Allivet went above and beyond.

Allivet went above and beyond when my autoship was stolen from the mailbox. Not only did they replace my order without any additional charge, they also sent it 2nd day FedEx, so there wouldn’t be any other mail issues. That level of service is much appreciated.

I am very impressed with Allivet and…

I am very impressed with Allivet and their customer service. My dog ran out of heart meds and I ordered some online. Saved 75% on the meds compared to what my vet wanted to charge me. Allivet had to confirm the prescription with my vet. There was a delay in that process and I was emailed by allivet notifying me that they were waiting to get confirmation from my vet and suggested I could call my vet and encourage them to respond ASAP to their request. I did so and received a confirmation from Allivet the next day that they had heard back from the vet. However meantime my little dog was without his meds and not doing well. I called to see if I could upgrade the shipping to get the meds faster. Customer service upgraded the shipping and did not charge me for the expedited shipping. Just Wow! Thank you so much Allivet for your superior customer service. I will be ordering more meds from you soon as soon as my other pet meds need refilling.

Shipping Delays…

My vet approve my dog's heartworm med on Monday and I received a confirmation email stating that they received it. My dog really needed his meds because we lives in a high risk area. I thought it would be shipped out either that day or the next. On Thursday, it stated that it was still in the process of being shipped. I called and asked what the status was and they said that it's in the process of being shipped and will
l take up to 3 business days once it's actually shipped. Leaving him without his meds for an additional week and a half. When asked if we could expedite this, both the agent and their manager told me they couldn't do it. Very dissatisfied with the service and the lack of promptness with shipping medication.

Live Service

It is so nice to talk with a live person when you have an issue. Allivet is so helpful when you need to get a prescription filled and our Vet's office is out to lunch! They will contact my Vet directly. When my vet allows refills, they don't make you get another prescription.

Allivet is total BS two times they…

Allivet is total BS two times they stopped our little babies heart medication and she suffered alot this last time. they are so stupid at allivet. they said that they didnt have the prescription one time and another person a short time later said they did. then there was issues getting it in the mail to send out. Each time they NEVER called to tell us they could not send the product which made it worse waiting for it in the mail.

Pet Medication Still Not Shipped After 4+ Days

I placed an order over four days ago and still don’t have my dog’s medication. They faxed the prescription request to my vet once, then told me to follow up with the clinic myself. After I handled that and the prescription was finally approved, the order still hasn’t shipped... four days later.

For days, their system has supposedly been down, and no one can tell me the status of my order. No updates. No clear answers. No sense of urgency.

My dog is sick and needs this medication. The lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. If your pet depends on timely delivery, I would not recommend ordering from here. I’ll be going back to Chewy, it may cost more, but at least their service and logistics are reliable.

Update 03/05/2026: After I reached out to them myself trying to find a solution, one of the representatives suggested creating a new order using the same information so it could arrive within 2 business days at no extra cost. That’s what we ended up doing.

At no point did anyone from the company contact me first. I had to reach out and push for a solution myself, especially after explaining that I would never order from them again and would switch to Chewy in the future.

I finally received the medication yesterday, but it arrived almost two weeks after I originally placed the order, and only because I followed up and pushed for a fix. Based on this experience, I won’t be purchasing anything from them again. When it comes to urgent medication, their lack of communication and urgency shows they simply don’t care.

I love the convenience of auto ship…

I love the convenience of auto ship instead of having to drive into town every month to pick up the prescriptions from the vet's office. They also have really good customer service.
