horrifying place to go
This was a terrible place to go if you want any instruction, specifically the instructor called Ewan, he was extremely bad at teaching as all he did was shout. That is no way to teach anyone. Don't even get me started on his sexism. After this i went to Universal motorcycle training and it was fantastic. Spent so much money here yet I didn't learn a thing, after one session at Universal motorcycle training they taught incredibly well.

Dear Frohar, I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your training, but I feel you are being a little unjust. When you first started you had no balance or control, and it took considerable time to build your confidence. You made good progress once you started your ITM firstly with Ewan, and then with Richard. Unfortunately you then consistently would not use a life saver, or look over your shoulder, which is why we would not take you on the road. If you had not had that training you would not have succeeded with another school. Any concerns regarding sexism I would have hoped you would have reported to me at the time, but again difficult to understand given most of your training was 1 to 1. It is often difficult to hear instructions when you are wearing a helmet and concentrating on riding a bike, so we do on occasion have to raise our voice to be heard especially when there is no acknowledgement of being heard at all. To conclude if we have let you down we apologise profusely.

Many thanks to the team at Alpha especially my instructor Ewan, but also Jason and Graham for enabling a complete novice like me to pass DAS tests on the first attempt. Great result! If you are looking for a good school do not hesitate to use Alpha - you will get flexible, full days training on well maintained machines with fantastic instructors who care and take pride in their work. Trust me, it will be intense, you will get exhausted, you will get shouted at for your mistakes, but if you listen and follow their instructions you will pass. Thanks again Ewan and I hopefully I will see you soon again when I'm ready to improve my skills with further training.

Des was awesome ! Super patient and extremely thorough in every aspect of the course. If you want to know how to ride a bike safely and be very confident you got your money's worth then I recommend getting Des to teach you :) Cheers man !

At first I felt nervous as to how it will go. My instructor Des showed and thought me everything I needed to know which I understood clearly. Des teachings is one of the best and I highly recommend him. I can gladly say I feel more confident on the road now.

Excellent Service, Friendly and fun
I came here for my CBT, having not ridden a motorbike in my life. So I was a bit nervous at first as expected but everyone is so friendly here and the instructor I had, Des, was really good and knew what he was talking about and actually seemed like he cared and wanted the best for all of us. Great day, I had fun and managed to pass with no problems. Hopefully I will return for my full licence here are some point :D

The instructor (DES) made the course really easy. I didn’t expect it to be this easy cos I’ve never acc ridden a moped before. The only down side to the course was that it takes really really long just to do a couple manoeuvres otherwise it’s alright. If u get a chance to ask for which instructor to get ask for DES he was the most chilled instructor ever.

Thank you Sulayman. In response to your comment regarding the time taken for manoeuvres, it is essential that we get these right, so you ride without having to think about the controls riding so you can concentrate on traffic etc. when the time comes to go on the road.

Trainer named Des gave a good lesson easy to learn and get on with. Had no problem with the bike or learning experience feel like I've learned things I didn't know and now will be a safer rider for it. All in all good day learning i recommend all to go and learn with them, I genuinely have no complaints.

Great experience training with Jason
This review is long overdue I have used Alpha Motorcycle Training for over 5 years from my first CBT, A2 License and Full License upgrade.
Jason is probably one of the best instructors I have had and not just in terms of training. Jason helped me decide which bike to go for, he encourages you through every step of the training even with a bit of tough love at times but it is to make you the best rider you can be.
Training aside I had the pleasure to chat with Jason and Ewan one of the other instructors for quite some time and they both are funny individuals passionate about motorbikes and have a great background around bikes.
Graham always went the extra mile, before my a2 upgrade I crashed riding (not whilst training) and was in hospital he rearranged all my bookings with quite short notice and also got me booked in again as soon as I recovered. Before my Full upgrade I sent my license off and only realised a few days before once again he saved the day again. Overall is a great guy and willing to help and offers honest advice with regards to training. He also seems to have a talent for finding the best instructors.
