Living Documents that are actually used
I have never been much of a one for paperwork as I don't like the box ticking culture and managers in general who seem to waste a lot of staff time on pointless paperwork.
However, I needed to create boardroom level documents with information that was actually used!
All about Quality understood my requirements completely in drawing up Risk Assessments and Strategic Overview as well as advising on client quotations and the contract that I had drawn up by a solicitor.
While the format and the terminology was important, what I really wanted help with was to ensure that paperwork that I created didn't end up just being stuffed into a file, never to be looked at again. This for me is the biggest problem with paperwork - there is too much focus on "we need to have this paperwork" and less focus on actually using the information within the paperwork.
