challenging in terms of keeping people updated.

We can inform you however that your bench is scheduled to be with the logistics firm by July 6th, and you should allow another week after that for delivery to your premises.

Please be assured that they are doing everything possible to get all deliveries out as fast as possible.

Garden Mirror

I cannot pretend that there have not been problems with our order initially but this is understandable given the Covid Crisis situation. Tracy at Customer Service made a special personal call to explain the problem and since then delivery has been very speedy. We are very pleased with the garden mirror which Is now in place
and enhances greatly a corner space.
