I am very impressed with Alncom. The installation was faultless with stability and broadband speed exactly as promised. The customer service has always been superb and pricing very competitive. Much of the village have switched to Alncom and I have yet to hear from anyone who hasn’t had great service. I would not hesitate to recommend Alncom to anyone who is thinking of changing their Broadband supplier.

Two separate things have impressed me.
Firstly the reliability of the service is excellent, particularly when compared to my previous broadband provider.
Secondly I recently had an issue where certain apps on the Android phones in my house would only open when not connected to the WiFi service. Even though this was a problem with the Android phones the Alncom technical desk continued to investigate the issue with patience and with prompt responses to my questions. Great to be able to communicate with a local human!

We use the internet for our business and had a sudden outage. Spoke to Rhian who went above and beyond what I would expect her standard duties to be to keep me informed as to the issue and timescales to be back online. I have always had fantastic service from Alncom and Rhian is in my eyes a great member to have on the Alncom team.

After years with, variously, the Post Office, Vodafone and Plusnet, our neighbour suggested Alncom and we haven't looked back. In excess of 100Mpbs for £25/month with good technical back-up, what's not to like?

I can always get an immediate response from Alncom be my enquiry technical or admin. All the people I have dealt with at Alncom have been friendly and helpful. I just hope that because they are so good that they will not be bought out or swallowed up by one of the giant providers/corporations. Keep going as you are Alncom but please do not raise the prices in the way that some of your competitors do.

Alncom are a local provider who provide a great service. Broadband is very rarely down and the really good thing is that they are always on the end of a phone. No hanging around, no messing about - they answer their phones and talk you through issues.

Looked around on reaching the end of our previous contract and looked at Alncom after recommendation from neighbours - very glad we did. We've had friendly and helpful service right from our first call to the office after looking at the packages on the web site, promptly arranging a visit from engineers to check on-site and discuss what we needed, where we wanted things, and to be sure we understood what would need doing, all at times to suit us. The office team explained the broadband voucher scheme which has funded the installation at no cost to us, and handled all the account setup in a timely way. The installation was quickly and cleanly done and the engineers proficient and friendly despite working in difficult weather - top team! Very pleased at the improved speed of our connection too, well up to or better than that discussed. Alncom highly recommended.

After months of wi fi issues with another provider we contacted Alncom with a view to getting full fibre broadband. The techs were onsite within a couple of days, turned up on time worked quickly and the installation took about 1 hour. A speed test in all rooms showed really quick upload and download speed - also the service has been very stable from the start. The customer services team were attentive, informative and made the process of switching from previous provider painless. Really good experience and would recommend highly

I have been with Alncom for 3 years. When I moved recently the easiest part of the move was the transfer of broadband. On the occasion there is a problem the service desk staff are very helpful, professional, and keep me well informed until resolution. After resolution they always confirm with me that everything is ok. Many much larger firms could benefit from copying the service standards that Alncom work to. I have dealt with many broadband suppliers both for work and home and have not found a single one that matches Alncom. I would recommend them to anyone.

After being with many internet providers in the past, I find Alncom have given me a first class service from 1st installation to contacting customer services for various queries.
For the minor problems I have had, I’ve had a great response from both customer services and engineers ensuring issues are rectified almost immediately. Thankyou Alncom for a great service.

Highly recommend. After less than acceptable service from BT over many years decided to go with local provider. No hard sell, no gimmicks and lovely to speak to actual humans. Very competitive pricing. Excellent helpline and out of hours service. Nothing was a bother.

I switched to Alncom from Sky for two reasons - one to bring my monthly bill down but also because the battle to get through to anyone helpful at Sky was becoming more and more of a struggle. I liked the quick turnaround from requesting the switch to getting everything set up (less than 24 hours!) and I appreciated the courtesy call yesterday to check everything was OK. I rarely hear my neighbours complaining about Alncom so I'm reasonably confident I've made a good call

We have been with Alncom for some time now and have had no problems at all with connectivity and have had no reason to call for any assistance at any time.
The initial installation presented a little problem in finding a route for the cable but this was overcome with minimum disruption and maximum efficiency by the installation team.
Quite happy with the speed and cost.

Had been with the "Big" Telecom company for home broadband and landline for many years. Fed up with hefty annual price hikes and no current access to full fibre speeds, I decided to research alternative broadband provision. Once our 24-month contract was close to ending I asked Alncom to initiate a check to see if we could be connected to their full fibre network. Two technicians turned up on the same day and confirmed that connection should be straightforward. I gave Alncom the go ahead straightaway and only a few days later we were connected to their Fibre 200 service and fully up and running, saving money against the previous supplier's contract (and without any mid-contract price hikes) while getting three times the speed. It's worth noting that (in our case) Alncom were able to run their fibre through the existing service ducts, so there was no need to dig up the garden or path and so there was no exterior disruption.
Given that we have lost our Digital Voice service we plan principally to use our mobile phones for calls but also wanted to retain our landline number. I signed up to a VoIP service (independent of Alncom) and arranged for the number to be ported across. This means we can continue to give out our home number to receive calls and also get up to 100 minutes of call credit for a few pounds a month. This approach works perfectly with the Alncom broadband service.
All the Alncom staff we dealt with - from pre-sales to technical to post-sales customer support - have been professional and courteous. The technicians were polite and extremely tidy in their work. Unusually in this day and age, everybody at the company who promised to do something followed through promptly with their actions and kept us updated with the status at every step. Needless to say, we are very happy with our decision to move to Alncom.
