Darren is a true professional. Made a fantastic job of our windows and we would not hesitate to have further windows transformed. We would highly recommend this company, from the first point of contact with Lynne to arrange a fitting date; she was very helpful, polite and friendly.

We are very pleased with the window films and they do exactly what says on the tin! It’s so nice to roll up the blinds and enjoy the sunshine without worrying about passersby looking in. Darren is very professional and friendly, the service throughout is excellent!

What a fantastic company - Darren is so professional, thorough and approachable. He has provided a wonderful alternative to net curtains for us which gives us the privacy we wanted in our new home. (Huge windows). We can now have all of the curtains open all the time, enjoy our views and not worry about anyone seeing in. The best thing is that they are so neutral it is hard to tell the difference between them and the others without the film on.
I would highly recommend this option and this company. Darren is great and Lynne (Office Manager) was so lovely and helpful too.

Excellent product and great service! The film has reduced all glare and I'm looking forward to seeing the full effects in the summer. I had originally chosen a cheaper film, however upon arrival Darren explained that due to the size of the panes there would be a lot of wastage. He provided a free upgrade to the more superior film, which I was thrilled with. Recommend 100%!

Had this film fitted to front window which is right on edge of path, which everyone walking by on, so much better, can sit by window and still got privacy.

Two words to describe Darren - polite and professional. Turned up on time to fit film to my conservatory roof. It is a purpose built roof with a number of “oddly” shaped frames mixed with a number of conventionally shaped frames. It is a large conservatory and took Darren the best part of two days to complete. Throughout the period of fitting Darren was very courteous towards my wife and myself. The end result has seen a significant reduction in the build up of heat from the sun without losing too much in the way of light. Almost all the glare has gone and we are mightily impressed with the results achieved. Cost wise, it was very reasonable and cheap in comparison to the estimated cost of roof blinds. So impressed were we that we asked Darren to come back and fit the film to the conservatory windows. This has increased the insulation and has given us more privacy. Would highly recommend.

The company have fitted film on a number of our windows and I would highly recommend them. They are reliable, really helpful and the products themselves work really well for us. Excellent, friendly and helpful service.

They went thru what was available for our front windows to help keep the heat and bright sun light out, doesn't stop all of it but a lot better than it was. Stops ppl being able to look in unless the lights on.

I had previously used the services of a London-based company to install neutral privacy film on my house. The quality of the installation was very poor, with various bubbles, scratches and dirt beneath the film. It looked an eye sore! In addition, the film itself made the rooms overly dark and depressing.
I called Alternativetonetcurtains/Smashgard and Darren literally saved the day. The quality of his work is flawless, he is very professional, conscientious and knowledgeable and the film he used restored the light levels within my property while maintaining the privacy I required due to living in an overlooked new build. If you are considering this type of product for your property, I have no doubt that both the quality of the film and the installation is the best you’ll find anywhere.

An excellent product. We had it installed in our conservatory. It gives us privacy without having messy blinds and curtains.
