Helen was by far the best instructor I’ve had, she is professional friendly and patient. I had some issues regarding lessons with a previous instructor and Helen picked me up as a student short notice and was very accommodating. I honestly can’t express enough how much of a great experience I had with this driving school as Helen as my instructor made it the best possible experience building my confidence after failing my test previously. Helen made lessons fun and enjoyable ! I honestly can’t thank her enough !

It was so easy to book lessons in with alps and the pricing is what led me to choose them.
I picked Vaida as my instructor who was so calm, bubbly and a great teacher! I started off as a stressful driver but she calmed me down and helped my nerves.
Her calendar was flexible and close to my test date she really prioritised my lessons.

I honestly can't thank Vaida enough. She's been absolutely brilliant as a driving instructor. After several disheartening experiences with another instructor who left me anxious and doubting I'd ever get the hang of driving, meeting Vaida from Alps Driving School completely changed everything.

From day one, everything felt different. She was calm, incredibly patient, and so supportive. Never once raised her voice or made me feel rushed, even when I was struggling. Her gentle, reassuring way of teaching created such a relaxed atmosphere that I actually started looking forward to lessons instead of dreading them.

What I loved too was that Vaida's just lovely to be around. She has this natural way of keeping things light and positive, always putting me at ease with friendly chat and a genuinely uplifting attitude. It never felt awkward, just like learning with someone who really wanted me to succeed.

She was such a reassuring presence throughout everything. Whenever I felt anxious or doubted myself (which, let's be honest, was pretty often), she'd be there with kind words and this unwavering belief that I could do it. What really impressed me was her patience when I kept making the same mistakes over and over. Instead of getting frustrated, she'd stay calm and help me figure out what was going wrong and how to fix it.

Leading up to my test, I was convinced I wasn't ready and genuinely thought about postponing. But Vaida wouldn't let me give up on myself. She reminded me how far I'd come and gave me the confidence I desperately needed to just go for it.

What really sets Vaida apart is how much she genuinely cares about you succeeding and doing well. It's not just a job to her. She's properly invested in helping you reach your goal. When I needed to book lessons, especially during busy times, she always did her best to fit me in, often juggling her schedule to make it work. Even when she wasn't feeling great, she'd still turn up with the same positive energy and commitment. That level of dedication is honestly rare.

I also really appreciated how much she packed into every lesson. There was never any pointless driving around. Every session had structure and purpose, focused on actually helping me improve. And here's something that really stood out: if we got stuck in traffic and she felt too much time had been wasted, she'd actually cut the lesson short to save me money. That kind of honesty and integrity is pretty special and shows how much she respects your time and money.

Her teaching style is spot-on too. Unlike some instructors who waffle on with complicated explanations, Vaida keeps everything clear and practical. She's brilliant at breaking down tricky manoeuvres into simple, manageable steps. Whether it was roundabouts, bay parking, or parallel parking, she always had straightforward techniques that actually made sense.

But what really made the difference was how she taught me proper driving judgement, not just the basics of controlling the car. She helped me understand the really important stuff, like knowing when it's actually safe to go at roundabouts, when to drive defensively, and how to effectively overtake. These are the skills that separate someone who can scrape through a test from someone who's genuinely confident behind the wheel.

After I passed my test, Vaida gave me the most thoughtful gifts. I won't spoil what they were, but they were so brilliant and clearly chosen with such care that I'll treasure them. It's these little touches that show just how much she genuinely cares about her students beyond simply getting them through their test. It meant the world to me and was the perfect way to celebrate such an important achievement.

Now I've passed and will be driving independently, I'm honestly going to miss her. She's one of those people who leaves a real impression. I'll always remember her kindness, patience, and that unshakable belief she had in me. She didn't just teach me to drive. She gave me confidence I didn't know I had.
