I paid a €1,500 premium for a "VIP Class" return transfer (Geneva to Alpe d'Huez) specifically for a Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series. Despite a written guarantee from their team on March 16th that "the driver will have the exact vehicle you requested", Alps2Alps executed a textbook bait-and-switch on both legs of the journey. On the arrival leg, they substituted the S-Class with a Tesla Model Y, claiming that "other VIP vehicles will not be able to drive in 30cm snow". This was proven to be a scripted fabrication; a colleague who booked the same VIP service three days prior—during perfectly clear weather—was assigned the exact same driver and Tesla, proving they simply do not deploy the VIP fleet they charge for. To make matters worse, the driver (Izzeddine) attempted to solicit an additional €90 cash payment for "snow tires" upon arrival.
The return leg was even more insulting. Despite their previous claim that an S-Class lacked the ground clearance for snow, they sent a Peugeot 308. This is a front-wheel-drive economy hatchback that is lower to the ground, less safe in Alpine conditions, and categorically a "Standard/Economy" vehicle. When I challenged this, they hid behind "Customer Care escalation" rather than honoring Section 2.3 of their own Terms, which mandates a refund for downgrades. If you book VIP with Alps2Alps, expect to pay for a Mercedes and ride in a budget hatchback. I am currently disputing the entire €1,500 charge with my bank for "Service Not as Described." Save your money and book with a company that actually owns the cars they advertise.

From the very beginning to the end, the service and driving experience were perfect.

I booked return airport transfers with Alps2Alps for a family ski trip (Milan Malpensa to Breuil-Cervinia, and return to Turin Airport in February 2026).
The outbound journey was a serious failure. On arrival at Milan, no driver was waiting as arranged. After messaging via WhatsApp, we were redirected to a different pickup point, and the driver did not speak English, making communication difficult.
More concerning was the safety of the vehicle. As we approached the mountain area, it became clear the van did not have winter tyres. The vehicle repeatedly lost traction, eventually spinning and hitting a roadside barrier. Despite this, the driver attempted to continue before becoming completely stuck on a hill. No meaningful assistance or alternative transport was offered. We had to arrange our own rescue via our hotel, which collected us from the roadside about an hour later. Notably, all other vehicles on the road were properly equipped and had no issues.
Following this, I requested a full refund (approx €400 value). The company initially offered €70 plus a voucher, then increased this to €104.17 (around 30% of what they claimed was the fare). I disputed both the amount and their valuation of the journey. Despite acknowledging the situation and apologising, they repeatedly resisted a full refund.
Only at the point where I was about to initiate formal legal action (after a pre-action letter and 14 days) did they agree to refund the full amount.
The return transfer was completed without issue, but based on this experience—particularly the lack of proper winter equipment, inadequate handling of a dangerous situation and attempting to avoid a refund —I would not use this company again.

The driver from Courchevel to Geneva was terrible. Arrived late, then claimed he wasn’t going to take us because we had skis (the reservation included skis). After we said we would get an Uber, he threatened to call the police. Then he said he would take us, but only if we paid him extra (in cash) for the skis. We had no option at that point so we went with him. Before we got to the airport, he stopped and demanded the money. He became very aggressive and we feared for our safety. We paid him and he finally dropped us off. Alps2Alps was little to no help during the ride. Then after requesting a refund, they only refunded the extra amount we paid for the skis. They should have refunded the cost of the trip since it was so stressful and unsafe. I will never use them again.
