Non existent or callous customer service. Purchased two Seastrongs, bezel popped off both (one lost) + crown failed on one of the watches. Contact for within warranty repair - repair partner offers to sell me a replacement CASE for nearly same price as watch. Contacted Alpina sporadically for 2 years, seeking assistance replacing bezel... crickets. Shockingly inept customer service team, or brand management.

I'm the happy owner of 2 Alpina Sartimer watches (44 mm-versions). Both of them has an excellent finish, great design and a impressive time keeping. They are also very comfortable and easy to read. Now, I'm looking for a vintage Alpina watch as well.

I hate leaving bad reviews for companies, but I need to warn people to NEVER purchase an Alpina timepiece. I bought a brand new Alpina Alpiner GMT and it started losing time. The seconds hand kept getting stuck at the 12:00 position. I've looked up reviews and other people have had the exact same issue. Anyways I sent the watch in to the Los Angeles repair facility and they quoted me $389 for a gasket replacement! That's the full price of the watch brand new! Also the watch is only two years old and they claim to have a three year warranty period...such a crock of crap! This company does not stand by it's product or it's terms! DO NOT buy from them! You have all been warned!

As Watch collector, worst experience that I ever had and worst product quality ever perceived. I purchased Startimer Pilot automatic directly from Alpina website. After one year screw down crown failed (it seems a common issue on this model) and I didn't received any kind of assistance. Local repair center refused to support me under warranty considering it expired even if coverage period is two years by legal terms and Alpina customer service (or Frederique Constant team) is not helping even after repeated claims.

Just a Joke of customer service.
So bought a watch, crown failed, sent it back 6 weeks later got it back.
5 wears later the crown failed again.
In between I’d bought another alpina it’s not a screw down crown so, so far it has been ok but has the most imbecilic waterproofing for its class.

If you want a middle of the road “swiss watch”, all the history but none of the service then by all means get a Citizen, my bad I mean buy an Alpina and enjoy all the benefits of shocking customer service and shoddy workmanship.

Cheap for a reason and think about that now Glycine has been bought by a similarly shoddy company needing to add “quality” to its stable.

I bought an AlpinerX smartwatch on their webside. I keeps power for about 5 hours and has been in Switzerland twice for repair - but it is returned to me with the same fault.
I wish to cancel the purchase - which I am entitled to in Denmark, but Alpina refuse.
My advice do not buy watches from Alpina
