Absolutely disgraceful customer service. I was speaking apparently to one of the partners who used foul language and was very rude on the phone.
He then hung the phone up on me.
Avoid at all costs.

I booked a flying experience for my wife’s birthday months in advance and even called them yesterday evening to confirm that the flight was still ok and was told that it was. Having both booked a day from work I received a phone call 45 minutes before we were due to arrive telling me that there were no planes available because they were due for maintenance. I find it hard to believe that a professional company would not know that their planes were due for maintenance until 45 minutes before we were due to arrive. The customer service representative showed no interest in resolving this issue and when I asked for a refund I was bluntly told that I would need to contact the company that I booked the voucher with even though the flight was booked directly with Almat aviation Limited. Having looked at more reviews on this company it is apparent that this is quite a common occurrence so I would advise anybody wishing to purchase a flying experience not to do so with this company as there is a very good chance they will let you down. If their customer service on the ground is this poor then I certainly would not wish anybody to experience this level of poor service up in the air.

Totally disgusted at the level of customer service and lack of understanding from staff. I was given a (Flying Experience) gift for my 50th birthday which was booked through Activity Superstore. The experience was run by ALMAT Aviation based in Baginton, Coventry. As I’m based in London, I decided to stay overnight in Birmingham so that I can attend the experience in ample time for 13:00. My wife and son wanted to spectate which is also why we decided to stay close by, however at 16:00 on Friday I was notified by ALMAT, less than 24 hours before the experience that it had to be cancelled due to the allocated flying instructor having been taken ill. There was no alternative time offered on the day nor a alternative instructor sourced. On speaking with the customer service rep I got no help other than verbal apology and no offer to compensate or provide any discount or refund, instead they said you need to refer back to Activity Superstore and re schedule. We tried contacting Activity Superstore (before their closure time of 6pm) and the calls kept getting round-routed! The terms and conditions did mention the risk of short notice cancellation due to weather but there was no mention of any cancellations due to instructor resourcing issues. I would have expected sufficient contingency to have been put in place.

Giving this company a review is a waste of time . Very poor service and communication . Kept me waiting for a full two weeks making excuses that the aircraft was out of service and then lack off communication to tell me that they did no longer have access to the aircraft I wanted to do my type ratting in . This school is run my a ex police officer who has no management skills and no diligence or manners to respect people and does not understand the word communicate . Maybe he should have stuck to his police job . Overall, this school is if you can give it even that much respect a school that should be avoided . They put cheap Groupon deals to trap you . They will let you down last minute and Which has got noting to do with the weather . Poor management , lack of structure and very little customer focuse - all about Money .
