We've recently had window film fitted to patio doors and windows. Darren provided an excellent & efficient service. The product was explained in detail prior to installation to ensure we got exactly what we required. Good service and product I highly recommend Smashgard.

It's just over two weeks since our window film was installed. We are very pleased, both with the quality of service and the quality of the product. Our living room has a large front window, which means passers-by are always looking it. Not any longer! Our kitchen patio doors have also been coated. the room is south facing, and used to get very hot in the afternoon, making it hard to work in. But with the application of Smashgard film, the temperature has reduced significantly on sunny days.

Darren was efficient and did a great job on the installation - the film is invisible from the inside of the house and opaque from the outside.

We are very pleased.

I came across Smashgard window films by accident when looking for blinds online one day, and I'm really glad that I did. Several weeks after installation, we no longer have people continually staring into our large living room window as they walk past; in fact, they don't even look in this direction at all any more, which feels very strange (in a very good way), having spent the last 6 years smiling and waving back at them / averting eye contact whilst sat on the sofa!!

Darren and Lynne are very helpful, professional, warm and friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure our experience was a good one. We went for the lighter film which is very effective. It does darken the front room very slightly and change the tone of the daylight in there, so do be prepared for that, but that's a tiny compromise for the massive gain in privacy. We also had the white frosted film fitted to our windows in the bathroom and en suite which I really like. It seems to ADD light to the rooms and looks really slick.

I originally got Darren to visit and assess my windows in 2009 and had solar privacy film applied to most of the windows in the house in 2010. I was impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. I have been very happy with the film and the privacy it delivers. This year I responded to a letter from Smashgard advising of their new location. It was very timely as I was aware that a couple of panes were showing their age and that over time I was aware that a different level of solar protection would be beneficial due to the aspect of the house. I discussed this with Lynne and subsequently Darren returned to replace the films and upgrade them. I am again very satisfied with the product and the installation.

Darren gave excellent advice prior to fitting the films, he was very professional at all times making sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. We could tel he even been in our house when he had finished. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his staff to anyone who wants films fitted.

Darrin’s professional service and quality is absolutely excellent.
He came around a second time to our house( which by the way is over 50%windows)to put film.He is unflinchingly honest and gave us the best advise even though it meant less business for him. I cannot recommend him highly enough.I want to give a big shout out to Lynne as well she is so helpful and patient.

Just brilliant all round! Darren came to fit window film to our front windows and white frost to our bathroom door. During covid I have found them very accommodating when I had to move the first installation date. Throughout the whole process Lynne has been so helpful and when Darren came to the house he explained everything and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. The film has worked exactly as we had hoped. My husband even said to me 'has he not done upstairs?' - Darren had, so that shows you that you are not even aware that the film is even on the windows! Excellent all round. Would not hesitate to recommend these lovely people.

We seem to have musical rooms at our house.
My bedroom moved to downstairs front, which is great but I need something for privacy & our dog likes to sit on the windowsill have a snooze & watch the world go by, so blinds, nets & shutters were out. I them came across alternative to nets. I sent in measurements for a price & booked in. They came when they said they would & cracked on. I'm more than pleased with it. I can sit in my chair & read by the window, no one can see in & I can keep my dog company watching the world go by! Our postlady is very impressed with it & recommended it to a lady on her round. Plenty of friendly communication before & after. Definitely recommend this company, even my husband (the born sceptic) is impressed, so must be good!

I've just finished fitting privacy film to my front bay window. The fitting instructions that came with the film, once carefully read through 2 or 3 times, were very clear and as it suggests, I took my time and didn't rush.
The results are brilliant and I'm very happy.
