I was robbed and blocked from withdrawing! I'd be broke if Topciphertrails hadn't intervened. Fake site

Site goes down with increasing frequency. Had NO access to my stock portfolio the entire day, Monday, 20 Oct. Message said it’ll be back shortly. No, DO NOT use their platform despite its relative simplicity. They clearly are not making a proper investment in it. On a day where the markets were up significantly, I was unable to take advantage of the situation. I’m very pissed off.

Website is down most of the time when up it logs you off immediately when u drill down to stocks

The most unreliable trading platform I have ever used. There are login issues or update issues at least once a month which prohibits the ability to make trades let alone accessing the accounts.

Terrible in app and browser experience. Spent hours trying to transfer my funds to my checking account without success. Dozen of verification steps, menus that eventually lead to a dead end. Tried the online chat - no response despite normal work hours. Terrible. Will transfer all my funds out immediately.

My Ally Invest account is constantly inaccessible, thus worthless. I'll be moving to a new trading platform soon. Ally Invest = SHIT.

Stay away. THE BUGS ARE NOT FIXED IN OVER A YEAR. THEY HAVE THE SAME ISSUES ON MOBILE. You will be locked out of your account for Days because they are restoring data from a backup. This Bank is not SECURE and they are NOT RELIABLE. Please do not use this bank for anything if you value money. App never works. Website is so buggy the MATH on your account is wrong until they restore everything from a backup??? Its completly unreliable. Every other day your account crashes and then they say they are restoring it from backup. Total Madness...You have been warned.

So much is bad, but yes you will make some trades at no cost. Reporting bad and minimal.
True return pctg ytd or over a time period requested is not available. Charge a huge amount for partial withdraw. Many functions online seem they were developed by foreigners or worse..They delete orders that are not close to exhausting cash

These people were the worst, most dishonest and still trying to get $10 from me when I have done zero stock purchases for months. I was redirecting my accounts back to my checking account and they refused to allow me to move my last $371. I had to call and spend a half hour with a lying individual saying that I needed to answer some stupid questions and he put me on hold rudely a million times. I told him, hey I’m at work as a delivery driver, don’t have time with this crap. Finally I moved my cash out that night to a trustworthy company (Schwab). Thank goodness. Still trying to get $10 from me like they did a month ago. I paid the previous but they can kiss my Irish butt. Stay away from them.

Was with Ally Invest for about 3 years until earlier this year. Here's what I ran into...multiple times over the last several months they have completely shut down their system on Saturday for 6 to 8 hours for maintenance which is when I do most of my investment analysis for the week - unacceptable. Do it overnight. Only way to get information out of Ally is via screen scrape and formatting once pasted to a spreadsheet is unusable - unacceptable. The screen views for realized gains routinely "lose" cost basis information. When I called they said it is likely correct at their clearing company and I need to submit a case to get it back which could take 1 week according to them - unacceptable. Overall their clearing company (APEX Clearing) and Ally Invest aren't integrated well and am routinely told the clearing company hasn't updated our information - unacceptable. Very limited views of holdings information including dividends and anything else beyond the basic cost and market information. When dividends post your holdings totals aren't correct until re-investment occurs. If you are an income investor their website is useless. I had provided instructions to email important documents. Ally Invest snail mailed Corporate Action Documents and I received one after Ally's cutoff date missing a buyback option - totally unacceptable. They charge $50 for Corporate Tender Offers which I have not seen with other firms. Problem is that if the TO's are oversubscribed and prorated the $50 eats into the potential gains significantly. My investment totals were wrong between the time I exercised TO's and the time they were closed the amounts being dropped from the totals on the screen. They are generally really nice to deal with but the frustration of the above has sent me elsewhere. And as a final send off the transfer process was disorganized requiring everything to be tracked in detail as much of it was wrong with large numbers being dropped in transfer. I have communicated each of these and get either no answers or bad answers.

I have had an Ally Investment account for a few years. They have very poor IT support. I own preferred shares. In an attempt to sell the shares, the system tells me I don't own the shares. I called customer service who acknowledged the problem and submitted a ticket to IT. This is NOT the first time this problem has occurred. I'm still waiting for the issue to be corrected. Meanwhile, I'm losing money on the stock. I've filed a complaint with FINRA. If you are interested in opening an online brokerage account, don't open it with Ally Investments.

I own 700 shares of New Residential Pfd B (NRZ.B). On August 1, 22 company changed its name and symbol to Rithm Capital (RITM.B). It has now been 30 days and my account still shows old security and symbol. I cannot buy, sell or do any thing with old security because it is an invalid symbol. I have been in touch with customer support since Aug 10 and have spent several hours trying to get this corrected. No success to date and no promises of when it will be corrected. My last resort is to file complaint with FINRA.

Ally has excel in CUSTOMER NO SERVICE, I am having one of the worst experiences with THEFT from an investment company. I am using every site possible to review them because people need to know how POORLY they treat their customers. it is a NO CUSTOMER SERVICE company. I had problems with the investment site not the bank site. they use fake information they buy from shady online sites to VERIFY their customers and refuse to accept that it is COMPLETELY FALSE. they refuse to transfer to a supervisor or manager when one is having any issue. they lock one's savings accounts and take them offline without giving one the option to verify from a reputable source or sources or official documents. there is NO COMMUNICATION via email or ONE phone call neither. I guess lesson learned but the lesson was very expensive by taking all of one's savings away without any hope of getting it back at any point in the future.

I was warned but i didn't listen. My son mocked me when i started having withdrawal issues and introduced me to a company that facilitated a successful withdrawal of my money.
