Bad experience with 12V battery
I bought a Kia EV6 from their department in Ballerup. The purchasing experience was fine, but as the car approached 2 years the 12V battery started to give up, which meant the car had problems starting. I took the car to the Glostrup department who tested the battery overnight, and assured me there was nothing wrong with it (it was still within the warranty period).
In next few months the battery rapidly degraded to the point where I can no longer start the car without having to attach a jump starter - what a great experience - a 2 year old car that won't even start. We've even followed all their mechanics crazy ideas about turning the lights on and off when starting the car and I don't know what, but to no avail.
As I'm now past the warranty period for the 12V battery (24 months). Kia now refuses to pay for the battery even though I had them test it within the warranty period - and it has not operated properly since. But that doesn't seem to change their mind. I just can't make sense of their refusal to pay for the battery. Their "test" clearly doesn't work - and they've wasted so much of my time and their own, instead of just putting in a new battery which surely would have been cheaper for them also by now.
I should mention they have offered to put in the new battery for free (so long as I pay for it) - but honestly that takes like 20 minutes to do so, and I would be perfectly capable of doing so myself so that's not really helping me.
Edit (17/04/24): Time had passed and I'm less frustrated now that you have replied you'll look into the case. So I'm bumped this review to two stars, as I have otherwise had good customer service from you and purchasing experience otherwise.
