Beware - I had to call the Police

Beware
As a construction professional I want to give a little advice to potential customers of Allstate Exterior. I contacted Allstate via email, I ask them to contact me via, Allstate told me to call them. I told Allstate I wanted to conduct my business vis email (I like a record of “he said she said”), Allstate did not wish to do that – Red Flag One. Next, Allstate emailed me with many questions, here are two which is Red Flag Two: “Does your wife work days or nights?” “What would be a convenient day and time for you both to be home together?”. TRANSLATION: We want to send our salesperson, whom is trained for the “hard” sale, trained not to leave without signatures. Good companies do not operate this way. Price and quality should make the sale, not a person. I have hired hundreds of sub-contractors, my gut feeling, stay away from this company.
4:45 pm, After I said this, the CEO of the company, showed up in my drive, he got out and started to knock on my front very hard (I did not answer), then he went to the back front and knocked very hard – he just kept doing that and looking in the windows. My wife was frightened, I got on the phone with the police, the Allstate Exterior, finally left as I was on the phone with the police. That is no way to contact business

Craig,
We are so sorry that this is the first impression we gave you. During this reply, I will give you some more information about our business.

When you call into our office, or we call you, the first thing you hear is "this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes," we often refer back to these calls if we need to. We go through questions, get information about your project, and we pride ourselves in having a personal connection with our customers and community. We don't feel like that is possible via email, and we believe that too many companies are losing that personal touch and communication: We pride ourselves in having that because our number one core value is caring about people.

We are a very busy company, and many materials are on wait for weeks, maybe even months. That is why we like to have both home owners available to look at colors, materials, prices of those two things, etc so we can check into wait times for them. Often times, both homeowners like to have a say in color/material, and a big determination of what they choose sometimes depends on whether we can get it in a week, or in two months. This also has a huge impact on what your estimate may look like. As for being busy, we get as much information as we can during that first phone call to be sure our inspectors and project managers can work quickly and efficiently. After we give you the estimate (which can take 1-3 days depending on the difficulty of the project) it is entirely up to the homeowner(s) to decide if they would like to work with Allstate Exteriors.

Our CEO, Joe, was at a job right down the road from you. After you sent us the alarming review, after just 4 emails, he wanted to talk with you in person to let you know why we operate the way that we do, and why people love it! ☺️ When he knocked on your door, he said that he saw you through the window that is right next to your door, and you did not move when he knocked. He knocked on the other door, and still did not notice any movement. Then, Joe realized that the reason you may have wanted to communicate via email was because you may have been hearing impaired or potentially even deaf. At that point, Joe was determined to get your attention so that he could offer you a discount of our services for the confusion and his realization that we are not a company that is prepared to communicate with the deaf/disabled (blind, hearing impaired) community. After he could not get your attention, he got in his truck to leave your home. While pulling out, Joe motioned at you (while you were standing at your window) to pull back into your drive and you didn't motion him to pull back in, so he continued pulling out.

Hope this clears things up :)
