Delivery left on doorstep

This is the 2nd time in a row where the delivery was just left on the doorstep. The door is right on the street and could be taken by anyone passing by. It’s really hard to contact Amazon and the first time I persevered and complained and they raised the issue and said it wouldn’t happen. The very next time it happened again. How hard is it to hand a package to the recipient? How hard is it to tell the courier todo their job properly. Not helped by the fact then when you order it says delivery on a specified date, and then it’s delivered on a different date. It’s not possible to reorganise plans to accommodate amazons delivery process that does not work

Customer service a waste of time and not helpful at all

Firstly one star is far too generous

After numerous times of contacting customer services I’m still getting nowhere with them processing my refunds which I’m owed quite a bit on returns on low quality products I’ve ordered and had to send back…

All I get is the same old story of once we receive the item your refund will be processed….well royal mail confirmation emails prove all items have been sent back but Amazon status is showing nothing in my account….

Had amazon prime for years

Had amazon prime for years. I am done with amazon
bought dvd player from them well 2 actually one sold by them which finished off my tv. That went back The other Sony which turned out sent by amazon sold by a seller to be made for USA/Canada had a limited one year warranty that in fact would be worthless in the uk had a uk plug stuffed on it and that was it no power adapter so that wouldn't have last long. However it swallowed a new blu ray disc and refused after to start up after shutting off Luckily will get the money back for the dve players however I was promised credit for the dvd lost which was a week old and now of course they don't want to honor that seeing as I did not buy the disc from them as if they haven't had enough money off of me over the years especially of late. Considering writing to higher authority about this problem they should not be seeing items not compatible within the UK, but obviously are.

Enough of apologies

The fact that an international company, Amazon, has weak enforcement against delivery company, DPD, with which it has agreements, is far below buyers' expectations.
Institutionally, all they say is to apologize, but repeated apologies do not contribute to the solution.
In fact, the apologies of these companies not only reveal their incompetence but also show that they have made lying a habit.

Customer service none existant

I purchased an item which was never dispatched and not delivered on expected dates. Contacting amazon customer services I had to explain countless times my issue. They would inform me with scripts, and when I asked for a manager (via chat). They would leave the chat with the generic ( agent has technical issues). So passed on to someone else 3 times.. I got no where was told to send the seller a message and they would also and if I had not heard anything within 48 hrs contact them back.
Oh course nothing was messaged back to me so I contacted Amazon chat service again 48 hours after the fact. 2 other agents gave me the generic scripts again and told me to do exactly as I had been advised 48 hours previous and again to wait another 48 hours.
From order 7th Aug to 19th Aug I am still no further on.
In the meantime I had money taken from my credit card account from Amazon. It appears my card was used on an Amazon account not in my name. It was not authorised by me or my bank merchant, but Amazon would not disclose the deatails if the name on the fraudulent account or the item that was purchased. My bank sorted it out NOT AMAZON.. I was informed by amazon that fraudulent account was closed. 2 days later another payment was processed fraudulently on the fictitious account. Amazon was useless and did not resolve the issue. Protecting the identity of a fraud account and obviously they had not closed the fraudulent account as they promised. Again my bank is sorting it out. I have been messed about from Amazon who simply do not care for their customers, it’s all about making money. Once I do get my refund ( not confident) I will NEVER use this scam protected platform

Unreliable delivery

Used to be reliable delivery
Now I’m considering stopping all buying involving packets being delivered
My specific delivery preferences aren’t adhered to, packets are left in communal and unsecured areas of the building
Mis delivered items
I get a good response when I complain but it hasn’t changed how appalling the deliveries are

This is the second time I write an review of Amazon uk because my old ones got taken down. The 1,6 star reivew was kinda scary when i odered but it arrived in 7 days. So from the uk to denmark is pretty good! No problems at all! Very good price. Honeslty why everyone shamming them?

I lost trust in making expensive…

I lost trust in making expensive purchases at Amazon. Many items that I ordered can be found on Temu at less than half price. Purchasing electrical items is out of the question as they will not honour 12 months basic warranty so once you have passed 30 days you are stuck with faulty item, empty promises from Amazon customer service and silence from the seller. Find reputable retailer for expensive purchases and use Amazon for basic cheap items or groceries.

My account was doubted on several occasions and my orders where cancelled more than once,I was a loyal customer who spent a lot on Amazon UK they have also suspended my account when I tried to set up a new one due to frustration,these people weally need to have a think on how bad this can affect other people,once they have made their money they don't care

I do not appear to be able to buy from amazon .Unless i except an amazon prime trial .So have been buying from other sources.If it continues with cancel my account of about 18 years . I do not want prime will pay postage .Make it possible or goodbye.

Consistently Late Deliveries, Misrepresented Products, and Poor Customer Service

I’ve experienced repeated issues with Amazon UK and as a prime member for so many years, spending thousands per annum, my trust has eroded in the platform. Over the last couple of years I have noticed their deliveries almost never arrive on time, despite promised windows, often slipping by several hours or even days without explanation. This is not a one-off, it’s a persistent pattern and has got to the stage where I am currently looking at other platforms for my goods..
More concerning is the condition of items sold as new. On multiple occasions, products have arrived visibly shop-soiled, scuffed packaging, signs of prior handling, and in some cases, missing protective seals. If “new” is meant to imply untouched and pristine, then Amazon’s standards fall exceedingly short. This feels misleading and undermines confidence in their quality control.
Customer service is equally disappointing and responses are scripted, slow, and rarely offer meaningful resolution. Escalation is difficult, and accountability is virtually nonexistent.
For a company of Amazon’s scale, this level of service is unacceptable. I now have to approach every order with caution, and I would advise others to do the same, especially when product condition and delivery timing matter. They obviously don't care about losing customers who pay thousands into their system, shame, but time to move on.

Not worth this company…

After being a loyal customer and after spending a lot of money ordering from Amazon, my last two items were delivered , the driver took a photo just to find it that it was missing! It would took him half a minute to give me a phone call and let me know where he wants to leave my parcels, but he was lazy, so he took it to the back porch where is dirt, bin bags, rats, and a place for beggars of course it went missing! I had enough and will close my Amazon account as is not worth anymore ordering online! It won’t save your time , it will give you more headaches and you are forced to ask for refund!Am sorry, but this is one of the reason why Amazon will collapse, I would not trust anymore! Will go and buy from the shop even though I would need to pay more…. After this experience everyone can say whatever he / she wants…

Awful service

Awful service - cancelled my Prime Subscription
Delivery never came during the time slot but later package dumped outside my house and then stolen before I got home
Reported it to Amazon and they couldn't care less

Awaiting delivery of a replacement item…

Awaiting delivery of a replacement item from amazon, the delivery driver failed to deliver 2/8 no explanation.

Account shows redelivery today 3/8 , all i can see is item in transit from from where to where??

Went on their chat line , kept being transfered to three different people in india !! ,3 different!!

All different excuses, all i want to know is when the item being delivered and the timeline

Telling me i have to wait 6days is telling me a multitude of things

Amazon UK flaunting UK law.

Please note, by law it takes 30 days to process a refund from date of return not 60 days plus. An item returned on 19 July shouldn’t have to wait till 16 Sept as time allowed for refund.

Clearly a delay tactic to frustrate a customer. It’s worked. Judging from what I’ve read here, Amazon does care for the card charges a customer incurs or missed repayment due to your delay.

Very difficult if you have a problem with a product

I had to return a phone that was under warranty to a third party seller on Amazon website. Phone overheating and only 4 months old. Nightmare trying to deal with the useless chat line they amazon have! 1 hour wasted on two interactions with them! Both assistants gave me totally different answers. The last one hung up! And l was not abusive, all l said was l am confused!!

Parcel delivery via Evri

Parcel delivery via Evri. Evri couldn't deliver, didn't provide a tracking number and all Amazon tells me to do is contact Evri. Guess what? Evri won't even put me in contact with a real person until I provide a tracking number. Utter rubbish. Customer service about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Amazon have become too sloppy

Amazon are terrible now I’ve never seen them be so bad before as of now when you return an item to post office and it’s scanned your supposed to be refunded to your account in two hours only I’ve been waiting three days now and still no refund on account I phoned them up to ask where’s the refund and customer service do not know what to do their like we will wait until we received the item back yet the system is supposed to pay you back as stated on their own website in 2 hours their actually losing business as I have a checkout of goods to buy that I’m not buying until Ive received the refund in fact it’s taking that long I will shop at other companies now even eBay are better than Amazon now.

I bought a new hisense 50 inch TV from…

I bought a new hisense 50 inch TV from Amazon and it will be the last item I'll ever buy I received this TV on Tuesday 22/07 which was supposed to be delivered on Monday 21/07... when delivered the box wasn't very clean and in a bit off a state which we only seen once my wife got home...when we were able to lift and open it up...on opening the box I could see right away this wasn't a new TV and had been used so it was boxed back up... right away.
I think it disgusting Amazon use people like this too deliver faulty goods...and not new Which I bought in good faith from Amazon website showing a new TV... but this is nowhere near what I ordered...this TV was ordered through my daughter who has prime and it's now caused some raised tension between us...this TV should be uplifted and returned to the people who are trying to rip me off...and Amazon should be ashamed of itself for using such people... I'm over 76 years old with health issues and could be doing without this bother...so I would like Amazon too do the right thing and get this sorted I didn't ask for a second hand TV and expect what I paid for a new TV...I think Amazon needs to look at who gets to use their website and should be held responsible for the rubbish some people get delivered like myself...but this is a lesson for me I'll never use Amazon ever again...this company really does need too get it's house in order...23/07/25.
