Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Never thought of having such a poor experience from company of such stature. Dont use amazon pay at all. Booked a flight ticket from Amazon. Flight was cancelled and Indigo returned the full amount. Amazon team is such a bunch of useless people, they will ask you to coordinate with Make my Trip and Indigo to coordinate. Indigo returns the money to MMT which is partner of Amazon and MMT returns it to Amazon. They have not refunded the full amount yet. Had to file a case in court regarding this. Recommend people to stop using Amazon and file a complaint in court against them. this will teach a lesson to companies like these.

AMAZON PAY is TERRIBLE (the 'customers'ervice)

Buying an item at a third party seller, where I normally pay directly, offered me to use Amazon Pay. I figured, nice.... Well the first pay attempt failed, but the second attempt worked. I got my confirmation mails from both Seller AND Amazon, that they have received my money. Few day later, my wife's birthday gift arrives and she is happy (so I am happy...) Anyway, then the shit hits the fan... I get mails from a 'third party' who tells me i did not pay the item. Please pay again and oh.. extra 3 euros please. No direct manner of contact possible appearantly, as they do not respond 'about the content of the mail, but keep sending me in cirlces. Now my Amazon account is blocked 'Suspended due to not paying'.. It has been going on for close to 3 weeks now, still not resolved.

Ridiculous support!

I occasionally update our bank account for deposits. When I do I also do a test payment to make sure all works. I did a test payment from our BigCommerce store on Amazon Pay Aug 3rd the payment has still not been processed by Amazon. I filed a case and was directed to another department amazonpay-us-merchantverification at amazon.com. There's now a specialized team looking into this case. As of Aug 28th no deposits have been received from the test payment I did Aug 3rd. Payments we receive through Square, Stripe and Klarna all go through with no delays. The "specialists" behind Amazon Pay are still trying to figure out how the world turns.

The purpose of this review is not to demolish Amazon Pays's reputation, Amazon Pay don't need help to do that.

Unsuccessful payments still go through even when you don't need it

I ordered from an online shop and tried paying with Amazon Pay 2 times, but payments didn't go through, so I paid with Paypal and it was ok. 6 days later Amazon Pay decided to charge these 2 payments again. Who is this sick genius in the company who thinks I will be patiently waiting for them to resolve the payment issue instead of trying another payment method?!

Guarantee seems worthless

I ordered a replacement vacuum part from a company in the US on January 28th 2025. It never arrived and in late March I opened an AmazonPay guarantee claim. It was rejected a few days later with no reason. I asked them to explain and they simply restated that my claim was not eligible without providing a reason and said they would not reply again.
Don't use AmazonPay!

Amazon Pay No Buyer Protection

I bought an Adobe Abo with Amazon Pay. The seller gave me a different product. I asked for my money back but the seller never answered my request. So I asked the refund via Amazon Pay but Amazon says my purchase is not covered by their buyer protection. How come that Amazon Pay is available as a form of a payment on that seller website while they do not offer buyer protection?
Anyway, never again. I even deleted my Amazon Account.

Avoid like the plague, read the rest of the reviews.

The most appalling service I've ever experienced. Claims that there's an A-Z guarantee,I never received my item from the seller, logged a claim, and all I got back from Amazon Pay was I was not eligible and case closed, it read that I may contest it, but was shocked to read that they may not reply back. This says to me that no one is actually even reading these, gust a generic bot reply.I contested it and got the exact same generic email back.Absolutely no explanation why I wasn't eligible. It's simple. I paid for an item using Amazon Pay,I received a tracking number, but didn't receive the item. It was a scam and the scammers are using Amazon Pay to launder their money. At least with my bank or PayPal I would've got my money back. Add to that absolutely zero customer service to help you. I don't believe anyone is actually there, just automated bot replies.
This is from someone who spends a ridiculous amount of money on Amazon, yet the Amazon Pay division treats you like this. Seriously considering closing my account. Obviously judging by all the other 1 star reviews, and not one single reply from any representatives says it all, there's no one there.
Matters will be taken further

Thank you to Amazon Pay!

Thank you to Amazon Pay for their quick turn around in getting me my FULL REFUND from the phoney website STOREHUNK (have written a very different review for them). I could not contact the company on their phoney email address nor their equally phoney telephone number. To me, Amazon Pay, are the true hero’s of this tale! I could not believe how quickly it was sorted. Literally sent the claim about an hour ago, if that. I’m chuffed to bits so I am.

There have been fraudulent charges…

There have been fraudulent charges because the security on amazon pay is horrendous! And their customer service doesn’t answer tickets or emails for weeks if at all. And the cherry on top is their callback service has been dead forever and their hotline which is listed in the app,… the phone number isn’t even registered!!!!

stay away from amazon pay

Rubbish experience. I was paying for a train ticket in Italy, you get the ticket and an email saying "the payment to trenitalia has been completed". If you check the order it says it has been authourised and the amount has been debited. 2 days later, from an amazon.de email address (that could easily be fishing), you get a request to pay the price of the ticket with an extra 3 euro due to "dealing with payment rejection". You email them and talk to their customer service: A complete waste of time. Stay away from Amazon pay!!!

I will never use Amazon pay.com again

I will never use Amazon pay.com again. Was given the option to pay via this method at a checkout on website so used it thinking it was linked to UK Amazon account and would be protected. Sadly not at all. It’s a USA version and I could not get my money back when goods were unsuitable. They would not take responsibility at all and gave me the runaround.

Rental Car Amazon Pay Fail

I reserved a rental car using Amazon Pay. I was charged however the rental company could not finalize my transaction when I arrived. I wasted time at the counter and calling customer service. I never reached a live agent. After more than an hour, I cancelled my reservation and made other travel arrangements. Nearly a month later, I have yet to be refunded. I attempted to resolve the refund with Amazon Pay which proved futile in part because they ask for a reference number but never provided a reference number.

I have a purchased a Google play redeem…

I have a purchased a Google play redeem code of amount 2235 on 9th April by using Amazon pay. But unfortunately that code was not working. I immediately contacted to help centre but they said we have filled a complaint. After that I complaint atleast 5 times but still they have not resolved. And today is 4th of may approx 1 month. My suggestion would be never ever use this idiotic app for any purchase. Worst helpline service worst payment service
