Waiting weeks for intercom to be fixed

Waiting weeks for intercom to be fixed. No one called for weeks then I recieved a letter booked an appointment that way. Told them bell dosnt work gave number. Wanted all day no one came or fixed the bell for whole block. Including disabled and vulnerable people after much begging they said would come next day waited all day only to be told they had closed the job. No bell working for 6 weeks. Post going missing and putting residents at risk. Job still not fixed. 0 stars another islington council mates rates scam wjere contracts are given to companies that dont do the job . Raise another job charge double

Would be 5 star if they finish the job

On Monday they installed a new security door in Kender street Newcross. The install was very very good with no corners cut. Trunking ran end to end instead of stopping midway. I was impressed. The sign they left said it would be locked in 24hrs so 3pm Tuesday.

9pm tuesday the block again stunk of weed because the youths who kept breaking in had simply walked in instead. 50 minutes on the phone to speak to hyde to get the door locking.

6am Wednesday I check the door and only the top magnet is engaging. As i will be paying 1/6 of the cost of the door which i expect will be expensive it would be great if it properly locks

So many lies, we don't feel safe!

Alpha Track came to our door, stating they wanted to fix our lock. We caught them (Jordan and Gareth were the names they reluctantly gave) making balife jokes about us which was very odd. The lock was not broken so I invited them to test the fire alarm. It then turned out they wanted to change a lock that wasn't broken to cover the fact they had changed the lock twice while we were out, which is a breach of the tenancy agreement and illegal. I reported them. Alpha track then submitted false accusations that I blocked their fire tests on multiple occasions during working hours when I was not even home. They did not provide the requested evidence. Even other contractors confessed that it had not happened.

This month, one of their fire safety operators (Sam is the name he gave) came to the front door, played with the door lock and left. He came back 2 days later, rang the bell and we let him in to test the alarm. I said "oh you came before, why didn't you ring the bell?" He said "yea I came a couple of months ago". I said "no, you came 2 days ago and didn't ring the bell why?" He then started to say something, stopped, got angry and left, slamming the door. I was not expecting that reaction! A strange man coming into your home and lying about when and why they came is alarming. What is going on?

Toxic company to work for

DON’T WORK FOR THEM!!.. I did for about Three and a half years and all they did was strip me of nearly all of my confidence!! Yes it’s easy for someone to slag a company off after the fact of working for them! But they have a very toxic environment from which they constantly and utterly destroy or try to destroy any person that is unfortunate enough to be employed by them!! I literally got to the stage of having to record conversations (which I still have) to prove I wasn’t going mad..I could list endless situations and experiences (all probable) but honestly just look at their staff turnover statistics and you’ll get the general impression

No show. Then lied about it!

I was given an appointment date so I rearranged my work schedule to ensure I had the day off. My appointment time was between 1-5 so I ensured I was in all day.
By 16:45 there was no sign so I called the office to make sure the appointment was still going ahead. I was told they should be with me within 30 minutes. I thought it was strange as their offices close at 5pm but I said no worries, Thank you.
An hour later still no sign. So I knew then, that they definitely were not coming.
I rang first thing Tuesday morning to ask what happened. I was told an engineer did call round at 3.30 but there was no answer. I replied I was in all day, and, how when I called at 16:46 I was told they would be with me within half an hour.
It is one thing to not turn up, or communicate that they would not be coming, but it is entirely something else when professionals lie to you. If anyone of my team treated customers/clients in this way I would be disgusted.

So Alpha tried came to fix the door on…

So Alpha tried came to fix the door on Friday the 3rd of October 2025 on Saturday, the 4th of October the door is now broken again which isn’t a surprise because they left it broken but because they didn’t come to fix that specific fault they left it obviously because they knew if they fixed it they wouldn’t of got paid so now they were quite happily leave the door broken waiting for a customer to call him to come and fix it so I can invoice the customer. It’s amazing seeing how it was them that fitted the door originally in the first place and it’s never worked properly since.. .

Failed to perform essential fire alarm safety work

This company was commissioned by the property management company which manages my apartment's block to perform fire alarm system maintenance. My flat was inaccessible on the two occasions that Alphatrack engineers turned up to do the work. They left slips of paper asking for me to call back to re-arrange an appointment, which I did, but they refuse to contact me back and confirm whether work is outstanding and when this will be rectified. This is completely careless and unprofessional behaviour especially since this is regarding fire alarm system maintenance, which could make a difference between life or death in an emergency. Absolute shambles and terrible service.

Abysmal customer service - office staff

Below comment applies to office staff.
Extremely poor customer service.
Alphatrack was supposed to visit to repair door entry systems, but I was stood up after waiting whole afternoon. No show.
When I telephoned to ask where the engineer was, I was offered an alternative appointment the following week. I accepted but asked the staff to ask the engineer to call me in the morning to let me know the approximate timing of his visit - after he has worked out his route/schedule. No call on the day.
Called the company, highlighting that I was already stood up. But the person Lois refused to call the engineer to ask, and repeated 6 times that the "approximate time of visit is between 8 - 1”. Then I was passed to a senior manager Hannah who did not help and said the "approximate time of visit is between 8 - 1”. Then she said she is going to terminate this call, and hang up on the inconvenienced customer.
It would have taken only one call from the staff/manager to the engineer to find out a better idea of timing, so as not to keep the customer waiting – again.
Abysmal service, with no respect or consideration for customers’ time.

Engineer’s service was good, in contrast. Polite and good service.
