Weber EG-1 grinder
Prior to purchase i had asked AB a few questions about the grinder which they very quickly answered. Once the item was in stock i placed my order, #531704, and the grinder was delivered very quickly.
I noticed one of the burr sets were missing from the box so again i emailed AB and they were very apologetic and sent me the missing part the next day via express post. Brilliant service from AB and will highly recommend them to anyone. The grinder itself whilst not cheap, is a work of art and produces some amazing coffee. It is such a pleasure to use and always a talking piece when guest come over.

Atmos Vacuum Canister from Alternative Brewing
My machine works best with very fresh beans. Each day I have to dial the grind to be finer to account for the beans ageing and each day the coffee gets worse and worse. I bought an Atmos vacuum canister from Alternative Brewing to keep the beans fresher for longer. It arrived within a couple of days and it works better than expected. Normally, I need to change my grind every day over the course of a week, but now I can pretty much get though the week with only one grind change mid week and still get a beautiful crema with every pour. Well worth it if you love your coffee.

Alternate Brewing - Normcore Accessories
Have purchased a range of products from Alternate Brewing (AB), most recently from the Normcore product range; a tamp base, puck screen and a cleaning brush.
All products are of high quality are easy to use and work really well with my Breville Dual Boiler and Grinder.
AB had these items shipped out to me so quickly and products were packaged and protected well.

Avoid at all costs
Alternative Brewing could be a case study for how not to treat your customers.
Bought a product that has one job (weigh coffee) that it can’t do - not even close.
Constant back and forth emails all signed off from different people. I’ve sent 26 emails to date over a scale that is wildly incorrect after a couple of weeks use.
They requested videos; I supplied them. Even after saying this showed well the problem, and having other people report the same issue with the same item (they said they hadn’t - but the comments were even there on their own YouTube review video!), and me posting back the item - they have not agreed to refund. When I mentioned my rights, they made fun of me.
Any normal business would refund the money - no questions asked. The issue is then between them and the manufacturer.
One of the worst businesses I’ve ever known.

Manual grinder at Alternative Brewing
I ordered 1Zpresso Q2 S Coffee Grinder (Order Number: #523539) at Alternative Brewing to do coffee in a moka pot. I’m just a coffee beginner who decided to change his coffee preparation routines from capsule machines and occasional Turkish/moka coffee pot preparations. I really enjoy the process of grinding and subsequent coffee preparation. The scale system on the grinder is quite easy to use once you get it and provides with a lot of options for different coffee preparation methods. So far, the grinder works perfectly for moka coffee.

Great Grinder - Fellow Opus
I bought the Fellow Opus grinder the other day and have no regrets. Grinder is easy to use and has a great range of grind sizes. It’s been great for stovetop Moka pot and filter coffee. There is a decent amount of retention between grinds, but I would say that’s to be expected at the price point. Overall a really great value grinder which has served me well
Everything was super easy through Alternate Brewing. Dispatched very efficiently and all arrived safe and sound!
