Do not use - SCAM

This is a scam that appeared when searching for RingGo (Hackney Council parking) for my Mother in Law. Her card was charged so she cancelled her card following this. Do not use!

Scammers Beware !!

Scammed by this filth trying to pay for a National Trust Car Park operated by Ring Go. They call it "piggybacking" where they jump in and you think you're paying car park charge. £29.99 then the same monthly was to be taken from my account so I cancelled my card immediately I was aware of this scam. I have contacted Ring Go and the National Trust on this matter but I won't hold my breath as both organisations simply do not care

Utter FRAUD

Trying to pay for parking and fell foul of this scam. I thought it didn't look right but was directed there by the local council website. Thanks to a quick check on the reviews here I managed to cancel the card before I was charged. Very slick scam, please don't fall for it like I did!

No idea who these people are... scam?

No idea who these people are however they have today deducted our bank account with £24.99.
Transaction dispute raised with the bank - have checked through all of our subscriptions but unable to establish who they are or what they provide - leaving me to believe that either husband or me have inadvertently clicked on a clink. Appears to be a scam for we have noting to show for our £24.99!

Beware of these scammers!

Would give this bunch of scammers 0 stars if I could. Only wish I had read these other reviews before. Got diverted to Alltainment following scanning a QR code to access photos from a stadium tour, with the promise of being able to cancel within five days and no monies being taken. I now can't contact anyone to cancel so have had to cancel my card! As someone else has said, Alltainment appear to be hacking QR codes/piggy backing.
UPDATE: The photo company are liaising with Google to stop these people!

Beware when trying to download parking apps

Tried to download a parking app in Preston which took me to their website. It looked as though you were entering your details for parking and then get a message to say you are signed up to Alltainment for a free 5 day trial and then £24.99 thereafter. Fuming, what a waste of time, had to cancel my credit card and request a new one.

A scam company operating out of Cyprus

A scam company operating out of Cyprus. Do not use this company. Double check who you share your card details with. The app looks convincingly like many genuine apps but only after signing up do you find that you have been misled. No way of reporting this app. Bank card cancelled to prevent any further fraudulent activity. No response to emails and the uk call centre doesn't exist. Don't be fooled

An absolute scam!!!!!(

I need to download an app for my workplace, Royal Mail, for view wages, holidays etc. When the app wasn't working I used to a QR CODE supplied on official letters from my employer for help and support. After scanning the QR code I was taken to a screen to put in bank details which I did (idiot) thinking it was confirmation of my identity from my workplace. How wrong was I. It caused unbelievable problems, I received numerous calls, text messages and emails from my bank, credit card company etc about fraudulent activity on my accounts. I ended up with a subscription I never wanted and goodness know what other problems I could have incurred. They have been reported to police action fraud. Total scammers. They hijack QR codes. Beware.

This is a scam

This is a scam, cannot even remember what I was trying to do when this popped up and asked for details , wouldn’t take money as 5 day free trial. Realised as soon as I had pressed button this was dodgy, emailed to cancel subscription immediately but they still took 24.99 5 days later. No answer from customer service phone number, will have to contact credit card company to stop money being taken.

I've had the same experience today as other reviewers. I was trying to pay online for parking in a Derbyshire Dales car park using PayByPhone. I put my details including bank card info into what appeared to be the parking website, but was unable to pay the £1.50 for parking. I later received an email from Alltainment saying I had subscribed to their entertainment package £24.99 a month after 5 day free trial. I've cancelled my bank card. Very dodgy.

I thought I was signing up to a legit company but just after I did the bank phoned to say they think it is a scam because they had taken £1 out of my account and when I looked again they were right. They have cancelled. Not sure how it went through because I accidentally put in my debit card details and noticed after they asked for credit cards only. Have received no e mail from them so not sure if I have subscribed or not but they still took the money from me. Don’t even know how to get in touch with them. Angry with myself for falling for this. 😡😡

Alltainment is a scam company

This company is a scam company. I was buying a parking ticket in a council car park on The Isle Of Wight where it is app only, no cash or card accepted.

Alltainment piggy back the app the Council force you to download when you go to buy your parking ticket. They then send you an email thanking you for commencing your free subscription for e-downloads and after five days you will be charged £24.99 a month. It isn’t really clear what service you’ll receive for this.

In realising the scam, I immediately called Alltainment and spoke to a staff member that cancelled my “membership”. They have also emailed me confirmation that they have “cancelled” my membership.

My bank HSBC is ensuring (as far as possible) they are not still able to charge me on a direct debit for their “services”.

Shocking that this fraud is able to exist.

Known scammers

Beware. This is a scam. Selling 'free' apps. Small print tricks you into signing up to a 5 day free trial then £25 per month. No means of cancelling the free trial so you are stuck with paying them £25 per month.
My credit card issuer phoned me to say these scammers had requested payment for £25 from my credit card account. Have had to cancel my card and order a new one. All unwanted hassle.

I went onto Apple TV on my Sky Q box

I went onto Apple TV on my Sky Q box, and went to the sign in page. A QR code appeared, which I scanned. This took me to the Alltainment site. As i believed this was part of Apple, I entered my debit card details for the five months free trial.
I then had an email from Alltainment saying that after 5 days I would be charged £24,99 a month for their entertainment package. I immediately contacted my bank, and cancelled my card, and blocked any payments to Alltainment. I have also let Apple know that they have been hijacked by scammers.
