Not worth it.

In my opinion, there are way better prop firms out there that I'd go to before using this Prop, thankfully my experience was through a FXAN promo where I essentially got the account "for free". Here's my experience

1. What's the use of having 1:100 leverage when there are asset lot size restrictions? Very small ones to say the least (5k is 0.60 lots across all fx pairs), at the same time there's no tool they implement that stops a trader from mistakenly or unknowingly opening a higher lot,if they do..the account is breached..and they would only mst likely find out after passing the phase process and having their account reviewed..which seems like a intentional method to reduce the Passing statistics.

2. Support is utterly slow to respond, after having a ticket opened on discord for more than 12hours,I decided to just leave the group as support seems non existent there.

3. I noticed in one of the comments of a trader who was refused a live account even though he never breached any rules, but they deemed his trading "all in or risky"...imagine passing a drivers license but at the end the instructor refuses to give you your license even though you adhered to all road rules and driving tactics properly, but just because he feels that the way you change gears is "unsafe" even though you're doing it correctly in regards to the rules implemented??

4. All in all, I'd save this prop firm as the last case scenario, there are way better established props out there doing a much better job where your money would be more safe at.

I passed my Phase 2 challenge and received my contract code, but the system says “Complete KYC before signing”. When I try KYC, it says “Not yet eligible” or “Try again”, which blocks me from proceeding.

I’ve contacted support but haven’t gotten a response yet. Please assist me in resolving this issue quickly so I can activate my funded account.

What a shame

What a shame. A lot of us already see what Alpicap is really doing. They don’t have enough real money coming in to pay traders, and that’s why they keep making up excuses and acting shady. Instead of being honest, they flood review sites with fake positive comments just to trick new traders into signing up—only to cheat them later.

Their usual trick? Once too many traders are funded, they start randomly terminating accounts to avoid paying out. Unlike legit firms like FundedNext, FundedTop, TFT and others—who actually show clear reasons and real proof when they close an account—Alpicap does it silently. No warning, no proof, nothing. It’s just a matter of time before more people catch on to how they operate.

MY HONEST ADVICE TO OTHER TRADERS:

1. Don’t believe the fake reviews online.

2. If you’re still curious, test them with a small $5K–$10K account—nothing more.

3. When they eventually shut down your account for “group trading” or some other fake excuse, don’t even bother asking them for proof. Just go ahead and file a complaint, especially if you paid with a VISA card or through a bank transfer—you might be able to get your money back.

I quit the moment I found out others had the same experience—getting kicked off for group no real reason and without any explanation or proof.

Alpicap is a fake, and sooner or later, the truth will come out.

I have passed both phase and waited for funded account. Instead of giving funded account I got an email from risk team telling me I have hard breached the account because of group trading which I dont have any clue about it. I request them to review again and to provide proof. But no response from them for past 5 days. I contacted the web online support and told me they can't do anything. Why there is no transparency. Such kind of activity would hamper this prop. I deserve to get funded account after all these hard work. I strongly suggest not to buy this prop. On of the worst prop ever I face.

I got response after giving review here through email. I challenge the evidence which you fail to provide accusing of identity usage. I strongly felt you are cheating us. Why you are not open to prove it. Just by telling assumption is not fair enough. I know you kick me out from discord without proving. I asked you to provide what are the evidences? I know you will run away by saying blah blah .

For those who read my review please be carefull:
1. I used only one mobile phone. ( II don't know how it is identity usage)
2. I do trade alone( they accused me of group trading/ trading behaviour)
3. They don't want to give me coz I got the challenge at discounted prices. I know they will stop replying.

Dear Bngsu Moirangthem,

Your review is not only misleading but a clear attempt to shift blame after being caught violating our platform’s rules.

Our Risk and Compliance team conducted a thorough investigation and found irrefutable evidence that your identity was being used by another individual to operate the account. This is a serious breach of our Terms of Use — specifically concerning identity misuse and group trading, both of which are strictly forbidden at Alpicap.

You were informed of this in writing. The claim that there was “no response” is false — we responded with a clear decision. You then demanded evidence, which we do not provide to banned users, as it could be used to manipulate our systems in the future. We are not obligated — nor willing — to help individuals who attempt to deceive our company.

Leaving a 1-star review after knowingly violating our policies, and portraying yourself as a victim, is dishonest and damaging — not just to us, but to the trust we work hard to maintain with our legitimate traders.

Alpicap will always prioritize integrity, transparency, and the protection of its trading community — even when it means making difficult decisions.

Funded account Breached after Passing PH1 and PH2

I passed Phase 1 (Account No. 656339) and Phase 2 (Account No. 659612) of the challenge, completed KYC, signed the contract, and was given a funded account (Account No. 661357). However, my funded account was never enabled. While I was waiting for the account to be activated for trading, I received an email stating that my account had been breached due to "gambling."

Confused, I contacted customer support to understand what they meant by "gambling." They told me I would receive an email from the risk team. When I did, they claimed that I risked too much on a single trade (4%), had poor risk management, and was engaging in high-risk trading. However, nowhere on the Alpicap website FAQ does it state that risking 4% on a single trade is not allowed. In my response, I clarified that I had taken 4% risk on a few trades after confirming with their live chat support that this was acceptable, and I attached screenshots of the conversation to prove this. I also pointed out that I had adhered to all the rules listed on their FAQ, including lot size, no martingale, no tick scalping, and that all of my trades had proper stop losses and take profits in place.

Despite offering to reduce my risk to 1% on the funded account, I received a reply stating that none of my trades had stop losses. This was extremely puzzling because I had always traded with stop losses. Upon checking my Match Trader account, I confirmed that all of my trades had stop losses and take profits. I then checked the dashboard and realized there was a technical issue: my dashboard was only showing the open and close prices along with profit/loss, but not the stop loss or take profit values. I took a screenshot of my Match Trader trade history, explaining that it was a technical error, and sent it to risk team. Since then, I have received no further response.

While they did refund the fees I paid, I also noticed that the dashboard was showing "DX Trader" for my Phase 1, Phase 2, and funded account stages, even though I used Match Trader. This was just another error in the system.

Overall, my experience with Alpicap has been frustrating. The technical issues with the dashboard and the way my account was handled made me feel unfairly treated. I’ve never written a 1-star review for any prop firm before, but my experience with Alpicap has led me to do so. I’m not saying Alpicap is a scam, but I do believe that the risk assessment was unfair, and due to technical errors, my account was breached and all my hard work was wasted.

I advise future traders to be cautious, as these technical issues could potentially affect your account as well.

Edit Reply to Alpicap response

With all due respect, I would like to clarify a few key points that were misrepresented in your response.

Firstly, I have never risked 100% of my daily drawdown in a single trade. That is simply not true. The maximum I ever risked was 4% on a few trades—and that too with proper stop-losses in place. I only did so after confirming through your live chat that there is no fixed "risk per trade" rule. I also provided screenshots of that conversation as proof.

Secondly, you mentioned that my account was reviewed directly on the trading platform. If that’s the case, then why did I receive an email from your risk team after the account was breached stating that none of my trades had stop-losses? If the review was truly done on the trading platform, then this would have been clear from the start. Your team should have already known that my trades had stop-losses, and I wouldn’t have needed to send screenshots from Match Trader to prove it.

Thirdly, I even offered to limit my risk to no more than 1% per trade on the funded account, and I would’ve done the same during the challenge phases if this had been communicated earlier. I was—and still am—willing to follow a more conservative approach if that’s what’s expected.

Yes, I have received a full refund, and I appreciate that—I even mentioned it in my original review. But respectfully, a refund doesn’t really compensate for the time, effort, and emotional energy put into passing both phases. If the refund was the only goal, I wouldn’t have taken the challenge in the first place.

Once again, I want to make it clear: I am not calling Alpicap a scam or fraud. I am simply sharing my personal experience—what happened to me—and I believe it’s only fair for others to be aware of the challenges I faced.

Dear Farooq,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand your frustration and are sorry to hear that you felt the process was unfair. However, we would like to clarify the reasoning behind our decision.

At Alpicap, we are committed to building a long-term, sustainable firm that guarantees all payouts to our traders. In order to do this, we have strict internal risk assessment procedures in place—not just to evaluate rule violations, but also to assess the trading behavior and risk approach of those we fund.

While you may have met the basic rule requirements, our risk team identified a repeated pattern of excessively high-risk trading, where up to 100% of the daily drawdown limit was risked in a single position, on multiple occasions. This type of behavior is not aligned with the standards we expect from our funded traders.

We are looking to work with genuine, consistent, and responsible traders, not those who look to exploit the limits of the rules. Trading with a “pass-at-all-costs” mentality and risking full breach in one trade is not a sustainable or professional approach, and we do not tolerate such practices, even if they do not explicitly breach the FAQs.

Regarding your concerns about technical discrepancies between Match-Trader and the dashboard—thank you for bringing that to our attention. While the display on the dashboard may have caused some confusion, your account was thoroughly reviewed directly on the trading platform, not solely based on dashboard data. Our conclusion was not based on missing SL/TP fields, but rather on your overall risk profile.

We did issue a full refund of your evaluation fee as a gesture of goodwill, which reflects our commitment to fairness even in difficult decisions.

We appreciate your efforts and understand that this outcome may be disappointing, but our priority is to protect the integrity of our funded program and maintain a reliable model that benefits serious traders long-term.

We wish you the best in your trading journey.

Dear Cherry,

Thank you for your feedback, and we're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how important every dollar is, and we never take that lightly.

We’d like to clarify a few points:

The trading platforms we offer—DXtrade, cTrader, and Match-Trader—are third-party platforms. While we do our best to provide stable access, we do not control the technical performance of these platforms. We’re sorry to hear that DXtrade didn’t meet your expectations, and we encourage you to explore our other available platforms (cTrader and Match-Trader), which many traders find reliable and user-friendly.

Regarding the position size: opening a 0.20 lot position on XAUUSD is not a breach of the account rules. We do encourage careful risk management, but the position size alone would not lead to failure.

We appreciate your honest review and hope you’ll give us another chance in the future. Should you have any specific concerns you'd like us to look into, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team directly.

Wishing you success in your trading journey.

Kind regards,

ALPICAP
