Horrible company and service

Horrible company and service. After 2 payments, they charged the entire balance and couldn’t reverse it without me doing all the work. Have to get special approval which requires me getting a letter from the banking their letterhead proving the amount was deducted. Really? They have my money and I have to prove it???
I thought a y month bridge was a great idea and helped pay for a surgery without interest. Well it’s a heck of a lot easier to just go somewhere else or borrow from a friend. Worthless company don’t do business with them!!

I was so happy to get some improvement…

I was so happy to get some improvement to my body. I was approved for 5k.. However I was involved in a car accident and was not able to get the sessions done. They sent me a bill for over 4k. I immediately called them to dispute it. They didn’t go back to investigate my complaint. Never went back to see how many times I walked in that office. The office called me stating that I have a credit with them . I can come in for what ever I want. I informed the manager that I can’t get up on their chairs to perform anything. I walked in with a promo of 79.99 only two sessions. How on earth do I end up still having to pay over 2k for two sessions. I agreed to pay for the session I received. Everyone needs to be careful because this might be you. Never pay for something you didn’t receive!

WARNING!!! ALPHAEON CREDIT

ALPHAEON CREDIT — Consumer Warning

This company uses deceptive practices that consumers should be aware of before signing up. The interest rates are extremely high, reaching up to 35% APR, which can quickly turn a manageable balance into a serious financial burden.

The way the account is structured makes it easy to accumulate interest and difficult to pay down the balance efficiently. In addition, the platform is outdated and inconvenient to use. There is no proper mobile app, and the website is difficult to navigate, making basic account management unnecessarily frustrating.

Overall, this feels like a predatory credit product designed to trap users in high-interest debt rather than provide fair financing. Anyone considering ALPHAEON CREDIT should carefully review the terms and strongly consider other options before applying.

Proceed with caution.

WARNING Read before signing up for Alphaeon/Comenity promotional plans

I would give minus 10 stars if I could

I enrolled in two "deferred interest" promotional plans, thinking they worked like separate installments — one payment per plan, clearly divided. That is NOT how it works. The bank splits your payment between plans however they choose, with no option to direct funds to the plan expiring soonest. By the time I realized this, my oldest plan had accumulated a significant amount of hidden interest, despite me paying more than the minimum every single month.
To make matters worse:
— There is no option online to direct payments to a specific plan.
— When I called to request this, the representative (after a 20-minute call) said he "didn't understand" what I was asking.
— The bank has a well-documented history of canceling automatic payments without notice, then charging late fees.
The fine print does disclose their payment allocation method, but it is buried and written in a way that most people will not understand until it is too late.
I was lucky enough to catch this in time and financially organized enough to manage the situation. But after reading other reviews, I can see that many people are already struggling financially — and this bank will only make it worse. If you are going through a hard time, the last thing you need is a bank working against you.
If you are considering this card, go in with eyes open: always calculate exactly how much you need to pay each month per plan to avoid deferred interest, and never assume your extra payments are protecting you from expiring plans. They are not.

Don't fall for it!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this company

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a loan of $10,000 which I faithfully paid every month and my balance was down to $,411. Then Alpheon charged me $5,925 in interest, so now my balance on my loan is $10,185.70, more than the original $10,000 loan. Thios is outrageous. It is obscene that they charge 32.99% of past bal;ances when I made a payment every month. This is predatory lending.

Inefficient and incredibly annoying

I'm going to go easy here with a generous 3 stars since they have zero reviews here so far - but dang these people are inflexible and basically have the worst customer service ever. On the one hand, it looks like they help a lot of people get approved and it is a service used to pay medical services - so I want to be appreciative of that - however: I suspect many of the people needing their service then end up having huge issues and wasting a ton of money, because:
1 - they don't easily make it clear exactly how much you need to pay to avoid finance charges - even when you signed up under a 0% interest charge plan. They just tell you the minimum payment, and - to their credit - they do provide the scary information about what will happen if that's all you pay - great, thanks for that, but could you also make it clear what I do need to be paying? I had to email through their portal (annoying) - get a fantastically useless email back, try to follow up - I got ZERO response then, and finally had to figure out how to call which:
2 - they don't make it easy to figure out how to call them. Once you do call them:
3 - the people on the other end of the phone are not exactly enthusiastic, and aren't super clued-in, either. And if you have two plans:
4 - you have to manually call each month to make sure that the total amount you pay is allocated accordingly or, of course, you'll end up with interest fees despite actually paying the correct total!
5 - when you finally are able to schedule recurring payments (you have to wait to be able to do this) - they have a little info page that tells you about your promotional plans (the 0% interest rate deals), but they have zero information about what the regular payment has to be - honestly - they intentionally make this hella difficult - completely unnecessary and self-serving. I get it's a business - but the business model shouldn't be 'trick people into incurring fees'.
So basically - this 3 star is generous - because bottom line: in the interest of making a buck they are intentionally being difficult and obscure, which, quite frankly, undos the 'good' they supposedly do by providing an option to people who need it.
If you've signed up - make sure you call and get all the details you need and then stay on top of that every single month - super annoying. I wish I had just paid with my credit card - honestly, would have been easier and at least I'd have gotten miles out of this.
